Topic: Contract Wars: General / User feedback and opinions

With my 400th post, I am going to exit this forum. I know I shall be missed.

But to the feedback which I will keep nice and short. Remember that this game was introduced in Russia during its inception and you cannot expect this community or any other new community to behave the same as we are on different scales in watching the game grow.

The foundation of this game is its skill tree. Without skill tree, this is just another FPS. Through farming contracts, one can garner substantial Skill Points as this game is just a battle of who has the best skill tree. Many have partaken in contract farming and still do I assume seeing how fast they finished the new, much more difficult contracts.

The only reason developers actually care about EXP farming is because primary purchases of GP rentals(or income for developers) come from 2x or 3x boosters. Now especially with clan skills coming, blockage of exp farming is vital.

MP201, that is very funny you say something is unhackable. Kirill, you know, the DEVELOPER OF THIS GAME, previously have stated that this game is HACKABLE and there are ways but he didn’t divulge.

Yeah, so no standalone as it will only make matters worse. I guarantee it.

If there is going to be a client, it will be when the game is no longer managed as it is now. In other words, when the developers are done with the game and moved to another project. Maybe this is what they mean by FULL VERSION. ;)

Even 10 damage is a huge significance. Clan skills are going to make the gap between older players and new players even bigger. :O

All our 3 hit guns will turn into 2 hit guns. lol

Hardcore mode is the cheap guys version of 3x boost. I noticed that top russian players having levels near 70 had very little HC gameplay hours. It may be that Kong users dont find leveling of importance beyond 60.

Agreed, one should be able to compensate for the recoil by pulling the mouse down; it real brings down the skillcap of the game to “I GOTZ P90 ZOOM ZOOM ZOOM”. Certain guns should have a larger kick, others a smaller kick. Having more recoil would make the game more dynamic and bring the game to a whole new level.

Having no kickback makes low firing weapons useless in this game other than low ammo use. Supposedly they are going to implement a new recoil method but I doubt it will be done in one year.

At the end of the day, everyone wants an easy frag. Kickback would just introduce difficulty.

You talk as though your guns have recoil and everybody else’s don’t

TKPD and IZH are both compensated with their damage.

in this case he meant TC and yes , there is Interchange TC and new map called Crossroads which will be for TC and TDS. Recently I visited the office of developers and I saw a new map. And there is no planned game mode for this update. I even met Kirill in persone, well, for the second time in my life.

I was not talking about TQ. The part where he said of the new game mode was in the same thread and that is what slixtrix initially responded to. But it seems he edited that part out I think.

“and another one will bring completely new experience to CW.”

But it doesnt matter. Just curious

I am saying that this gun and most other guns that rely on skill tree increases are useless without them.

To answer a relevant response to OP, YES, there are new modes and new maps coming as stated by Kirill here couple of months ago. Stay tuned.

I’m a tester for this game and have direct contact with the devs on a regular basis. Thanks for your criticisms though.

The newest map is a DM version of Lighthouse (the ‘station’ cap point), and we will be getting a few more TC’s shortly.
