Some kind of anti-lag measure would be helpful. I’ve played some games that could auto-detect lag and pause the game or something. At the very least, a way to lower the quality?

Topic: NovaLode / Suggestions

Seconding the pickaxe repair suggestions. Some way to create them would be nice too, but it’s a little ridiculous to just toss a tool the instant it breaks.

And yes, please either link the fabrication bays or at least put an exclamation point on both the map and the screen over the bay so it’s easy to tell where to go! As for the item storage-dealing with other people’s fabrication, what about a Mine/All/Friends/Contributed To kind of button (like chat channels)? The last one showing any project that you have contributed resources to. That should definitely default to Mine, too (or default there and then let you change Default in a menu), otherwise it’s going to be a confusing pain.

Also, PLEASE increase speaking distance! I can’t talk to someone who is effectively three feet away from me.

Topic: Outernauts / Support Issue Thread

I’e only noticed this on Captain Bones’ hideaway, in the last day or so, but occasionally there will be several rounds where my monster uses the same attack without giving me a chance for input (ie three rounds of Blizzard before I can do anything). It happens in one-on-one style battles and multiple battles, it happens if the enemy switches out or faints (ie Blizzard, enemy faints, new enemy in, Blizzard twice more). It is especially prevalent with my Frozzo, and it will even let me do input for allies but not for that one monster. It’s gotten me nearly killed twice already and is extremely annoying. The enemy monsters can choose a variety of moves while I’m stuck with this.

Topic: Outernauts / Support Issue Thread

Hi! I really love this game, especially how it facilitates friends helping you and teamwork without beating you over the head with it. My issue isn’t so much a bug as a dislike of the design – the inventory system seems extremely convoluted and clunky. It can be difficult to know exactly what I have at any given time. At the very least, could there be some way to check only what you currently own? And maybe check what if anything you need more of to make a recipe.

Aside from that, I noticed during the Molten Fields quest that Sludge Canisters only register after that particular quest is given. It seems kind of problematic for you to be able to uselessly open the chests beforehand and afterwards, especially since I emptied a few right before getting the quest and panicked a bit. It works out in the end, but seems a bit hectic? I don’t know if this is a personal bug or how the quest is designed.

Anyways, thanks for making such a great game! It really feels like it was designed with the player’s fun in mind.
