I really have to give the staff at Kong props. Thank you for listening and giving us the options of what to share in the feed. It really means a lot to be a part of a community that listens to its users. :)

So right now we only see our own activities in the feed but when this thing is fully rolled out, we’ll see the activities of everyone we’re fans of, right? A lot of us have already asked for the ability to filter our own activity feed but in addition to that, i want to be able to disable sharing my activities to other users. I wouldn’t mind sharing something like high scores or when i add a game to my favorites, but i don’t care to have all the users following me (the vast majority of whom i am not mutually following) to know when i add someone to my friend list or send someone a message. I don’t want to keep my profile private forever because i can’t control who sees what. I want people to be able to send me a shout and see my favorite games, i just don’t want everyone being nosey. While it’s true that users could see these things before, it would be happening “behind the scenes” and noticing it would more likely be just a coincidence. But with the new activity feed, everything we do gets announced to everyone following us as it happens. That’s what i don’t like about this.

Profile set to private until i can disable or at least restrict the activity feed. Deleting activity feed items one by one after the fact is unacceptable.

if i was a betting man, that’s what i would bet on. besides, if you go to “level select,” you’ll notice a “kongregate badge mode” tab at the top.

An amazing Highscores app on your profile. Shows all highscores, ordered by date, rank, etc. You can see there highscores in comparison to yours as well as easily highlight the games that the user is really good at.

Conundrum, perhaps except for the highlighting of games, such a thing already exists. It’s called Facebook and Kongregate has its own. XD

i don’t use facebook but i would like something like that (like a gamer tag) to use in other forums or websites.

Like many people who don’t have all the badges, I don’t want to spend forever playing and replaing the same unbeaten games. So we want more. (:

well then why should greg put forth even more effort to make more badges when you’re not willing to put forth much effort into achieving them?

greg has explained many times what it takes to make badges and the problems they encounter in making them.

that’s plenty. you don’t even have all the badges anyway.

you can’t have everybody with the same cards.

that would be an interesting stat, to see how many people have each card. i don’t think they’re too worried about people having the same cards though because it looks like you can only play with a handful of characters at a time plus some items. so the cards people choose to play with will vary, in which case you’d want them to have as many cards as possible. keep in mind that it’s been mentioned that people will have a chance to obtain past cards so if you can’t get it now, there’ll be another time.

Too much categories make Kongregate a lousier place.

i disagree. i think as the site continues to grow, organisation should grow with it. but i think the problem would be the logistics of it, someone would have to go through and reclassify all the games.

if this helps to provide any insight to this problem, when i played the game last thursday my chat suddenly stopped working in that i could see people’s messages but was unable to enter any of my own, they just disappeared. then i noticed the last two coins i got did not register on the site (they did in the game). so i closed my browser (firefox) and went back into the game and everything was fine. the site saw those two coins and chat was working again.

not reading the challenge instructions, i used the level 3 code and completed the game. wondering why i didn’t get the points i read the instructions again and saw that only the level 2 password is acceptable.

so now i’ve completed it again from level 2 but didn’t get the points. do i need to clear my cache or something?
