Yeah I didn’t have the time to get grims/terraformers, I did get lion’s mane in the last 5 days of the event or so.

I noticed ESoK has something like a 78% win rate on the fan site, with top cards. I’m guessing that’ll change in about 2 months or so, when there’s a new set release.

Hi all,

(1) Is there a guide to raiding/raid progression in tyrant?

I use the fansite regularly but am wondering if there is guide elsewhere.

(2) Otherwise, what card sets seem to have the best cards after homeworld?

I’m an old player who was away for the last 1.5 years, and came back two weeks ago. I’m leaning on farming awakening and the last two sets, but overall it looks like the most valuable cards for me are raid/quest, plus a few from vault.

Otherwise yes, you can for example clear every dungeon, kill Oryx & Oryx 2, get an 8/8 character if you do not pay. Expect to farm a lot of fame (for pets) and die a lot before you consistently play safe enough to get a strong character to do this.

You could have a FAQs section on your site where you explain the above paragraphs.

If money is an issue, I would suggest several features. A donation box linked to a third party payment processor like Paypal could be helpful.

Additionally, I believe there are some competitions out there for valuable web/wiki sites out there: could seek out the gaming ones. And of course, you provide value to 5th Planet: they might be a source for value.

Also this is a pretty heated thread where people suggest you do datamine: I was simply asking if you do and you suggested above that you do not.

However you also suggested you have agents who contribute. Do note the possibility that if an agent contributes to your site by datamining and you profit, you may be liable to 5th Planet games in the event of a dispute.

Post: I wouldn’t waste your energy on replying. You are facing a classic circular argument: someone is suggesting that his/her opinion that opinions not facts exist on xyz topic, therefore opinions not facts exist.

More often than not people are quitting this game.

I appreciate the response from AlexBytex, but this isn’t a good game in many aspects. And thank you for forwarding player suggestions to the devs, but I’m not sure the devs have been taking them seriously from the start:

Judging from the list of changes, player complaints about the lack of card balance date back all the way to November 2011. Heck, players were even asking for a reset button back then.

Thank you for the interesting angle on ccgs with Berserk, but as I’ve stated before, I hate to see a game go to waste.

Lands are a make it or break it feature of the game. However, lands + tournaments are both contributing to the issue of most of the wealth in the hands of the few.

  • Caps: Restrictions based on the amount of lands owned are needed. You could have a “max level” of lands owned, or limit the amount you can gain monthly after you hit a certain amount (100 etc.)
  • Supply: You need to fix the issue of land supply – currently the lands you get are from other players that leave. Counterintuitive – you want people to stay, but tougher land acquisition in the current form leads to more people leaving … downward cycle. I prefer the pvp format that tyrant has (ie gain points for a guild, gain land for a kingdom not you etc).
  • Get rid of governors: More lands, more income at decreasing returns to scale. There, economy a lot more fixed.

I overall agree with the gist of Sir Valimont is saying (though vote more in line with AngelicDawn).

- I agree that other aspects of the game should trump land acquisition (but lands are a cool integral feature of the game, so prob not feasible)
- I agree in part with “more lands for low level players” but more like “more land options for players with few lands.”
- I disagree with your suggestion of more lands, more barbarians – too what extent? And it makes it tedious grinding at the end – not good.

Fullthrottle1: I like the idea of dummy lands – but only as an option for players with low amounts of land (say <200). Farm dummies until you hit 200, then farm off other players. It could work!

Nice try, but to be a WW you need actual sides involving at least all of the top 10 factions.

I believe there was only one real WW, and then WWII was more like a battle of humans vs machines.

Okay, look most of the proposed improvements focus on minor tweaks – statistics, UI etc.

The number one thing that needs improvement is gameplay. Plain and simple.

Take proposal #1 – Quests, and blow it up. I mean minigames. Varied play. Interrupts (random events that change a match). Missions that are different depending on the season/time of day you play. Gameplay, gameplay, gameplay x100.

Cut out proposal 2-10. Replace these aesthetic changes with gameplay improvements.

Then boost faction wars, this should be your #2. Like what, 70, 80% of active players PvP? This is a huge priority.

Don’t get lost in the little stuff…

Just a word of advice, seeing that the devs have overlooked a lot of elements when making this game:

Make sure the reset button brings up a message saying “Are you sure you want to reset your account?”

PREFERABLY, have players actually type “Reset” to reset the account to prevent accidental resets.
