I didn’t say flashing avatars caused seizures. Though large fields of flashing light can cause them, an avatar isn’t going to do it. But the annoyance most people feel when looking at them is multiplied several times for many epileptics.

Flashing avatars are very annoying, and for people who have epilepsy they are even more uncomfortable to look at than everyone else. I’m changing your avatar again. Please create a version of your animation that doesn’t have a flashing or rapidly animating background.

I’m just wondering if I can still claim the prize even if I’m from the Philippines.

I think the Philippines are ok – the rules say that the contest is not valid in Quebec, Australia, Puerto Rico, and Mexico due to local laws. There may be others but hopefully you’re good. I’m sure they will answer you promptly – let me know if they dont.

The company doing the drawing just sent us the list of randomly picked winners from everyone who earned a ticket. I reviewed all the accounts myself for any possible cheating, alts, etc. They’re going to start contacting the winners soon, by email. They’ve also chose alternates in case the winners can’t be reached, aren’t eligible due to local laws, etc.

Because we won’t know the actual winners until they’ve been contacted I can’t post the list of winners yet (sorry about that!). But I promise they are real people, and only 6 of them are Kongregate employees or mods. Just kidding.

jfdowd – we’re a couple of days behind in entering ad revenue – as soon as we do that you’ll see revenues since your game was published. But just to let you know with less than 300 gameplays your revenue will be low – less than $1.

If you’re thinking about the loot challenge, Know This. Once we draw the winners we will inspect our database Very Carefully to determine if any of the winners were creating alts. And we Have Secret Ways Of Knowing. And we’ll take away your prize. In fact if you already own an Xbox we’ll come to your house and break it.

Seriously, don’t make alts for the loot challenge.

Thanks – gave shadow a 100 point penalty and a one day ban and deleted all his comments. Similar for the other spammers. We’re working on a much more automated system for this.

Ok guys – this was me. I was attempting to punish a player who had been farming cards. Instead of deleting the records of the cards he had won by farming, I deleted the cards themselves.

This is what I get for trying to do technical work while low on sleep from a new baby. And for being an idiot in general.

It looks like we’ll be able to clean this up, very sorry about it!
