I need more, I need a visual representation of my upgrades and maybe even an upgrade screen. Give me something to collect from destroyed foes. Make the "between stage screens" more obvious and separated. maybe split firing, circle paths for bullets as well?
It is getting there.

I did this with the free version of Construct 2. Once I can afford an upgrade, those are all totally on the list.
