Hi,

I recently updated my game (playable at http://www.kongregate.com/games/wxcvbn999/gravitris ) to use the Kong API (For highscores). When testing with ?Debug_level=4 it shows that the API implementation works, but the highscores tab doesn’t show.

Is it supposed to take a while? I read on some source that it appears after refreshing a bit when previewing the new version, but it’s been half an hour, and the scores tab still doesn’t show.

How can I fix this?

Hello,

I had participated in the latest LD48, and uploaded my game to kongregate a while ago. I now noticed there is an extra category called Ludum Dare games, but my game is not in there. I can’t find any option to put my game there. How do I do this, or should a mod/admin to this?

SOPA and PIPA should be denied as soon as possible. They say it “stops piracy”, but to put it blunt, they don’t.

SOPA gives the american government to right to block a site (even if it is located outside the USA) if it contains anything even slightly infringing copyright. Sopa says that if for example I post a video on youtube about how to download something, not I but google (youtube) is responsible for this, and the government is thus allowed to DNS block the site. This block is only noticeable in the USA, but they lose so much traffic they would probably go offline because the company behind the site goes bankcrupt.
This is meant to stop piracy, but it can do so much more. It is so abuseable (It’s meant to be abuseable) by big companies so that they, if potential competition start to rise, they can just lawsuit them to hell, they go bankrupt, and the big mega corp can live hapilly ever after.

PIPA does about the same, although it’s not really against copyright infringment through piracy but more about protecting intellectual property. If you have a billion dollar corporation which make video games, and there is an indie corp getting big, they can lawsuit them because their games slightly resembles the ones of the big-corp, and they can just block the site of the small indie corp, they don’t even need a lawsuit.

So PIPA and SOPA are very dangerous, because they can and will severly damage democracy and free speach.
So do everything you can to boycot it!

Hell there Kong!

I’m a young but talented and driven programmer.

I recently started making games in unity, and I already got the hang of it, but the main problem is, I cannot draw. I suck at drawing so hard I wan’t to chop my hands off after trying.

So that’s why I was looking for an artist who has some experience making textures and 3D models (It doesn’t even have to be good), who can, from time to time, make some textures/models etc for me, more like a contact who I can rely on when I need models or textures. You will offcourse get full record in the credits and if you would ever need some programming done in unity, I would be glad to help you.

If anyone is interested, you can contact me through PM or this thread. If you want I could send you some stuff I made, although most of what I made in unity isn’t that big, I made a quadrillion different projects, each touching different aspects of games, but only one ‘big’ project.
That project is probably the most boring game ever, but you can’t even imagine what I learned whilst making it.

nevermind, i got it.
but i found a bug

when you go to the “character select” screen or the “see al achievements” screen there stands for unlocking sir colin you need to win outlands “zigzag” without crashing but you need to do outlands"glacier" without crashing.

i dit the level “outlands:zigzag” 5 times without crashing but i still don’t get him.
is this a bug or am i just missing something?
