2. Skyrim just came out, LoZ has been around for 25 years. the Skyrim storyline is your the all powerful dragonborn hero, go kill teh dragons. what makes it great is the near infinite side quests and huge world.
3. a real console? I certainly wouldn’t get the failbox. I’d rather have a PS3 then a Wii, but the failbox is just multiplatform games, shooters, pay to play online, and RRoD.

most of that is true enough, but Xbox is winning the race? the Wii way outsold Xbox360 and PS3. the Wii does have plenty of hardcore games, even if not nearly as many as PS3 and Xbox 360. I must agree with the whole too easy thing though. all the difficulty comes from puzzles, but my favorite parts are boss battles and when confronted wit a huge number of weak enemies. a survival mode would be awesome though.

The wii won in console sales but I believe xbox sold more software. There’s A LOT of shovelware for the wii…

the era of consoles is on the way out, in 10 years video games will be 95%+ PC, and hopefully a large chunk of that will be indies.

Getting a ps3 is worth it. Uncharted, Infamous, Red Dead, Ratchet and Clank etc. There are a lot of great franchises on that console.There’s also the fact that it’s more powerful and in my opinion it has a better controller. These things make for a better gaming experience. (and free online! =D)

It’s not really a “game” in the traditional sense. Yeah it’s entertaining but it has no goals or anything of the sort. It dosn’t really seem like it should be labeled as full game and sold as such.
