how about adding a period of about 3 or 4 seconds at the start to get used to the controls as they start shooting at you right away. sort out difficulty levels as well

Hm... Kongs tutorial was more to help understand game delepoment, it wasn't ment to give you whole idea and graphics to create own game to put on kong, even changing graphics to your own would help, changing it from horizontal side scrooling to vertical, creating something like old cool games from arcade machines, or old 8-bit comps, River Ride like :) With such a base as shootorial it isn't hard, and you create your OWN er... creation :) Cheers
