“It is handy not having to use up fuel to do repairs and heals and it also saves time doing repetitive clicks”

Fuel usage was the absolute EASIEST thing to manage in the old system. Of all the things to modify, this was the one thing that actually didn’t need to be changed.

having now gone back in, reset all my mercs and main, and took a couple of my level 40s on a level 15 special map mission…. My guys don’t have enough APs to line up shots correctly, do almost no damage, can’t hit for shit, and the enemies took me apart. Sorry, the changes made have RUINED this game. I can’t believe I spent 30 bucks on this thing now. so tired of being a damn beta tester for games that just aren’t ready for prime time yet. LAST time I ever spend money on an online game that hasn’t proved itself for at least 6 months first.

that does seem pretty clear. What’s also clear is that they have specific users they listen to, ONLY, and the rest of us can go stew. It’s been like that since the beginning, so don’t take it personally.

I came back after a LONG absence to find none of the changes I requested (after being here from the very beginning, and pumping some serious cash into it) had been implemented.

I see all of my characters have been reset, and I now have NO idea what stats to give them based on the changes made.

multiplayer:

I have yet to even be able to get a match; probably because too few people playing.

still:

-somewhere in the multiplayer menu, show everyone that is currently awaiting a match, and let US pick who we want to match up with by clicking on them in the list. this lets us choose what kind of fight we want, or whether we want to fight a friend, etc.

these are suggestions on costs:

-repair costs WAY too much, given it takes a significant chunk out of every mission cash reward, and redoing missions typically barely covers repair costs. hospital can be avoided most times, but almost never can you avoid needing to repair and maintain your gear. it becomes a HUGE cash sink the higher level you get.

-building upgrade costs are insanely high. also, it seems pointless to have to buy individual upgrade components that you actually never find on missions. either include those as parts of missions, or eliminate them from being requirements to upgrade. this will reduce the costs significantly.

-rewards for replaying previous missions (cash rewards) should be much higher than they currently are. sorry, but the idea that you are going to go back and play lower level missions to build up a cash supply is ludicrous.

-gold for insurance on crafting… OK. 9 gold is too much. make it 5.

-crafting resources should cost way less gold. make ALL crafting resources available from the start, but have ones where you have reached their “level” become available as a cash purchase. this way, those that want to rush things will be paying gold, those that are fine with waiting will at least be able to do some crafting when they reach the right level. remember, replaying missions to hope for a craft drop is a CASH SINK the way it is set up now.

-a game guide that shows all the weapons, crafting recipes, armor, etc, should be available somewhere so we can plan when and where to spend gold, or save up for a specific item.

Topic: Kongregate Multiplayer Games / [Jagged Alliance Online] Bug reports

twice, I have been simply unable to pick up an item that dropped from a kill. the item is visible, I can grab it, but even with free inventory slots, it will not let me pick it up.

happens very rarely, currently is happening with an uncommon skorpion on the “farm” mission for the level 14 rescue mission contract.

as an experiment, I took some ammo and put it in that pile with the skorpion. now I can’t pick up the ammo either. so, something wrong with some drop locations?

edit:

turns out this is only a problem with Dr. Q! for some reason, sometimes he simply cannot pick up dropped items, while my other mercs can.

I bought the Clint Eastwood themed hat and jacket (the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly), but they don’t display on my character in the paper doll, or during missions, at all. It’s like I’m not wearing anything.

Topic: Kongregate Multiplayer Games / [Jagged Alliance Online] Loading times/loading bar

It’s interesting, as I’ve only had one mission hang on load for me, and I just refreshed the page and reloaded the mission, then it loaded no problem.

I wonder what the difference is? My rig is new, but only just above average in equipment.

things that might be worth trying:

-uninstall the unity player, and let the game reinstall it.
-I’m using adblock, try enabling that just to see if it stops the weird load lag.

there has to be some reason some of us see no lag at all, and others have to wait up to 30 mins to load a mission!

Topic: Kongregate Multiplayer Games / [Jagged Alliance Online] medkits

there is no explanation of how these work on a mission.

I found two “tiny” medkits, and can’t figure out how they are supposed to work. can’t double click on them, left or right, can’t drag them anywhere (like on your merc or their portrait).

so… how is it supposed to work?

EDIT Nevermind, for some reason, the belt option was not appearing on my mission screen. Now it is. go figure.

also, is there any way to drop an item during a mission? can’t drag onto the ground…
