Looking pretty classy
It is a game?
That’r a game that looking pretty classy
But it a game is?
Yes yes and yes although {SPOILERS} this is just concept art
Maybe you mean placeholders? :/
How do you know he doesn’t mean concept art? Perhaps once the game is live, the boxes will be shinier and more colorful.
If you ask me, them are already some really shiny boxes right ’er.
I can’t see it
I did in fact mean concept. “Concept art is a form of illustration where the main goal is to convey a visual representation of a design, idea, and/or mood for use in films, video games, animation, or comic books before it is put into the final product.” Since in the final product I will have three square buttons, and a rectangular main character. Placeholders don’t have anything to do the final product. (I’d have used my RandomGraphic class instead of ColorBox)
syurba here you can try the direct link http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y264/Battle_Warrior/inprog1.png
Hah, you call that concept art? THIS is concept art:

I can see it, I just meant that I cant see how the boxes are shiny.
Nice art by the way Danny.

[AS3] Putting a "+" symbol in a string?
i meant that
“(” + “+”
and
" (+"
are the exact same thing. didn’t say it would fix the problem.

[AS3] Putting a "+" symbol in a string?
Try use this instead
String(e.currentTarget.itemStat8-equiptmentSlotArray[iSC].itemStat8)
also you can just write
" (+"
intead of
" (" + “+”
also your code is stuffing up in formatting so make sure to read http://www.kongregate.com/forums/4-game-programming/topics/39889-proper-forum-code-formatting-guide

Works fine for me, dunno what you’re doing wrong. Maybe check whether your embedding the correct letters in.
outputText.text = "1+1" + "=" + "+" + "2";
trace(outputText.text);
Will output “1+1=+2” for me.
Hence, we need to see the actual code.

In that case they wouldn’t need motivation – this is for when something is hard work and it would be easier to go do something else.
Do you have any idea how hard it is to eat ice cream all day? Prices would be even higher and stuff like that yadda yadda yadda rant rant (Also maybe you would have to eat loads)
you just made me get some ice cream.
