The ending bug scared me, but I did manage to get the badge after completing another battle. Either way, I really enjoyed the game and I loved the art style. The grid really needs to be a little bigger though.

I’m surprised they haven’t implemented a chat icon next your name like they have with previous contests/quests. Considering it’s an event that depends entirely on user participation, I figure they would want to get the word out however possible…

I usually love these jumping distance games but this one felt like a chore from start to finish.

I tried a few strategies mentioned in this thread and others and nothing was really working. All I did was restart a few times until a couple of my troops had high rifle skills (anything about 30 really) then got a bazooka, a sniper, a medic to heal them, and a 50 cal after all that whenever I had the points after that. I coasted until about 60 then was dead around 65. When I hit 50 I don’t think I had a single casualty.

I tried a few strategies but nothing was working. In the end, Just spreading out my initial 4 soldiers then recruiting a bazooka and a sniper got me the vast majority of the way to 50. I added a couple 50 cals for backup and a medic to do some healing but I got up to 60 without a problem. It’s not much of a strategy and it won’t get you to the high score charts but it will get you the badge.

It started to drag a bit at the end, but I loved the style of the game. I’d love to see a sequel. I never even came close to the mad scientist achievement though. shrug I got my badges so that’s good enough for me.

I’ll admit that I think $15 is a little overpriced, but who says it needs to be free? The developer obviously put a lot of time and effort into the game and thinks he deserves to be compensated for the privilege to play it. We’re LUCKY to have what we have on Kongregate. We have no right to what we get here, so be thankful for what we do have. The free demo is better than many full flash games you get for free.

I’m terrible at chemistry. I walked into my chemistry honors class in 10th grade years ago and that’s what the teacher called me. It stuck for some reason. He was fired later though for other reasons. Can’t say I was too sad to see him go…
