Why? Any unit can be a ranged attack unit. Just equip a wand.

As pointed out, all classes have the ability to heal. You can use potions or you can branch out and take some skills in the monk specialty.

Every class has their BIG benefits. For monks it’s healbomb, wizards have their multiple stun abilities (if you don’t think THAT is a big benefit, you’ve never spent an entire PvP round stunned by the 2 wizard skills and a duckray), and warriors have huge armor bonuses and massive damage per hit potential.

You just need to pick the one that works best for you.

Are you sure that it’s really above their level? There appears to be some kind of a disconnect between Kong and the game that causes players on your friends list to appear at the level they were when they were added regardless of how many levels they have gained since.

I’ve got one friend that was a level 38 when I added him, but has since made 40. He still shows as 38 on the friends list in the game.

That’s exactly my point. That’s why it needs to be an in-game feature.

Looks like they got it fixed sometime in the last 2 hours. They need an easier problem reporting method for things like that. A button or screen in the game itself. Maybe a page like the leaderboard.

No. No it’s not. I tried not only refreshing the frame, but refreshing the entire page, using a different browser, and trying both browsers after clearing all cache, cookies, flash cookies, java data and flushing my dnscache as well just to be sure.

It’s not working.

Topic: Technical Support / Can't use Kreds on Backyard Monsters

Not sure if this is a Kixeye problem or a Kong problem, but figured I’d mention it here.

Currently cannot buy Shiny in Backyard Monsters.

The screen comes up normally in the game to select the “package” you want, but when you click the button to pay for it with Kreds, nothing happens. It just sits there and the Kongregate screen for using your kreds never comes up.

Tried it in both the latest Firefox version and the latest IE8 version. I have the latest Adobe flash for both browsers.

Went to purchase some shiny to buy some packing skills increases and it won’t let you buy any. I’ve got the kreds, and the shiny purchase page comes up, but nothing happens when you click the “Pay with Kongregate Kreds” button, nothing happens.

Did this get broken during the last update, or has Kong and Kixeye had a falling out so that Kreds aren’t accepted any more?

What up with that?

I think I’ve put the 2 red balls that I have in every combination on those pedestals and neither small gate is opening.

Okay, I must be overlooking something. In the Ruins area, when you’re in the dungeons to retrieve the red balls, how the heck do you get to the other side of the room to retrieve the second ball in each dungeon? I’ve tried every wall in those rooms, but I can’t find anything to let me through.

Here’s a couple things that I’ll throw my 2 cents in on.

1. Seriously reconsider drop percentages for monsters. 4 hours to get 3 spider emblems to get to the next step in a quest is taking “grinding” to the level of the ridiculous. Particularly when you find out you need 6 more for the next step. Seriously. There is nothing at all fun about that. I almost quit the game right there.

2. More gold, or at least more weapons/equipment choices for using silver.

3. A better way to select enemies to attack in combat. With the overly large size of some, it can be impossible to target the smaller enemies mixed in with them that are casting debuffs on you.

So you feel playing the game for an hour is an adequate assessment?

I’ve been on there for almost 4 years now and still log in 3 or 4 times a day.

Definitely not for somebody with a short attention span though. It takes time to develop yourself.
