Topic: Off-topic / Itunes/Comp help (solved!?)

I’m having a problem moving my itunes folder to my external hard drive, and I could really use some help. I’m doing what they do here but it isn’t working. Whenever I move it, it “forgets” that it was moved, and it thinks everything still belongs in the default location. It then tries to reinstall my itunes library back onto my computer, and if I don’t let it reinstall the 20 gigs of music and apps, then it’ll say that it can’t find the stuff.

Any help/suggestions?

Ye’ olde edit: I just realized that because I constantly plug/unplug my external hard drive, I think that Itunes forgets where it is when I unplug it. I think that’s the problem.

Basically, you feel that the changing of the website has to do with the changing in how much you enjoy it.
I think the real problem is that you yourself are changing, and you must find new things about the website to love, or learn to appreciate it in different ways.

I’m using Adblock, but I disable it on websites when they have good and modest ads, because I understand that they need to be there so the internet will be kept free, but there’s no chance that I’ll disable it if it has annoying advertisments in it.

Same goes to YouTube, Google, Facebook, and every other website that uses annoying ads.

Kong doesn’t choose the ads, the add hosting company (IIRC, Google Ads) does.

To clarify, all I was suggesting what when a thread is locked almost immediately after it’s posted and all the posts are removed, the thread as well just be deleted since it has zero reason for being there.

But I see wast you mean about mods/admins still needing it for evidence, and I support your suggestion of hiding them.
Personally, I think even some locked threads have value (news threads by admins that are immediately locked to keep it clean and neat, or even just threads that went out of control), but these ones that are just 2 or 3 posts, all of which are deleted, would be nice to have hidden.

Suggestion to all Forum Mods

If a thread is made that’s JUST a troll thread that’s so bad it has to be locked, and is locked with only a few posts in it (often just the OP), it’s probably best to just delete it and not lock it and remove all the posts.

I can’t count how many times I’ve seen locked threads cluttering up the first couple (oftentimes even the first) pages of a forum, maybe one every page or two. Even more in Off Topic. But that’s not that bad, even locked threads still have something to contribute because there can always be something to get from it. But when there’s a locked thread with only one or two posts, and ALL of them are removed by mods/admins, I don’t see why it isn’t just deleted.

Here’s an example, just recently someone made a thread on the main Kongregate forum called the “Osama Bin Laden Song”, the OP was deleted by an admin and it just had the generic “This post has been removed by a moderator or an admin” text, and nothing else, due to it being locked. Yet it wasn’t deleted, and the title was still the same. Just feels like it’s cleaner and accomplishes the goal better by just deleting that stuff, since there is ZERO value in anything in those threads, due to there only being a couple of posts, often all of them being deleted.
