This game was made in 36 hours for the UTD game jam! The theme was '8', which explains why we only gave you 8 shots. How fast can you get to the end?

Eight Bullets is now live! It was created in 36 hours for the UT Dallas game jam by two programmers. So yes, besides the character sprites, this is all programmer art :P We’re pretty happy with the results and level of polish for such a game, but we’re going to fix all the bugs we can as soon as possible, so bug reports are appreciated!
The most important thing right now is to make sure Kongregate is tracking the high scores properly, so if you can make it to the end and don’t see your score saved in the High Scores (panel on the right), give us a shout if you don’t mind :)

Kristus - the proximity mines pop up when you run over them and the regular mines are grey lines on the ground. they are clearly visible. I think you need to think before you comment.

well send a list of your opinions and maybe he will take time out of his busy day to remove the sound from the game and make the landmines 10X larger so you have to actually climb over them. I can't wait to play that game!

3 comments of 2 people. Sure that is a sign noone else got problems. And now knowing there are mines and played it with sound I survived. But still the mines are hard to see and I prefer listenig to music than having sound on some stupid game. Furthermore the game is more like "know your way" than actual fun gaming experience
