Client-side issue, you got your cards. It just never showed up. Look at your cardpool.
I did even if that was the case, i would still be missing 1 shard
Checking your fansite page ….
It looks like you picked up the following cards in the past day or two:
- Support Buzzer x2
- Myrmidon
- Flash Tank
- Waver Lander
- Grit Horn
- Gatling Runner
- Javelin x2
- Centimani
- Bolster Auto x2
- Bloat Wasp
- Infernal Scout
- Phase Lancer
- Plasma Extractor
- Fane Guardian
- Fire Wing x2
- Tread Python
- Corra
- Mark of Conquest
- Mortar Tower
- Spore Pod
- Scablet
So, it looks like you opened 4 Terminus packs and finished mission 266 (where you got Scablet). It doesn’t seem like you lost any shards.

Arcade by Kongregate (Google Play Market)
HOLY CRAP!!!!!!
So I looked at my phone today and saw that Kongregate Arcade had an update. I was like, “WTF? I thought Kong abandoned this app”. But I started it up anyway, and I find that all the issues I saw with the system update I got late March are gone (at least I haven’t seen any issues in 10 minutes of playing and jumpping around games and other app functionaltiy.
It looks like this app was updated on May 10th to “resolve some crashes with Jellybean related to Bitmap recycling”.
THANK YOU KONG FOR UPDATING THIS APP!!!!!!!

[To Devs] A quick fix that will end stagnation
Originally posted by hunterhogan:

I don’t disagree with you. I religate raid rewards to those “one time” sort of rewards. You grind out the raids and you are done. There is an end point that can be targeted and tracked against. There is no “end point” for conquest.
In addition things like raids really don’t have anything that disables a player from playing. Once you get to a level where a raid is unlocked, you likly have the card pool to grind it out (maybe not a 99%+ deck but one that can get the job done). With Conquest, there were alot of players who simply coudn’t cut the mustard on the playing field. They were not able to get the token rewards and so the gap between this player and the one that could conquest grew (making it even harder to break into the upper tier).
Giving players that are unable to conquest a partial reward (that allows them to grow to a point where they could participate) is a good strategy. Allowing players that HATE this aspect of the game a way to also gain partial rewards so they don’t feel like they are being left behind and quit is also not a bad idea.
I do agree with you that the current reward structure does not encourage conquest (in fact it discourages it). I just feel that with such a powerful and ongoing (no end in site) reward like Tokens, there needs to be some other way to earn these (if at a lesser degree).

[To Devs] A quick fix that will end stagnation
While I do like conquest (it really is the main reason I continue to play the game), I am not a fan of using unique rewards to “force” a player to participate in a specific area of the game. One time or temporary rewards (such as Apollo/Hadies/Viper and event points respectivly) are not so bad, but I think the devs did a good thing by allowing you to get tokens from wars in addition to conquest.
However, I don’t think these need to be seperate but equal. I do not think that you should get as many tokens from FWs as you do from Conquest. Personally, I would like to see a max of 4 tokens per day from FWs (assuming 8 per day from conquest). This still allows those that hate conquest or smaller factions that can’t conquest to get the reward (just not at the same level).
Right now though high level factions have no reason (and are actually punished) when they conquest. This should not be true (espeically if the devs want to see this area of the game grow).

Speedy Hive is not fun
I have neither Enrichment Vial (not a single one) nor a fistfull of Ramble Rovers (I only have 1). I admit I was getting frustrated with trying to build a deck for this achiement. I don’t use a sim nor the fansite. On paper I figured a few ways to get the achievement but the dice never seemed to roll in my favior.
I have to thank Titan2009 for the assist on this. I believe he simed a deck for me that I am not sure I would have thought of on my own any time soon.
Why am I saying this? While I am no deck building god, I do consider myself fairly good at it (I have been playing the game for over 2 years now). This was the first mission/achievement/conquest ever that I got help from a sim on. I guess if you have enrichment vial it is likly alot easier, but it can be quite a challenge. So I empothize with those feeling frustrated with this achievement.
For those intrested, Titan’s deck he got me was:
Lord Silus: Heart of Corruption, Ramble Rover, Revolution, Junk Transport, Rapier
I should point out that the only thing to augment is the Revolution, and with the HoC and Ramble Rover you aquire quite the flanking force. So even without anything to cleanse the stun, you do quite well. What I was mainly trying to do was to use a cleanse commander and TIs (and later CGs) with some hornet drones and Gene Splice (and this just never really worked).
Hope this helps (and thanks again Titan2009 for the help).

[survey for vets/hardcores] Question 2
If you consider me a vet….
I reconize that the Fansite is a great tool. I believe that it is something that really helps new players. I also think it is well run and well presented. While I was raiding, I enjoyed the update functionality that I used to do manually by updating my thread post. I also like how it brings people together who enjoy to puzzle solve/deck build.
Having said all of that, I have only ever used it for raid advertising and when I was done with raids (over a year ago) I have not since returned to it. The reason is is that I also like to puzzle solve decks (which is why I like conquest so much). However by going to the Fansite (unless it has changed significantly since my last visit) you more or less are given 99% prefab decks to use on the missions. This just takes all the fun out of it for me. For this reason, I don’t use the Fansite anymore. The only reason I did was for raid functionality.
I mean no disrespect here to sss1. Like I said, he makes a great tool. I just don’t use his tool for the same reason I don’t use sims.
-Pip
PS – I do admit to reciently getting help from Titan2009 on the new Speedy achievement. I don’t have enrichment vial or a fistfull of Ramble Rovers, and was finding the challenge frustrating. I believe Titan used a sim for me to help me get a deck (which I had to admit was a briliant deck that I am not sure I would have come up with on my own).

[DEV] Small conquest suggestion for next week.
FYI – since the devs are also asking for input from the larger player base, I am reposting my feedback on this idea to this thread (this post was also made in the consortium forum reciently).
Originally posted by Pip: (in the Consortium Form)
On paper this idea seems good. Force movment on the map to claim rewards, implement a similar requirement as Faction Wars have…. Seems good.
In reality this will likly hurt things. Here is why…
Conquest is a zero sum FP game now. If a faction participates in conquest, more likly than not they are at the level of tiles they can successfully defend (or higher). That means in order to collect rewards, they have to either abandon a tile if they are at 31 (and btw, they can only abandon 1 per day so this already sucks for those with 31 and aren’t getting attacked) or you will be forced to streach yourself and leave a tile weakly defended so that it is easily taken. Either way, net zero FP.
Now most of the factions on the map now are those that don’t get full token rewards for FWs (read below 18). Forcing them to wage 2 conquests per day will use up their stamina and not allow these smaller factions to engage in faction wars. This results in them not gaining levels and so being left behind.
The alternative is that factions simply save their stamina by tile swapping with a neighbor. They each win 2 conquests, problem solved. They can now do faction wars to gain FP, but the map is still effectivly stagnated.
Those that are getting full token rewards from faction wars will simply ignore this new rule and continue to do faction wars (and their tiles will stagnate (or get taken, which only drags out a bit of activity before stagnation again).
If you are going to force factions to spend (in some cases most of) their stamina on Conquest to get the points, then you need to provide them with a way to grow their faction doing so. This means allowing faction point gains for conquest (which opens up the same problems we had before with tile swapping for FP gains).
The alternative here is to add a 3rd bar for conquests (as suggested in my other thread). This allows factions to conquest and also war at the same time (allowing them to do their 2 conquests and to do faction wars for FP). This also has the side benifit of giving people another resource that they will feel like they are wasting if they don’t use it, so it will encourage factons that aren’t conquesting now to do so.
I know that the devs have been against this “3rd bar” in the past, and I can see why. However at this stage (unless there is some greater plan to merge CQ and FW in the near term that I am not privy to) I don’t see a downside to it. The gold and XP you get from both is minimal (so it isn’t like you are significantly changing the gold earning potential of a player). Also conquest tokens is an either/or… so no big change there. FP for conquest is zero sum, so with this may have incremental growth based on map resets, it won’t change the overall rate that factions grow FPs.
I would welcome disenting opinions to mine.

[BUG] Opponent's chaosed mimic results in summon on opponent's side
Originally posted by Cydonia_NZ:
I was in arena earlier, and the opponent’s chaosed DNA Assimilator mimiced his own Kazzerrot. However, instead of summoning a Serak on my side, it summoned one on his side.
Is this intentional? If it is, why does my chaos benefit the other team more?
I can’t be sure if my troops got a rally all 2, but I think it would make sense if I got the benefits of the mimic.
Any opinions?
Choas says:
Choas:
If an enemy Assult unit were to use an Activation skill that would target one of its enemies, it targets an ally or itself instead. (The skills used by Chaosed unit cannot be Evaded)
So, you choas’ed his unit with mimic. Instead of targeting you with mimic it targeted his own troops (which could not be evaded). That mimic copied the Rally All Xeno 2 and the Summon Serak. Since neither of those skills would normally target an enemy assult, they were not effected by Choas. Now, if the mimic would have copied the Serak, it would have performed the strike 1 on his own unit (since that would have normally targeted an enemy assult).
Does this help?

[BUG?] Flare of Courage Cleanse
Originally posted by MSUSpartan3096:
This may be a dumb question, but why won’t Flare of Courage cleanse a jammed assault unit?
Example: I have 4 Grim Spectres in play, 1 of them is jammed and all of their countdown timers have reached zero. I also have 1 flare of courage active.
On my turn only 1 unit has any status effects that I could see (the jammed GS). Only 3 of my units attack and the jam is never removed.
Is this a bug or just a game mechanic I am unaware of?
Dumb question number 1: was FoC active?
Dumb question number 2: Are you sure you just aren’t seeing the jam animiation on an unjammed unit? Look for the small icon on the card that shows jammed status or hover over and see if the unit has the jammed status. Did the GS attack?
Originally posted by Maharid:
The true question is: Can Cleanse target a uint without status effect on when there is at least one with it?
Cleanse only targets a unit that has a status effect that can be cleansed. So it is like heal (heal needs a hurt unit to target and proc, cleanse needs a “dirty” assult to target and proc).

Hmm… should I follow this untitled link? Some things that it could be:
- Based on the title of the thread, it might have to do with DP…. meaning dead pixles
- Might it be a subtitled Hitler clip talking about hidden, subliminal messages in this card (specifically to do with the dead pixles)?
- Might it be a clip actually pointing out what the hell darkfang is talking about in his OP (because I still don’t honestly know what he is talking about)?
- Is it that rip rolled vidio that I know Rets has used in the past?
- Is it a series of flashes and psyco-tropic, mind controling images that is going to brainwash me to catfase WB, quit the faction, and rejoin Prex?
- Something else even more sinister?
Yea…. I am not going to risk it…Although, rejoining Prex might not be all that bad

Here is the cropped area that you are talking about:

Here is what I just edited (to zooom in on what I think you might be talking about…. but honestly your cropped picture is sort of crappy so I might have the wrong spot here):

So are you talking about those different colored dots that are on the nose?

Eliminate Common cards
I don’t know. I think the commons play a big role in sealed tournaments. I believe they do also play a role in select conquest/quest effect battles. This later is how I have suggested to the devs continue to leverage commons. In a very specific situation (such as a conquest effect like mimic) they have value.
Besides just like the penny/nickle, if you eliminate the common card can the uncommon one be far behind?

50 turn rule should be abolished?

I am not sure when you believe this might have happened. As far as I am aware, the limit was always 50 turns. It has certinaly been 50 turns since the game hit Kong.

I heard a report
Sigh.
If you read the message from DaWayne33, you will see that DNA’s account was not banned. Maybe the confusion is the way the text gets cut off there on the right. If you scroll to the right you will see that it really says:
Originally posted by DaWayne33 in a message to dnaimagery:
We have heard reports that you are attempting to sell your account. Selling accounts is not allowed and can result in the account being banned from Tyrant.
So it seems that the devs just sent a quick note to the person being accused to remind them that selling accounts is against the ToS (and the Kong ToS as well) and can result in a ban of the account (not that this would make much difference to DNA if he did sell it as it would be someone else’s banned account at that point).

More likly than not, if you haven’t won by turn 50 you either won’t win or will win only because some lucky combination of variables falls into your favior. Said another way, you need to design a deck to win by turn 50 (not one that triggers enough random effects to win eventually).

Questions from a Noob
Been looking around the forumn the past few days and got many of my questions answered, but still have some. Does anyone know the answers to the following:
- on my profile (the picture that shows my equiped inventory) there is a square on the bottom left named “Med.”. What is this for?
- Where can I see my Charm, Honor, Defense (or is it Armor), Strength (or is it Power) stats?
- Any way to sort the friends list (also the farm friends list)? Or any way to somehow make the group you put a player into visibile via icon in some way?
- Is the only purpose of Shadow Crystals for the daily quest where you get 8 or 10 or however many?
- What is a “New Stopping Point”? This is apparently a reward for a few quests in additon to a guild contribution.
- How many Bounty Quests am I allowed? I thought it was 20 but the past two days it was letting me do 30. I had done 27 so far today but now it got reset back to 20 before I could do 30. Just wondering if I did something to increase it temporarly.
- What is the units on the “Guild Member Fee”? Gold? Contribution? Or is this something that is taken out of Guild Wealth?
- What are ancient spirits used for?
- Is there any point to energize your own Tree? Or is it better to just let others do it for you to increase friendlyness? If you do it yourself you get “Energy +1” instead of a Friendlyness boost. Is this the Energy that is used to move your town?
- Is the only point of town Energy and the mystic gate to move your town? Or is there something else you can do with energy?
- Is anyone else generally confused / anoyed about the fact that some things reset at midnight server time and some things reset at 5am?
- Is there a way to have your character moved to a different server? I picked a local one origionally, but now I want to change it so that the event times coinside with the time I have time to do them.
Thanks in advance,
Pip

XML schema? pretty please?

I know this probably won’t help, but I thought that this was perfectly valid.
For example you can have multiple LI elements within an OL element. You can have multiple P elements in a BODY element. I know that I am talking about HTML here, but coded correctly (with the structure seperate from the formatting) valid HTML is valid XML (this was the basis behind XHTML 1.0 and 1.1 before it was abandoned for HTML 5). And I could use this to easily make the example.
Sounds like cate, sss, and Moraku all got your question answered though.

This is not necessarly true….
Refresh happens at the end of a round. What if a unit with refresh has 1 hp left and is facing a counter unit. It would be nice to get it healed so it would survive the counter and refresh at the end of the round. I agree that usually healing a unit with refresh is a waste, but just like cleanse and choas order things can be argued either way.
