I can see where you are coming from. I’ve stopped playing too, just tired of everything getting nerfed right as I figure something out. Its just too tiresome to keep up with.
I appreciate your many posts and helpful advice. Take care!

Topic: Anti-Idle: The Game / Eggsnham's Button Machine Guide!

While this guide is a good start, I have to ask some serious questions:

1) How many ascensions have you had? Unless you have played for 7+ years and have 20+ ascensions, you cannot write a guide. In fact, you really aren’t even allowed to have an opinion until the 2 year marker. You need to write a complete section with your exact play experience, credentials, awards, etc.

2) I feel that this guide is lacking depth. When approaching a subject as expansive as THE Button, you really need to prepare yourself mentally and physically, and then write volumes on the subject. Where are teh graphs? Where are the charts? Could you at LEAST write a few spreadsheets or java tools or something to assist? I for one would like to know what happens if I am able to get 12,557 clicks? Maybe a tool where you can put in how many clicks you do, and factor in the average number of breakages, let them input if they have the invulnmerabilyt active, etc. Then calculate teh total XP and coinage that will be optained.

3) I feel that you are making light of Anti-Idle. It is in fact an established religion in some countries and is “srs business” as the quote goes. You know that in some religions they hunt people down that make fun of their beliefs or make light of their traditions. Just sayin…

4) You missed April fools. :-)

Topic: Anti-Idle: The Game / [Guide] Careers

Ok dude, here is why you max item maker first.

Each level in Itm Maker (from 1 to 100) gives you 1% Drop Rate bonus. It also gives you an extra 0.5% of craft material per level. Once maxed out you are thus getting 100% drop rate and 50% more materials. 100% drop rate means DOUBLE the amount of stuff dropped in battle arena by monsters. This is pretty good! The 50% crafting mats is even better at higher levels because you eventually wind up with lots of Drop Rate boosters, but as far as I know the crafting material bonus is unique.

Soo…how to do it? Go to Menu, Item Crafting, Weapon, and make a Pickaxe. Most likely bronze, but whjatever you can create. Equip it. Go to the training zone…the very first one. Wait for a crystal to spawn. Hold down X for Quick Attack and spam it till the thing dies. You will AUTOLOOT any items or craftable materials it drops, plus manually loot any Coin drops. You can position your curser such that you get about half of the coins automatically. Then put a rock on the X key. Then you can watch a show in another window or whatever, long as you move the rock whenever you see a popup warning and replace it.

That’s the easiest way Ive found. Killing crystals and autolooting the materials will level the item maker career (along with fighter) quite nicely. Make sure to activate a Business in item maker as well to get extra freebies.

You can read more details in the linked threads, such as which ring to wear, the collecters pendant if you have/get one, invisible allies to use, etc. Now that you can easily swap skills around, make SURE to max out your QUICK ATTACK active skill, and then max all REWARD skills, along with Attack speed, crit, etc. DO NOT put pts into any other active skill or any of the Strength/Dex tab points since they dont apply to mining at all.

Topic: Anti-Idle: The Game / List of Importance BA rings based off of what I think

seaturtlelover, do you fully comprehend how worthless your advice really is? I mean you literally regurgitate a description for a ring whose purpose is obvious.
Ring of Power (more damage)! Seriously? Like we couldn’t figure out that mayyybe just maybe a ring of POWER increases damage?
Or that a CRIT ring has something to do with crits?

You have no real concept of the various formulas in the game, so plz quit making these useless posts that add nothing of value.

The only thing good about your posts is that they make my posts look like works of genius! Maybe I will get less shat-upon by the pros everytime I ask a question, as you are successfully lowering the standards. (tho I doubt it) So thanks for that… ;-)

But seriously bro, don’t post “guides” when you don’t really know whats going on. If you do, turn them into questions. i.e. “Based on my limited experience, these are my thoughts on some of best rings and here is my elaborate thoughts on why this is better than another one… what do you guys think?”
See how thats a lot different? Don’t feel bad…I kinda did the same thing and still do.

=———-
As for actual content, I’d point out that the ring of protection is really good when you don’t know what you are doing. For pros that have ascended 5 times its near useless…they know the game and how to not die. For scrubs, everytime you go to a new area, you risk getting 1 shotted, even tho the zone requires Rank 70 and you are rank 200…some boss triangle 1 shots you. Or Chuck 1 shots you out of nowhere, or an elite Strange Box 1 shots you in an easy zone, etc. Dying means 10% XP loss based on THAT FULL LEVEL. i.e if you are 20% to level X, you are now 10% to level X, you dont lose 10% of your 20% progress.
But 50 prot means you can idle Mystic Path and Strange Lab with no worries. Accidently taunt too much in tower of doom? No worries. Get stunlocked and SOAPed and Dotted by CHAOS? No problem!

However once you start doing Corruption, you can get skill books in PROTECTION SKILL which is the greatest thing ever (for me at this current time). 50 ranks = permanent ring of protection, PLUS a very large amount of flat damage reduction which makes it near impossible for monsters to “wear you down”. i.e. right now I have like 2 mil health and 2 mil mana. That gives me 1 million straight up damage resistance. Stuff that would kill me in 2-3 shots normally does ZERO dmg now. The bad news is that means I get 1-shotted if my mana level drops or fight something too nasty.

Topic: Anti-Idle: The Game / [Guide] Triangle Hideout

How come you use so much mana? I noticed you dont use Protection skill (which would give flat 10 million damage resistance), so what else good is it? Other than the Mana Power which gives you quadruple dmg boost and I believe 4 million flat DR. Is it the 4x dmg that you are looking for? Because I don’t see this being used in other areas, so I was wondering if there is some kind of trick (i.e. crit dmg nerfed here or whatever).

There is a great app called AutoRap or some such. Its free, so give it a try. You just speak the words and it will auto-tune them into a rap to whichever melody you select (free is limited of course), but its pretty fun. This looks like a great candidate for it.

Topic: Anti-Idle: The Game / How come so much time-limited stuff?

Hmm. Fair enough I guess. Tho I will say that we have some Old Timer Syndrome here. Newer players don’t really know what exactly to do with these items and don’t have a roadmap as to what can be used to get to the next step. Nor does the average person think “Oh! These are clearly weapon-only bonuses and thats why this set is good”. Therefore most will be reluctant to spend lots of resources on temporary items.
I guess one can look at these as being kind of an “ascention bonus” or whatever. Once you know a lot about the game, you can then make best use of them on the next ascension.

Topic: Anti-Idle: The Game / How come so much time-limited stuff?

Could the durations be at least extended a bit more? 3 days and 7 days for several of the craftables seems rather short, as does 30 even. Maybe not if you play 24/7, but many of us play the game mostly as an idle-one.
Keep in mind also that even if the CN set for example is stronger than other permanent alternatives at that level, it will NOT be stronger than the alternatives with +10 enhancement most likely, and definitely not stronger if theyve added very many Unique Enhancers. So its not just about reforging the actual time-limited equipment itself, but also considering how many cheaper enhancements you are willing to waste on it.
The 45/60/90 day are a lot more doable.

Topic: Anti-Idle: The Game / How come so much time-limited stuff?

Well, I was thinking relative to the higher level stuff that I’ve unlocked. Sure, all the base armor/weapons that you get pretty quickly are not time limited.
But it seems like most of the stuff that I really worked for (like Chuck, Alien, etc) are time limited. They seemed strong but not overly powerful relative to their cost. Hence I was just wondering if I was missing something and/or if it was possible to allow them to be Extended thru life rocks as an option to spending a lot of money making them then losing them in 7/30 days.
I’m sure you did it that way for a reason and clearly you are an excellent game designer. Just throwing that out there as something to consider?

Topic: Anti-Idle: The Game / Relative Importance of BA Stats.

Wow, that is an incredibly overview. I really really appreciate the time you took to lay this all out in such a masterful and approachable manner, vs digging thru complex formulas and endless abbreviations.

As for questions and clarifications:

1) How about Negate BadBuff or whatever? Is that worth putting on a weapon, or does the Ring cap it at 80% anyways? Without the ring, is it worth having. I had problems with several of the bosses because they couldnt damage me all that much but kept dumping Bad Things on me, then eventually put some kind of fast damage over time that killed me in 2 seconds. Negate ring helped my victory rate hugely. Just use that?
Is Rage Attack higher priority then?

2) Regards to mana, Protection50 gives me 50% of my remaining mana as Damage Reduction. So with 2.4 million mana thats a 1.2 million permanent Shield! When I only have 2 mil health that seems like a big deal. And its free. I didnt realize mana power was a percentage increase. That seems strong too… a good 50% increase in dmg.

3) With the mastery potion thing, wouldn’t that mess up any other buffs? For example the Enrage buff that many IAs give you. With 50% mastery skill and 2 orange bonuses on armor Ive got it maxed already. So wouldn’t I want the enrage buff instead? Or the power one?
Or should I remove the 2 armor mastery and some of the Skill and perma-mastery pot it?

4) Wow, so you are saying that Accuracy Sucks! Just get hit chance and I dont need accuracy at all?!? Thats something else. Man, that would free up tons of bonuses and room. That would also free up a lot of enhancemnets since I boosted Accuracy percent on my weapon several times, so that its around +100%, along with a good amount of flat stats.

5) So for elements, only Dark/Light are really useful sounds like. Doesnt Light element allow you to hit Undead monsters or something?

6) I thought Attack Power sucked because it seems to get nerfed in various zones, like Dark Pyramid, etc. Is that a minority case? This is why I tried to get as much EquipAttack as possible and mostly ignored Attack Power (other than having maxed base values). I guess thats not the way to go.

Anyways thanks again for this extremely awesome guide.

Topic: Anti-Idle: The Game / How come so much time-limited stuff?

I’ve noticed that the great majority of crafted items are all time limited with no ability to use life rocks? Why is this?
I started beating up Chuck and unlocked his armor items. They look pretty good, but by the time you are that level, you’d want to enhance them to +10, which is kind of a waste on a time limited item that you cant extend.
Ditto with Alien gear, and a whole bunch of other craftables.

Maybe some elite players can find a use for this stuff, but it seems a shame to have all this craftable stuff that players work hard to unlock, then find it’s all garbage due to severe time limitations on all of it. And there isnt even the option to do lots of Dark Pyramids or crafting to try to pay upkeep via life rocks.

Would you ever consider removing some of the “no life rock” limitations?

Topic: Anti-Idle: The Game / Spend Yellow coins on what?

How about your garden? Garden is the biggest contributor of YC for me (level 5k, rank 360) by far, with about 4 billion YC per day from garden alone. This is what paid for my Skill 20 fishing, and career boosting.

If you dont have 25 plots in the primary garden, go ahead and do so. If so, start working on Another Garden…at least 1 plot worth so you can start Breeding seeds at the bare minimum since its easy and free to do so.

I would also do Careers too. For about 200 million you can activate one career at a time. Go ahead and start working on one. Item Maker is one of my favorites as it boosts your DROP RATE by its level (up to 100%), and gives more crafting mats when active. You easily boost it when mining or just general fighting if you are collecting the drops. Dark pyramid gives a nice boost too.

Topic: Anti-Idle: The Game / Relative Importance of BA Stats.

We all know that maxing Speed at 25 is really important. Going from say 12 to 24 will double your damage output. Even beyond that, a decent base speed on a weapon with some AS boost will give some extra double attack as well. It is pretty easy to get maxed AS though and is likely one of the first things to get capped.

Getting 95% mastery adds a lot of damage which near doubles your dmg output on average (going from 52% of max averate to 97% of average). You get 50% from a skill so a few Mastery items (on yellow bonus rocks) will max you out.

Double Attack is good too, which can near-double your output once again when capped.

Getting 95% crit chance near-doubles your damage once again, since you get 200% crit dmg for free I believe.

From there, crit Damage is a big multiplier since you always crit, and I would think it is the main stat that you would go after next up to the cap of 1000%.

Boss dmg/non-boss dmg mostly comes from your Ring of Cruelty and invis Ally and adds yet another multiplier. Eventually you can get that amulet that starts boosting it. (though I am rank 360 and I noticed as it levels up, its required level goes up too…which worries me).

These stats are pretty easy to understand and make sense.
-—————————
However, what about Accuracy? How much do you need, and is it better to get Straight accuracy (from Purple bonus for example), or Percentage based (yellow bonus rocks and on some wpns)?

How about Hit Chance? This allows you to ignore their evasion I believe. How much of that is needed?

What about Mana and HP? With Protection Skill, Mana gives me a pretty high amount of flat damage resistance. I can get say 200,000 more health…OR 500,000 mana which gives me 250k DR. Seems like mana is no brainer.

I am trying to figure out how to configure the Bonuses on my Armor set. Right now, Ive got each Green at a different Element (since the other green options are reward-ish based), then I have Mastery on Yellow for a few of them to hit 95%, with the others being a semi-random assortment of Hit Chance, %mana, Accuracy, etc.
My crit dmg comes from the base attributes of the armor and I figured I could use Enhancements to boost both it as well as pure Attack.

I could use some help with the Big Picture here.

Topic: Anti-Idle: The Game / Frequently Asked Questions & Ask stupid questions here!

What is the best way to apply bonus rocks to your midgame stuff? Im rank 350, lvl 4500. Got a G5 fused with Greatersword from mining with decent stats. I want to be able to generally do stuff like secret dungeon, doom, etc.

My thoughts are as follows and I would love correcttion:

  • Green is reward only…except for Element. So I have each equip piece have a different element (for general purposes).
  • Only a weapn yellow can have Negate debuffs so this seemed worthwhile to get.
  • Most of the enchantment rocks were Crit Damage and Accuracy.
  • I max out my Mastery thru Yellow rocks on armor. With 55% for free it only takes 2 such slots.
  • I then add more crit damage on Purples, and a bit of accuracy/evasion on remaining yellows.

Any thoughts? Armor is just random stuff (knightmare, etc) from mining with Master Pick.

Also, do I finalize any equipment? Ive got 280+ days on my wpn for example and an extra 20% stats seems pretty strong…
How bout armor? Better to be able to swap elements around, or go ahead and finalize for the 20%?

Oh yeah…and how do you get a better SKIN? I still have the Yellow one I crafted a long long time ago.

Topic: Anti-Idle: The Game / I would love some EXP...

Uhm, not to be unnecessarily harsh but you have seen the Feature shop right? You see that there is a lot of stuff to unlock and do. Have you tried Stadium and Arcade yet? Those are the most playable alternatives. Stuff like Adventures dont occupy much time. Lolmarket can if you wanna get into it… I just check it twice per day. You can also garden like crazy for decent XP and a lot of YC. Garden I belive is one of the best sources of YC at medium levels when you really need lots to unlock various features. Fishing can occupy some time as well and has decent XP gain. FCG as mentioned is pretty in depth.

All that said, the Battle Arena is definitely the heart of the game. Make sure you have anti-idle mode turned on for the progress bar, and spend your green/blue coins to crank up your BOOSTS min/max ASAP since this makes a big difference.

You can also use Garden Points to buy the more expensive trees such as Black ones. Hold space bar, select the Black tree or whatever, then plant using garden points to save some GC/YC/BC.

Right now, with my black trees the stats shows that it is my primary source of income. (Im mostly idling and mining and stuff currently). I rake in like 2 billion YC every 8 hours which is pretty good, plus stuff from my other garden.

Eventually Yellow Coins become far less useful, but at your level they are very key to getting a lot of the expensive stuff like Fishing levels, epic skills, insta progress, careers, etc.

Id like to point out to make sure your ITEM MAKER career is active during your mining session. It gives you 100% drop rate and 50% more materials, which is extremely worthwhile for the 300 mil it costs to activate it (assuming its your only one active during mining).

Regarding G5,GS that result isn’t awful but not optimal. I belive you would want to get both items as Legendary (RED), with better than normal stats. Then youd level each one seperately (whcih sucks), and use mystery enhancements on EACH ONE (which also sucks) to get to +10 and +9 respectively.
THEN, you would fuse them together.
By doing so, you are getting a +9 item with like ~65% of the main stats and ~55% of the secondary stats. Fusing gives you basically a just under 20% advantage I believe.
Assuming +60 attack enhancers used, thats +600 on each weapon, or +720 to your final result. Therefore youd fuse and get about 1800ish attack.

If you are like me (I just did the same stuff), you prob didnt have all +60s, and might have added some 10% accuracy boosters instead or whatever.

But hey… the weapon is pretty good. Do tons of pyramid runs to get its life really high then Finalize it for another 20% bonus. You can then work on a more perfectly optimized one later one like I plan on doing. It beats a fused pyrabow rite? :-)

Topic: Anti-Idle: The Game / Any way to level up and get money fast?

The major moneymaker for yellow coins is the Garden. Starts out really boring but you can harvest free trees every 1 minute, replant every 5 min. This gives you Yellow coins, blue coins, green coins, garden experience, garden points, and XP for that plot itself.
Once youve got the plot to level 7ish or so, its adding 35% more output, (maxes at level 11 for 55% boost). Unlock the MiniGarden as soon as possible.
Once done, you can then use the 5 minute harvest trees instead and play the Battle arena or whatever and click every 5 minutes to harvest. I’d stick to the 5 minute trees as they give the most output with much less annoyance than the free grey trees.
Buying a second plot costs 1 million but it doubles your income from gardening. the 3rd plot you will hold off on due to its 4 million pricetag (and 9 mil past that, and 16min, 25mil, etc).

But eventually having a full garden will allow you to make tons of Yellow coins needed for doing all kinds of stuff past the primary unlocks. Going from level 1 fisher to level 2 costs like 1 BILLION yellow coins! Goes up from there.
Then you can use the long duration trees like Black ones to harvest twice a day for huge amounts of cash.

However this route is NOT quick nor easy (well its easy but annoying).

Actually I believe you would want a Greatersword as your secondary fuse with a G5. I just got a Master Pick last week and got a greatersword as well as a few G5s, both red legendaries.
Ive been boosting the level on the greatersword and it is far superior to the G5 as you can tell just by opening Crafting and comparing the stats of the two. Rank is similar but Greatersword has way better Speed which is the main benefit, followed by generally better other stats.
While speed isnt hugely important as getting 25 cap is easy enough, but your base weapon speed also affects your double hit rate. i.e. a 10 speed weapon with 500% AS total boostage = 50 = 25 cap and 25% doublehit. Vs a 20 speed wpn that would be 25 cap and 75% doublehit bonus.

4k level, 300 rank. I actually only got about 5% from gardening, though I only checked stats yesterday in response to your question. I have 50 plots and use the long yield trees (red ones due to quest and 4 hr ones in another garden). I use periodic fertalizer and 7% from adventure boosts and have level 111 plots on main garden.
50% came from progress bar and most of the rest from battle arena. Normally I’d make more due to use of Black trees extended duration which allows those fertalizer/7%s to stack up and grow.

Thanks for those who stood up for allowing me to have an actual opinion. I am aware that some people love playing LOLMarket all the time and are pretty successful. However for those that play this game with more idling and don’t have level 100 career, maxed capacity, tons of cards, and check it all day long via 75k BC lights, etc, it really is a relatively minor source of income. If I check it say twice a day, I will usually wind up buying about 2 or 3 categories of gems at a discount, and selling 2 or 3 on average making a profit of about 1500 GC per gem. Assuming a capacity of 50, thats 150,000 GC twice a day or 300,000 GC per day. That isn’t bad, but its not amazing either.
It is certainly worth doing for the tiny effort put into it, but dont expect to get rich off of it.

I am curious what all else I said that was supposedly all that wrong since most of what I said was apparently incorrect.

I should buy a g5 or should try to loot it? I have been idling for a quite long time and i have enough money with full item maker to do it. Or there is another weapon i should be aiming?

From what I can tell, looted weapons from Mining seem to be WAY better than stuff you can make. For example, with a diamond pick and my collectors pendant equipped(needed to get wpn drops), I got an oversized slingshot +2 with 900 attack, 20 speed, 100% accuracy, 40% crit chance, 950% HP regen.
I also got a legendary GreaterSword with 900 attk, 20 attack, rest were normal stats. Compare those to the baseline items.. they are much better.

I am working on leveling them up so I can fuse them to make a G5 primary, Greatersword Secondary, then load em up with Attack rocks. Im rank 300ish, level 4000ish for refence and you have better armor for sure.
