How about a 30 second cooldown only during the last 10 minutes of each match. Then players who want to dump energy can just do that for most of the match, but last-minute sniping is not possible anymore.

Just open more oak packs, and slowly start fully upgrading your uncommons. According to this thread, it’s not even clear whether silver packs are more efficient than oak packs for getting uncommon cards, so you’re not wasting your money when buying more oak packs (though it might feel that way, since you’ll get a lot of (almost) useless commons)

Personally, I have spend 100 kreds to unlock silver + gold packs, and I’ve been buying silver packs, and I’m almost done fully upgrading uncommons. But again: oak packs are about as efficient (though you will get a little less scarce + rare cards when buying oak packs).

Odashir’s Echo mixes Endazu cards with the other cards. This of course leads to new questions about card interactions.

Could you add: the cards summoned by Song of Spring (and presumably also with Grave Contract, Underworld Barge and Hedge Guardian) are not played, and do not activate when you have an Overseer in play.

Actually, if the counting has been done correctly, then only 20 dodges out of 130 is overwhelming evidence that the dodging of Goat Outrider is bugged. The probability that when flipping a coin 130 times, you get 20 or fewer tails (misses) is 1.5*10^-16 or 0.000000000000015%. That’s an incredible small probability (according to xkcd it is more likely to die from a meteorite impact during a single coin flip than that you get this result).

Does “Restock X” always restock unupgraded cards?

If you have lackeys out, can Gretta retaliate multiple times after a single attack?

How do other cards interact with a 0 HP Golem or Yarakeen? Does Malediction count them as ally? Does Apothecary or Consolidate heal them? I think the answer to all these is “no”, as I just had a game with a 0 HP Golem and an Apothecary in play, and at the start of my turn my Golem only healed 1 HP.

Which attacks count as a “Hero attack” for Serpent Altar? Clearly attacking with recourses does. Does Mogesh ability count? Does Gretta’s retaliation count? Are there other effects which count?

Also, sometimes multiple effects happen at the same time, and it is important which effects are executed first. Things I’ve noticed so far (“<” means “is executed before”)
EDIT: It seems that timing is based on the order in which you played the cards

Gilded Scribes < Argoreth Flower and Gilded Warriors (and probably all/most other Endazu cards)
Boar Fetish < Mogesh (so if all your creatures are killed by retaliation after Boar Fetish attack, you won’t sacrifice a creature)

Usury < Bureaucrat (according to TheSench)

Are there other such “timing conflicts”?

Note: your formula for multiple percentages is wrong. It’s

{n choose x}*%^x(1-%)^(n-x). ({n choose x} is a binomial coefficient)


However, I doubt that calculating these probabilities are very useful. With serpent altars you should just use the expected value of serpent altars activating, which is just n/4 every attack. For all effects which do not stack, where it only matters that at least one activates, use that it will be a little less than just adding the percentages.

You only have Scroll of Petals to generate mana in your deck (Hedge Guardian should hardly give any mana to do if your opponent plays decently). That’s not very much for Jesmai, because you can hardly use Jesmai’s ability. Also, there seem to be a lot of quite expensive cards in your deck, I doubt that you will be able to buy 1 card a turn.

Here’s my Jesmai deck.
(incantation) Behold the Veil x2
(incantation) Halting Rebuke
(inscription) Warding Circle x2
(inscription) Scroll of Petals
(anima) Argoreth Flower x2
(anima) Gilded Warrior
(anima) Gilded Scribes

The idea is to have a interceptor and an anima (preferably Argoreth Flower) on the board in your second turn.
An additional advantage of this deck is that it consists of 9 commons and 1 uncommon, so it should be rather easy to upgrade the cards.

They give a random resource on play, which can be really important if you have a deck full of sacrifice + redraw.
Compared to gold panners, a random resource is often better than a coin, so that’s why you can’t feed them.

That said, I agree they are weak, but there is definitely a place for them in some decks.

@irockgood: they’re not duplicates, they are just found twice because they both satisfy the description “button” as “hunt”. For example if you search for
you see that every badge is shown twice. But the fact that they are shown twice is indeed a bug (I think).

To start: Senekis, thanks for making such an awesomely useful game!

I few suggestions:
My main suggestion is a fifth option in the browse-screen (next to earned, difficulty, genre and whatever you call the last one), namely: "earned by " <enter>, with options “any”, “eaned by” or “unearned by”. This way you can see all badges some other player has, but you haven’t (by selecting “unearned” for yourself and “earned by” for the other player). I think that would be an awesome extra feature; hopefully you agree :-)

Other things I think that are nice:
-On a badge screen (so the screen where you see all information about 1 badge), make the other unearned badges of the same game clickable (to go to that badge’s page).
-In the stats screen, I’d like to see what percentage I have of all points which can be obtained from badges (I know I can calculate that with the information given on that page, but I’m lazy XD)
-Maybe some “browse games” screen, where you can browse for games (with badges) instead of badges. And then (for example) the following sorting options:
any/no badges earned from this game/some badges earned from this game/all badges earned from this game
some option to control badge difficulties in the game.
This last idea maybe doesn’t add really much, but it will give a nice view of the amount of games where I haven’t earned any of the badges.

I have another way to deal with the lvl 8 player:

It has a few advantages over some other proposed decks:
-It’s less expensive (upgraded cure and poison heal are expensive)
-It’ll take less long, since you kill him before he’s out of cards.
-You (probably) won’t run out of cards yourself

The idea is simple: Attack removal or Stat wipeout everytime he plays permamonster. Regeneration to regain lost hp (which goes so fast that you usually end the game with 200 hp), and the Dragons to kill him (slowly, but in a steady rate).
He can only kill the dragons with his ice bolts (1 needed for flame dragon and 2 needed for alien dragon), so they usually survive pretty long.

I won with this deck 6 out of 7 games now. Once I had bad luck, since I didn’t have enough attack removals/stat wipeouts.
