Hey, everyone (I know I’ve been rather inactive), just was curious as to how Ncio and others make background with nice vector-y rays.

The thing about crownzero is that the artists there are extremely good. They are playing on a whole different level than I am. I can’t see myself getting above beginner there, and that’s one reason why I’m not going there. For another, with GIMP you can only go so far, and I’m not interested in getting PS. And for another thing, they don’t seem very noob friendly.

Aaaah, names are hard. You don’t want something really overused, or it’ll sound corny. You also don’t want something really rare, or it’ll turn into some sort of fantasy battle thing.

I think you should just choose a common name that sounds realistic.

Kind of a fail, but I’ll be leaving for China soon, so just wanted to enter.

1st-Taper: Awesome manip, love the oldish feel.

2nd-Yuyuter: Sweet smudging, I really like it, and would love to see a version without the soldier/text.

3rd- Ncio: Decent overall, but the render looks sort of LQ, and the text isn’t great IMHO.
