Regarding the occasionnaly "play button problem", juste add a stage.focus = stage; to your code after removing the eventlistener of the CLICK and before adding another event listener... Cheers!

Play button is faulty. Clicking it does nothing. Refreshing the page does nothing. I would fix that otherwise no one will be able to play your game.
