there is a minor bug: when deleting a nuclear terra, it does not count as unit loss, but the nuclear terra still explodes and damages nearby units, when deleted while deployed. to avoid this the nuclear terra has to be moved to the unit bank and deleted from there. still i assume it should not be like that.

i might add, that online communities, where there exists a physical barrier and the possibility to switch off at any time, are a very good place to start learning the interaction with communities, which appear to be unfriendly or aggressive.

we know what you mean, and we dont care!

if you are offended by language like this and you are not even capable of muting the players, then you should sell your computer and not use the internet and online gaming anymore.

that or you accept, that not you make the rules, but the community makes the rules. and in a lot of communities it is not bad or evil players, but it is lazy newcommers, who do not care about learning game or community rules, that makes everyone getting pissed off.

it is like entring a room and starting to talk and play like everything and everyone focuses on you. good morning, and wake up! such a behavior just pisses off everyone. if you enter a new community be quiet and try to learn the rules. there might be a reason for strong language. do not mistake strong language with taunting or mobbing! strong language per se is just a choice of communicating things. with choice of language you also can show belonging or exclusion. i for example do use names for lobby rooms with strong language only – just to keep players like you away. no joking.

get over this and you will be a bit more growen up and understand this world better.

it is no flower power hippie shit. that would be great! i admit. but reality is more diverse and much more bad. learn early is the best you can do.

this is a really good idea! blacklists would make online gaming with random/public teams really much easier. i amissing this feature in a lot of games.

some additional feature would be that you can merge/update your blacklist with a list of another player.

Can you make the ranking value a score that is based on won battles devided by fought battles? that would make much more sense. it would show who truely is a good commander.
pvp score additionally should take into account if the fight was against a player of same level or one of lower/higher level.

digging even deeper into that idea, instead of taking into account the players levels you could base the score that is gained in a battle on the army setups in the battle. meaning that if a player is capable of winning a battle with a weak setup against an opponent with a strong setup, should give more score than winning with evenly strong setups. that would make the most sense, but might also be a bit complicated.

a lot i guess. and you will never find out. no one goes back and tags a game one has played years ago, just because there is a new tag. and even if: you never can be sure all of them are tagged! and btw, are you sure “story” is a good tag? i mean, think: a tag is something that categorizes a game. it distinguishes it from other games in a certain respect. but that means, that for the other game has to be a category too. like for the respect “genre” it can be “action”, “adventure”, “strategy”, and so on. what is that in your case? well, the best i can think of is “story” and “no story”. does that make sense? and even if you may say “that is what i need” there is another problem: some may be convinced that even the boxhead zombie shooters comprise a storyline. and then they tag it with “story”. i am not sure if you meant you want to find the boxhead zombie shooters.

but anyways the tag system is nothing that makes sense. it is something you make fun about, or fun with by selecting stupid tags. or you would delete it entirely from the site and redesign and redevelop it. no one cares about it really after it became that sensless mess.

hi folks,

lately i noticed, that the game “this is the only level 3”, is tagged with “elephant”. no crap! it even is tagged with “animal”. ahm …. well, maybe it also should be tagged with “rectangle”, “door”, “switch” and “pipe”, because it prominently features doors, a switch, 2 pipes in its level and all the platforms are made of rectangular tiles. i mean, i am just trying to help you going ALL the way in your logic, when tagging this game. …. yes, and i just realize, it also has different colors in it. we also should tag it “red”, “green”, “blue”, “yellow”, “purple” and so on. maybe even “can die” or “moving” or “jump”, since this is something that the character can do.
on the contrary i do not understand what is the logic behind tagging it “platformer” and “puzzle”. i mean – what crazed out users do stupid stuff like that?
and who is responsible for what tags are there available anyways? why are there “platformer” and “puzzle” tags but none for “red”, “green”, “blue”, “yellow” and “purple”? so i almost have to be glad that there is a tag for “elephant”, right? oh thank you!!! thank you! (you ilogically thinking retards.)

but – oh no – no tag for “human” or “person”!!! how do i tag all the games where the chracter is human? are you crazy? how could you miss that?

at least this game was tagged with “good music” and “funny” since this something very objective, something that has nothing to do with the personal taste of a user (like “platformer” or “puzzle” – you morons!). lets go and tag all funny games with “funny”. that has not been done thoroughly. btw, in case of a lot of games, where i read the tag “funny” i am convinced now, that they are funny, whereas i considered them to be complete bullshit before. it getting tagged “funny” really helped me to see it in a more objectiv way.

so something good is done with the tagging system. but it needs improvement. and people to think more logically.
and may i say, i am glad the software designers, user interface designer and all those people who work at kongregate, showed thoughtfulnes and vision as to their best ability when designing the tag system. and i am really glad that they prevent user from adding more crappy tags like “micro payment” or “micro payment free” or “first person” or something like that. and it was so good that you didn’t moderate the process of adding all the tag-words. so good, that you just said “now it is enough” at some point. it is perfect. all the important tags are there. “penguin” is there, and “one button”, “tycoon”, “cute” and “girl”. “cute” being the most important of all. i can’t even imagine how many games are tagged with “cute” and how people found games with … something cute … in it, before that tag existed. now it is easy! i go to the tag index and simply select the tag i am interested in and get all games with that tag listed. … oh … never mind. no one needs that tag index anyways. so i type the tag word into the search field and get a link to “Kongregate has Cute games that you can play online for free.” Great, and then i still can not imagine how many there are, because if i click on the “last”-link, it says “1 to 15 from the end” – LOOOOOOOOL. but back to the topic of important tag words: maybe you can just let us add “blue”, since that is the color of the elephant? just this one color. that would make sense.

but i do not want to hail you designers and all those “elephant”-taggers too much. i don’t want to appear like a slimy fish.

i just want to ask one more thing – i mean, can it be, i am the only one who noticed? – did anyone notice that no game is tagged with “game”? hello? i mean THAT would be the right and most logic way to use the tag system. since any logic of using the tag system seems to be as good as any other one, i should be allowed to do that, right?

we need a lot more animal tags. and colors (red, green, blue, yellow, purple). but at least “blue”! since all elephant-story tags are tagged with “elephant” which is correct, but i can not tag it with “blue” although the fact, that the elephant always is blue (except in levels with red light). what the hell? that would also be correct. “small” would also be a good tag. the elephant is very small! except for one level, when it is big. so also a “big”-tag would make sense. i would then use both, the “small” and the “big” tag on that game. it would both be correct and using both, would make sense.

so, can i picture game mechanics as follows: an emitter of intensity 100, builds a “column” of creeper of height 100 above it every second. the creeper then “pouring” down from that height and spreading to adjacent spaces, if there is creeper of lower height, etc … . the map just shows different creeper level until an altitude of 6. it is like vertically “cut off” at an altitude of 6. calculations are made for higher creeper too, but the player does not see that?

if so, then the question is, how shell explosions are implemented. does an explosion clear all creeper, no matter what height, at the space of impact or just a certain height of creeper, with the rest falling and pouring down?

i also had like 40 drones, but did not use them, because the mortars were doing the job perfect as long as the game was running. but later i sent some into deep creeper to have fun watching the impacts, but the impacts had no effect to the creeper visible to me. this goes along with the assumption that calculations are made for creeper of higher altitude, but just effects to creeper up to altitude 6 are visible to the player. so drone bombs do not clear all creeper at the space of impact. if mortar shells are the same as drone bombs, then they don’t either.

the conclusion would be, that there was “a lot” of creeper, three rows of mortars could handle an emission of 400, but that there would have been an emission level (or height) that would be massive enough to overpower the defense.

if these conclusions are right, then it is clear to me. thanks.

oh man, it can. you are assuming that the creeper is a perfect fluid, evening different heights of creeper instantly. but it merely is a very “thick” fluid, pouring down from height slowly. like honey or better to think of cooler lava.

if you go to survivor mode and look at the creeper level at the emitters, it is 6. and it stays 6. growing, but with decreasing heights from there to the verges of the creeper mass.

alright, so i play a map where 5 emitters are on the left and my base is on the right side. lets call it a horizontal or east-west map. i built reactors to produce 47 energy and i set up a line of blasters and 3 lines of mortars which consume 32 energy in total.

then i switched to survival.

i set the browser-tab to background, so the game does not lag so much and it is playing for it self for some hours. emission is at 400 now, but there is no progress for the creeper at all.

i’ll let it play until i go to bed, but the thought creeps up my brain, that emitters can not emit more creeper than up to altitude 6 is filled. right now the frontline is a vertical wall of creeper. mortar explosions to the right, creeper of altitude 6 to the left. maybe in this setting it does not matter how much more the emission climbs?

i think i remember showing wood some calm advanced reactions (like eating a kebab in a controlled manner – lol). after 5 reactions he shouted “you call that results?!?!” and left. later he and a grunt came and shot my highly conditioned zombie. she already could stroke a cat, without trying to eat it and i was teaching her to give me a bj. at that point i decided to kill wood and all my human companions.
and after feeding their limbs to a new subject, and seeing all its reactions, i am stuck at 99,3% and can not find anything else to do. no reactions left, nothing to research. HELP?!?
