The city of Ragmar is divided into four parts for each of the world corners, yet it all blended freely. To the north was the district for the rich, to the south the district for the poor. The east for industry and agriculture, the west for markets and recreation.

If one were to go to the north-west, they would find somewhat big shops and large homes, whereas in the south-west the shops would be small, and the houses in a lesser state of repair.

It is a time of fortune for the free city of Ragmar. Wealth, technology, peace.

Power.

Behind the fortune it was all a game of power and corruption. The rich made payments to get rid of other high-standing members, and the prices were high. Money changed hands in the city every day and it was no small amount.

With each passing the control of the city shifted slightly. The most powerful man in the city was a ghost. He controlled a great part of the city, but no one had ever seen him. No one knew what he looked like, only that the great tower in the northern part of the city was his.

A game. Will you be playing?

Reserved for lock.

The game is set in a steampunk-y world. By this, I mean that all tophats, shoes, gloves etc. has small gears on them. If it makes sense for there to be a gear or bolt or similar, let there be one.

[2 things.

1. I know I haven’t been very active (if at all), and for that I’m sorry. I’ve been distracted by other corners of the internet, and it takes time away.

2. My laptop is being taken away for some time, so I probably won’t be able to post for quite some time. I’ll leave Gambi with the choice of killing off Jack with giant mutant-bunnies, or putting him on someone else’s shoulders. Either will be fine, as I probably won’t post again for a looong time.

Au revoir, mes amis. I will (hopefully) see you in the future.]

[Meh. I’ve been missing A LOT for a long time, so I’m just bringing him up to everyone else and pretend I know what’s going on.]

Jack.

I’ve been standing around idly for a long time, and can barely remember what has happened apart from passing out at some point.

“Brainswashed? You can’t tell by who, can you?”

[Sorry for my extreme absence, I’ve been distracted by a great number of many other things. For now, here is a lazy post to prevent me from dying.]

Jack.

I’ve been so caught up in thought that I only notice the ship beginning to sink through shrouded thoughts as I hit my head on a wall. I promptly pass out from the impact, left to the mercy of the waters.

Wow, I never thought I’d get this involved…

Don’t worry, you’ll be fine.

I hope.

I just thought up a random idea of a mafia.

Instead of letting everyones roles be a secret, let everyone have their role revealed, BUT
When roles are given out, everyone will see. The catch is that the skills will be turned.

So that way, lynching could mean the crowd killed the NK’ing doctor.

I’m off for sleep, so I’ll see what you guys say to it in the morning, it’s still only a rough idea in my head.

[Don’t go with what you aren’t interested in, but get a more solid plan for a game first? Perhaps that’ll make you stick to it.]

Sheila.

I know I should be able to move silently along the edge of the camp with my padded paws.

“I could go around and see how many they are, unless…”

I look around for a vantage point from where I could see the entire camp.

Sheila.

I signal shortly for clear coast, and wait for the others to begin.

“I can go check for people on the other side of the road,” I whisper to the others.

“I agree,” I say, idly sharpening my dagger with a rock.

“We should get a plan going.”

Sheila.

“Well, we are a group, so we should work like one.” I say the last part over my shoulder to the rest of the group. We carry Marion over to the side of the road, and I begin inspecting his wounds.

“Well… He has arrows in him. We should probably get them out, or something… I don’t know anything about healing people.” I say and stand up. I turn back towards the others. “Hey, any of you know how to treat a wound? Or five?”

“Come on, Val. Let’s help Marion.” I say as I walk over to his head. I lift up in his shoulders a bit and motions for Valerie to take his legs.

“Let’s just ambush them.” I say. “If we all attack the gaurds at once, we can probably overrun them with the element of surprise.”

Sheila.

I pick up a dagger, weighing it in my hand before throwing it at a tree. With a thunk it sticks out, wobbling a bit. I walk over and take it out again.

“A bit heavy for something to throw, but certainly effective if that should be needed,” I mutter. I walk over to the others.

“So what now?”

Even though the minimum age is 13.

Glad I could help, though people tend to be much more helpful, from my experiences.

EDIT:

[quoted posted has been removed by moderator or administrator]

How very hypocritical.

You went to the wrong forum, though I don’t know why they’re being so un-helpful.

Name: Shila “Thiefhand” Ginter.

Race: Catfolk (?)

Age: 21.

Gender: Female.

Bio: Shila was raised in the streets, by the rules of them. That is, if there were any. She grew a talent for pickpocketing rich-looking people, often to their dismay. Over the years, she gathered a small pile of interesting items. A pocketwatch, a golden pen, a funny-looking device, and half a square coin.

As she grew older, she obviously noticed herself that she was growing to be quite the woman, and she used her looks to make her pickpocketing easier, charming both men and women while fidgeting in their pockets. In the alleys, she overheard other homeless people say, “look, there goes thiefhand.”

She took the name to her, but kept it secret for her targets.

She was later recruited in a bandit group, where she trained to become skilled with daggers, and small knives. Combined with her natural climbing abilities, she made a great assasin and thief.
