They should make a badge called “if your a god” just for this game and it automatically brings you up 5 levels. Reaching rank 99 is xp 76,330,948. Which would be 19 times (more or less) how long dthdealer has been playing.

Which by my calculations is a pretty dam long time :D.

So basically what your saying is that it is almost impossible to make this turn-based shooter into a perfectly balanced/fair game. (My question was part rhetorical).

So why not just switch it back to the way it was instead of making this game so complicated in the first place? Didn’t you want a nice simple jump onto game in the first place zworp? It can still be competitive in Yajins perspective, it would just take more skill and luck to survive in the middle

Sorry for the double post!Heres an idea from The_Brad, hes too shy to post it.

How about giving an alpha shop to all alpha tester before the final release that wont be available to the public. Just give like a nice tank skin every 50k or 100k or so? Something like that. It would be appreciated alot too!

And btw zworp, will the customizable tanks be like an unlock feature or a purchase feature using XP.

Crimosnthorn, your idea interested me very much. I could imagine this game increased ten fold and takes the same amount of damage now, but imagine all the EPICNESS if this idea went into consideration by zworp. But it might take alot of work.

Yajin, I never said it would be boring. That whole phrase in the quotation marks was an example.

Yajin the chances of getting a shotgun b4 it comes to your turn is very slim. And it wont happen frequently. Its just the feeling of killing someone that makes it fun.Maybe you dont like it, because it takes no skill at all and a noob can kill any vet or pro at this game or you have a such amount of deaths from it. Just because theres 1 unbalanced feature (not saying that the rest of the game is balanced) doesnt mean the whole game is going to be out of balance.

And arent you exaggerating when you say “frankly, I think zworp can go about making UMAG enjoyable in much better ways than throwing game balance out the window.” 1 unbalanced issue wont throw this whole game out of the window.

That makes no sense, its like hes implying that if we add this back it wouldn’t be competitive anymore. Its like me saying “Oh if zworp doesnt add this back, it will be as boring so we might as well turn this into a competitive online chess.”

Most people here think its fun to shotgun people, yes being shotgunned is no fun, but they do realize it will happen to them sometimes. The new people will learn it eventually if they are smart enough to ask around or look at forums.

Yajin if we decide to keep our crappy,old,Never-gonna-get-out-of-the-hole stats then maybe that should be our decision. If it does mess us up that bad and we realize you were right then we can restart on our own at any given time. Even if it messes us up, it would give us a choice in the matter instead of wiping or keeping. Plus two servers would take to much work.

If you were an old player then you would know that the old leaderboard had Most damage in one game, most kills, and most damage. We never had deaths tracked only kills and damage.
