1st of all, what control are you using? Legacy control uses a more “Car-like” steering… while the new controls uses a more traditional point and click to move.

ahm I did not consequently test this but i think you (devs) may want to know that on the dragon upgrade page the sell buttons sometimes work even if not displayed (=you have no dragon of that kind). you klick on the picture around the place where the sell dragon button usually is and then a window appears offering your the crystals and warning of the action being permanent. I have no idea whether you can successfully sell a dragon you dont own with it, but I think you will understand i am not in the mood to figure out what happens risking my account. please fix this! that window should never appear there!

I’ve tried it with weapons before, I lost 2 weapons (in 2 different events) when I moved the cursor while the animation was moving (selecting to an “empty” weapon will not award you with anything – I’m guessing the same goes with the dragons). Atm, I think I was the only victim of that happenstance. Already mentioned it to them, and while I can farm those weapons back, they reimbursed the weapons back.

Anything with some kind of “Area-htting” skill tends to have synch issues… We already mentioned Chrono & Chillblade. It would also explain Mistfallow’s Siphon and even Nightmare’s wings.

Like I mentioned, Chillblade always has that issue, but I don’t know up to know how the server is picking that up. Seems like some “Stun” skills like the Immobile spell also has that problem.

Depending on what the bot is carrying, it can afford to be quite aggressive (I saw a Nightmare with Skyburst, that after the leaver left, it was pushing hard). At some point, having a bot may be better than having 1 man down, esp if you can’t control multiple points at a time.

On BT, I think it’s a server/client thing, where the server thinks you got hit and thus won’t get stealth, just as the moment you do turn invi (and gain the speed)

Anyway, new change logs:

Patch notes for today’s maintenance:

- Adjusted the network code to emphasize correctness, which should lead to fewer problems of players not taking damage when it looks like they should (helps with the no-damage hack issue)
- Fixed an issue where you could move faster than the dragon’s max speed normally allows when moving diagonally with a controller (controller bug)
- Fixed a display issue with the forge skin for the Doom Shards weapon
- Made a slight adjustment to projectile speeds to increase accuracy with regular breath attacks when strafing with an enemy (Helps to balance normal breath attacks vs Beams)
- Fixed a bug where Wudeng’s Mantle would sometimes absorb full damage instead of the proper 50/70/90% that it was supposed to. To help make up for the reduced effectiveness, we’ve also reduced the mana cost from 20/25/30 down to 16/22/28
- Mistfallow’s Soul Siphon once again splits damage amongst its targets, but it now gets a 25% damage boost for each target beyond the first one that it’s hitting. Soul Siphon can also no longer be affected by cooldown reduction as that was leading to an unintended overlap in the ability. (To balance it back – but seems weak based on the dev’s explanation)

Imagine the rage though… they already removed a “Invite a full team” to reduce the Queue time, and it caused some uproar. I just think that teams should have a separate leaderboard.

I believe that Duos actually screw up the Matchmaker, when you think about it, based on what you just said. If everybody plays solo, I’d think we see more varied yet close ratings.

1500 might be a bit too high, but another cap, maybe around 1350-1375. But we’ll need to see just how many players are in the bracket, else we’d break them up way too much.

The old one gets added to the new, but if you use them for upgrades, then you’ll lose them. Make sure you got a steady supply beforehand.

  • Added Spinereaver to the Dragons Shop.
  • Arcfury: Electric Charge now aims in the direction the player is flying.
  • Bilebite: Increased Bile Shot damage from 60/75/90 to 70/85/100. Increased Buzzbomb duration from 5 seconds to 6.
  • Bladeforge: Increased health from 1600/1850/2100/2350 to 1600/1900/2200/2500. Increased DoT damage from Inner Fire from 60/80/100 to 70/100/130. Increased speed of Forge Rippers from 200 to 230. Increased Bladeforge’s Inner Fire mana cost from 1.2 to 1.5/1.75/2.0
  • Bogwraith: Delicate Eggs now have 50% damage falloff from the center to the edge instead of 25%. Mana cost of the eggs upped from 50/60/70 to 75/100/125. Breath’s proc damage decreased from 100/120/140 to 80/90/100
  • Briartove: Increased health from 1400/1650/1900/2150 to 1600/1850/2100/2350. Increased dragon speed by 4. Increased Thorn Breath damage from 23/33/43 per shot to 25/35/45 per shot. Decreased cooldown on the Briarthrash proc from 1 second to .75 seconds but it is no longer affected by cooldown reduction.
  • Deepfiend: Increased speed by 2. Torrent Breath damage reduction amount increased from 10/15/20 percent to 15/20/25 and damage reduction duration increased from 2 to 3 seconds.
  • Direbone: Increased Bone Shard damage from 65/67/70 to 70/72/75. Increased Unholy Mist breath damage per second from 120/170/220 to 130/180/230
  • Frostbane: Increased health by 200. Increased slow amount on Frost Breath from 20/25/30 percent to 25/30/35
    * Gemtalon: Reduced range of Earthstar’s Light to match the visual, Prismatic Armor reflect amount reduced from 50/70/90 percent to 50/65/80 and levels 2 and 3 now now level gated to 6 and 10.
  • Goldenclaw: Consuming Fire now takes 4 seconds to dissipate instead of 3. Increased gold-carrying capacity by 400.
  • Gravelurker: Rot Breath Crit increased from 80/90/100 to 100/110/120
  • Hellfire: Increased Flame Breath DoT duration from 4 seconds to 6/7/8 seconds. Decreased Fireball mana cost from 60/80/100 to 60/70/80, increased its damage from 120/166/212 to 120/170/220 and increased its splash damage from 60/83/106 to 60/85/110
  • Mistfallow: Soul Siphon no longer splits its damage between targets and the max number of targets has been increased from 3/3/3 to 3/4/5

  • Ryujin: Kami No Tori now live for 1.1/1.2/1.3 seconds instead of just 1 at all levels. Increased health of Kami Soko barrier from 500/625/750 to 600/800/1000
  • Spineback: Increased speed by 2. Increased Sand Breath damage from 120/170/220 to 150/200/250 per second and armor reduce amount from 10/15/20% to 15/20/25%
  • Tanglewing: Increased Nari’s Haven AoE damage from 15/20/25 per second to 30/40/50 and increased its healing per second from 18/24/30 to 36/48/60
  • Twinscale: Increased Breath of Blood damage from 13/17/21 to 13/18/23. Both breath attacks now pierce through all targets so it can affect multiples targets at a time (friendly or foe)
  • Ulfberht: Increased Lava Burst damage from 120/160/210 to 150/200/250 as well as the ending blast damage from 120/168/216 to 150/200/250. Increased Living Flame damage from 60/60/60 to 60/80/100 and their speed from 185 to 230.
  • Chronosphere: Increased Chronoshift range from 140 to 160/180/200 and decreased its mana cost from 90/125/160 to 90/110/130
  • Death’s Reach: Reduced cooldown of Wrath of the Fallen from 30 seconds to 20 seconds. Increased damage of the white ghosts from 80/100/120 to 100/120/140
  • Doom Shard: Increased Spin Shard cooldown from 0.5 sec to 1.0 sec and charge time from 3.5 sec to 8.0 sec

Power factor could be appied in a similar way to weapons, although some weapons may need a customized application of power factor.

Anything that’s overused/overwinning will automatically get a slow nerf, anything that’s underused/underwinning will automatically get boosted into balance. In fact making this process visible to players could be beneficial – a smart player may seek out underused dragons and weapons to play, knowing that neglected stuff will carry a power boost. Not only does this improve the game through balance, in the long run it ensures all dragons and all weapons will appear in play nearly equally. The balanced diversity of play-experience would itself beneficial.

It’s interesting, we and a few others actually had a similar discussion about this (where we’ll have to rate masteries and stuff to add/subtract the “score” so it eventually reflects on your win/loss points).

Dragon masteries add 1% to speed and HP per mastery (so in that regard, a dragon with say: 1400 hp and 100 speed, should have 1456 hp and 104 speed at platinum… not the biggest boost as people would often believe, but still some boost).

Weapon masteries supposed to give damage and CD, although I have yet to confirm this properly.

Pretty much what Anima said, if you play against Gem’s weaknesses, it’s not possible for it to 1v5, as long as you spread out and NOT SHOOT AT IT. Here’s a cheap way to counter it, Eir’s Glory Sanctuary. Every time it uses the shield, hide as well. When the effect ends, attack him. I think Sanctuary has lower CD than the shield, so you can outshield him.
