It doesn’t seem that .exe files are one of the type that are allowed by Kongregate (you can find the list of the supported formats here ). In fact, it says there that Kong has no plans to support executables.

That was quoted from the banned user’s wall where it was put there by an admin. If you have some additional data that the admins don’t know about, some extenuating circumstance that they have not yet been made aware of, then you can try to email them at support@kongregate.com. However it was an admin that permanently banned you (they are the only ones that can). That is usually their final say in the matter unless they are provided with new data they didn’t have when they issued the ban (which usually doesn’t happen).

Well, I don’t see your profile bar at the top of the page, but it seems like the webpage is scrolled all the way up (also chat isn’t connecting). Both signs of malware or an ad-on/extension that isn’t working. And while the ad is placed normally, it does not seem like an ad that would make its way onto Kong.

I am going to suggest that you download a malware removal tool (such as Malwarebytes or Spybot) and remove anything that is found by them. Also disable any ad-ons or extensions you have across your 3 browsers (or at least the one you are using right then).

Please let us know if that fixes your problem and if not if the screen has changed at all by doing that.

Living in the past is a bad idea. The account and the time you put into it is a sunk cost. You would be wiser to spend your time doing something else (if you still want to play on Kong, then start a new account).

You admit it was wrong, you accept blame… that means you also accept the punishment. Saying you accept the blame but then going on to say that you don’t want the punishment that goes with it is a bit silly.

I tried to follow those links, but the “documents are only available to the owner”. Just take a screen shot, upload it to http://imgur.com or something, and link it that way. Much easier.

Topic: Technical Support / Query concerning account deletion and privacy concerns

Why do you care about having your account deleted? What does it matter that there is a user called “SIEGEX” on Kongregate? How does this harm you in any way?

If you want to remove any personal information on this site (and there isn’t much to start with on Kong) just delete it from your account or change it to gibberish. If you don’t want to be tempted to log in anymore, request your account be perma-banned.

If you do this I don’t see what actually deleting your account actually gets you or why you should be upset that it can’t be done.


To answer your question on why accounts can’t be deleted, it is a technical limitation with the site. Your user created posts, comments, rated games, etc. Each one has a reference back to your account. These links would get all screwed up without the account they link back to. Then if your username gets selected again in the future it would mess up that user. This is why accounts are not deleted.

You are free to make another account it says. However this may be a blessing in disguise based on your post…

I am not sure what game that is, but you will want to contact the devs of that game to have them fix whatever is wrong with the kred purchase functionality. If it was Angel’s Wrath, you might want to post on the multiplayer games forum or message the game’s devs directly.

You will want to contact the Contract Wars devs about any in game purchases or Kred → in game currency conversions that went wrong. If the devs don’t fix the issue, and your issue was with a kred → game currency purchase you can contact kreds@kongregate.com

When you reincarenate, you start at level 1 with all your stuff gone (other than those items that are specifically permanent).

If you are playing on a handheld device and your issue isn’t that you are starting at level 1, but that you have a totally new character, I would make sure that you are linked to your Kong account.

If you play on your PC, I would make sure that you are logged into the same website that you normally play on (ie you can’t use your Facebook or DisruptorBeam account on the Kongregate website).

If none of these are your issue, I would report your issue to the devs via their ticketing tool at http://support.disruptorbeam.com

Topic: Kongregate / stop adding more ads!

My guess is that the OP has adware or malware on his/her computer that is causing “pop-ups” (Kong doesn’t have any pop-up ads).

My advice would be to download Malwarebytes or Spybot (or both) and remove anything that they find.
