I’m actually working on putting together something like this on a separate site (without the actual trading aspect of course).

@chetanaik
The problem is that there ARE other trick questions similar to this in the game, so I wouldn’t have known. Regardless, it’s mixing different systems of units., and intuitively, pound means a unit of force to me rather than mass.

I don’t think you’re getting the point of this. Weight != mass.

Same thing here, I remember it was about the Winter Olympics. I didn’t know the answer so I just assumed the question was right.

Google says that Chicken Breast has 172 calories per 100g, and Sour Cream has 193 calories per 100g. You seem to be correct.

Banana has 358mg of Potassium per 100 grams; mango has 168mg of Potassium per 100 grams.

@XBeast
In regards to pounds being used as a measurement of force, tell me that I weigh the same number of pounds on Earth and the Moon.
And yes, we make up questions just to complain about them…Obviously they’re in the game if we’re here arguing about them and posting them for others to understand what the “correct” answer should be.

@jocaypa/Kevlar33

Again, another example of ambiguous/misleading questions. It depends what definition of length you are using. Length can either be one of the dimensions of the base (124.9 meters) or the longest dimension of an object (324 meters). In this case you were given no specific information as to which definition was required, but from the answer it seems it wanted the base measurement.

@miconazole
I’m not wrong. There’s a difference between pound-mass and pound-force, and the question was deliberately ambiguous. When I weigh myself in pounds, it’s measuring the gravitational pull on my mass. If you think it’s the same thing, then tell me that I weigh the same on the Earth and Moon. Furthermore, it’s not a “stupid bit of trivia” – this has practical real life applications which you are apparently too ignorant to understand and can only label as “total rubbish”.

Yes, but as an American who selected United States as his country in game, pound should be referring to weight rather than mass.

Ounce != Ounce-force
@bloodnok
I am American. Regardless, the question is mixing different systems of units, which makes it ambiguous.

Today they’re the same sport; the question you had about table tennis is correct.

Generally a pound is referred to as a unit of force, since it would need to specifically be written as a pound-mass (lbm). Either way the question is ambiguous.

I saw a factually incorrect question/answer today, thought I’d start a thread for people to report them.

What is the largest unit of mass?
- Ounce
- Gram
- Something I forget
- Pound
The correct answer was marked as Pound.

The correct answer is ounce; the pound is not a unit of mass but rather of force.

One ounce is equivalent to 28 grams.
