Topic: Programming / Flash CS3 Testing input problem
Thanks. I actually couldn’t think of any reason why someone would want it to do that. I assumed it was Vista causing the problem. I guess I can’t blame M$ for this one.

Topic: Programming / Flash CS3 Testing input problem When I test my movie, it seems that half of the keys I press are inputted to flash instead of to the movie I’m testing. For instance, ‘d’ will trigger a keyDown event but ‘a’ will choose my SubSelection tool instead. Is there any way to fix this? |

Topic: Kongregate / CHAT:We don't care! Irritates me too. Can’t stand it. Then of course, someone will play a game and get 3 badges at the same time. Naturally, they must copy and paste every single one of them. |

Topic: Serious Discussion / why do people not like micheal jackson? Actually, I listen to lots of bands that used to be popular. I avoid much of today’s mainstream music. Much of the popular stuff has gone in a direction that I don’t like. |

That is absolutely ridiculous. That’s like me saying, “Now I really don’t care if they keep it quiet and stay hidden, they have all the rights we do, just don’t let me see them being black.” I mean really, what the hell is that? Do you actually think it’s acceptable? |

Topic: Kongregate / What level would a newb be? He said newb, not noob. I wouldn’t think it’s judged by level, but time since sign-up. Look at Damijin. He’s level 17 and he’s been here forever, longer than I have. I’m quite a bit higher level than him though. I say a newb is anyone that’s newer than 2 months. |

Topic: Serious Discussion / Psionics Yeah, that probably would be a good thing to do. We don’t speak anymore though. That’s why I lost interest and stopped practicing in the first place. If it were still back then, I’m confident I could have gotten 50% accuracy. I’ll work at this sort of thing more often and see if I can’t get similar results. I’m sure it won’t be hard to find a partner for it. You guys have to remember, prior to this topic, I havn’t actually attempted any of this stuff in 2 years at least. |

Topic: Serious Discussion / Psionics I don’t eat my dead relatives because, in our society, that would absolutely appalling and illegal, I’m sure. I don’t worship the sun because I don’t worship anything. I don’t take chi-baths because I’m not even sure what that consists of, though I would assume that chi and psi are generally the same thing. I don’t face west when I eat because my chair simply doesn’t face that way. I don’t get magnet treatments to cure my illnesses because it’s something I’ve never really looked into. You’re being close minded because you’re immediately shot down what I claimed. There was no possibly that, as crazy as it sounds, I might be right. It simply was not an option. Of course I can’t provide scientific proof. I’m not a scientist. I can accept that you think I might be crazy. Though, to say that if I’m not crazy, I must be lying, is very rude. It’s depressing that you have so little faith in me, a fellow mod for well over a year, at that. That shows that some people in this community do trust and respect me, and that I’m not some nutbar trying to fool you all. Milski, that is the point. If you single out a very specific piece of data to measure, you can do it. Admittedly, I don’t know all that much about IQ tests. Which does it measure, knowledge or the ability to learn? I don’t believe it’s scientifically valid to measure two things with one test, but again, I could be mistaken. The point I’m trying to make is that nobody really understands how or why psionics works. Unless we know how it works, we can’t take the pieces apart to measure them. |

Topic: Serious Discussion / Psionics Milski, by that logic you could measure absolutely anything. It doesn’t mean it would be right or accurate. There are many different types of intelligence. Some people can look at an equation and instantly tell you the answer, some people can’t add but they’ve got more common sense than 3 people combined. BSG, you absolutely are being narrow minded and are being quite rude about it as well, as demonstrated by your last post. |

I have placed a cup filled with very hot tea next to an uncovered psiwheel in a rather cold room. It is as close as it can be without touching it. I’ve been watching it and have seen no movement. That actually did surprise me. I would have thought the heat would have made it move. I’m already fairly certain that it’s not heat from my hands moving it though, as I used to be able to move it from across the room. If you want me to try anything else, I will. I’m having a hard time with this though, because like I said, I’ve been out of practice for a long time. I wasn’t all that good to begin with. I’m making an attempt to work at it again, but I find myself quite lacking in skill. |

What he has done doesn’t affect my claims in the slightest. I’m not going to tell you that he was using psionic abilities. It could be possible, sure. It could also be a hoax. There are many people out there just looking for attention. I’m a skeptic as well. My beliefs are based solely on my own experiences, which are quite limited, and of those close to me. I will tell you that what he has claimed to do is likely possible.
I do. People believe what they want to believe. If I somehow did provide proof, someone would almost immediately claim that I’ve faked it.
I really don’t think there’s any truth in that. |
