Go to that new game when you have facebook. Own the newbies as hard as possible. Find the best ways to backdoor and show the Players how bad that game can be!

We have spend a lot of $$$ while they already focussed on that new game and they never told us that they stopped supporting Vorp! in the past. WE had to find that out by ourselfs. And i think they have to pay for it!

I already did that. Found the OP ship, abuse it along with the teaming feature.

Anyway, DnT is a great new game if you like vorp, yes it is on FB and might be a hassle, but it is only in beta. After talking to a few devs about future updates and coming soon content, I learned that they will team up with Zynga at some point and hopefully move off Facebook just like vorp.

no R3, starting at 10pm, its almost impossible to get a game. Most of the time there’s only 4 players in room, sometimes i join and i am the only player online. So, NO, we dont have games all day long.

ok so not allll day long, but i was on last night past 10pm and was still getting games. I actually helped some new players believe it or not that wanted to learn the game because they enjoyed it

Don’t quite know how to disprove that, cause it would probably be chocolate.

I wish the devs would come back and at least tell us their plans for this game rather than leaving all of us who have put any amount of money into the game in the dark.

Are you going to ruin the game by going through every ship that can be used well? Yes some will agree it is overpowered, but at the same time you can’t actually expect the developers to change this ship at this point. Yes Ant, Undu and Clank can be considered all around powerful ships but that doesn’t mean that they are overpowered. I think what you are doing is absolutely awful. It doesn’t help the game and only deteriorates it. I think you should just play the game and if you get placed against people who are good in one of those ships avoid them and play the game.

I mean the devs have seemed to take a backseat with this game as they haven’t showed their faces in awhile and have only done minor updates.
If they released what they were working on we could all rest easier about improvements to this great game.

Topic: Vorp! / when was the last time you've seen a fair match based on close ratings? do they exist?

The games are still very unbalanced. I have teamed with other people who I know to be good at all ratings and I used to be in the top 2 for awhile and now have dropped down not because of my bad play but because the teams that are being matched up may work in numbers but do not show true in game. I have actually slowed my play because of this and have started leaving lobbies with people who I know to be under par. Blame me for my actions but there is no way I am going to stay in a lobby where I know 2 people on my team will get a negative score.

I still think there is a serious matchmaking problem.

What you are referring to is called “Lag.” This term means your connection can’t tell where the player is and therefore ‘jumps’ around the screen, or ‘oscillates.’ Most players have experienced it. If you think the other players are using a cheat engine that is one thing but if it only happened to you get a better connection as Hurpidurp said.

I would say a guild system would be better, but you have to be level 30 to create cause if its any lower there will be too many.

I do it on forums so that people are informed about who is actually hacking. I’m sure the devs will do something about it but the reason its on here is to gather support for banning, which now seems like the most plausible solution.

I know most people have heard and some have seen a speed hacking player on this game. I don’t know how they do it and I don’t know why. The two players I know of who do this are: H2O29, and pigglypiggly2. I’m sure there are more. The point isn’t to stop them or ban them cause they can always make another account. I just wish there was some way the vorp community could help solve the problem. Any type of help would be appreciated.

I highly disagree. As someone who plays daily I witness a lot of the matchmaking flaws. I agree there needs to be a change and many of the problems can be solved by using the rating system.

With the influx in players, through the badges provided by kongregate, there certain needs to be a renewal with the way players are matched together. Most matches I would join alone I would be matched with new players and leavers while the other team was all solid veterans. I am not saying that they didn’t team up because I do that as well and seems to be the only way to move up the leaderboards unless you get lucky and team up with low rated players who are actually good.

I don’t know how you could fix this issue but as a developer of this great game I feel this is of higher priority because it might steer players away.

thats why the game is interesting cause some people have different builds. and most vets online will tell you a good build if you ask in chat.

not at all, ive seen someone new go on to get the bronze in the IW. all ships have a feel. speed/turn/attack.. that being said i feel that some ships take longer to get used to but no need to spend more than 20 matches trying to get good with a ship. after 25 matches if you can’t hold your own in that ship then its not right for you and you start over

Thats when i started playing back in August and everyone (literally everyone) agreed that Circe was OP then the nerfed it and no one even touched it lol
