Oldschool vertical shoot 'em up in the style of Raptor: Call Of The Shadows. This is an experiment and was develop and published in a really short period of time. If there is enough positive feedback, we will develop this game further - add more levels, enemies, power-ups etc.

Hm, feels like a demo for a game still in development. Despite the nice simple graphics i miss things like: different styles of power-ups, alternative routes, variety in enemies and the like. Just compare to "R-type" (i hope thats the right title) back in the 80/90´s and you know what i mean. Still i can appreciate the effort and say cheers to the developers for a few nice minutes...;-)

Hi, thx for your positive feedback! In fact you're right - this is just the first stage containing the core functionality- so basically it's just a demo or a preview version. This was part of a project and was to be published as soon as possible (there was a deadline). Whenever we find the time we will continue developing this title and upload new updated versions. We just uploaded version 0.75. If you enjoyed this, it might be worth checking for updates from time to time :)

Since I read the game descrition before playing I knew it was just the first level. But I read "in the style of Raptor" and just had to try. In all a better version :) if you would try to implement the "between level shopping" from Raptor and keep the graphics... Then I think you're really gonna make something Retrotastic.
Hi, thx for the nice feedback! Since we are students and very busy at the moment, updates sadly will not come that often as we liked over the next time. But we had fun developing this and are really looking forward to keep on developing the game when we have a little more spare time. We didn't want to "copy" too much of the original game, but maybe the shop could be a nice way to "individualize" your ship and equip it with weapons that fit to your play style.

So, this is a single stage of an unfinished game? You really should have done more before uploading it. Completing the level and finding out that's it jut made it feel like a waste of time. Also, didn't see the controls at the bottom of the screen until about third time I passed through it.
Hi, thx for your feedback. Your're right this game is not finished yet, it's just a preview of what is going to come. It was part of a student project to publish this game (at this point in development). We will keep it up to date and keep on developing it further whenever we find the time. We set up a new Version and now the controls are fully rebindable, and we made some other changes you might enjoy. Cheers
