Most epic fail ever
Should have mashed the “Send Next Level” button as soon as you saw the last ones getting through. Does it still work like that?

Awesome, thank you very much, Moly.
…NonLinear, I think you might need permission from the developer of the Shootorials to do that. Use them to teach a class, I mean.

Anyone know how they came up for the name, Kongregate?
It certainly stands out more. Congregate is just a word. Kongregate is a trademark :P
con-gre-gate
[v. kong-gri-geyt; adj. kong-gri-git, -geyt]
–verb (used without object)
1. to come together; assemble, esp. in large numbers.
Makes sense, being a gaming site and community, right?

Last Stand Multplayer?
Multiplayer, as in, one player as the survivors and one spawning zombies where they wanted? Or with both players fighting off larger hordes of zombies? Both could be pretty fun.

Borderlands Tips/Guide
I just finished my first playthrough of the game (about 30 hours of gameplay) and in that time I’ve come across two dark orange rarity weapons. One was a 2x explosive elemental 1.2x scoped shotgun with 89*12dmg/64.8% acc/1.0 ROF and a 16-shot magazine. A Fatal Crux, I think it was called. The other was a 4x fire elemental sniper with 279dmg/94.2%acc/1.2 ROF and a 5-round magazine, something to do with Volcano in the name. I’m still using both of them with an Eridian Lightning (green rarity), 298dmg/98.4%acc/2.5 ROF, and a 4x corrosive elemental 2.7x scoped Pestilent Revolver (orange rarity) 260dmg/89.2%acc/1.8 ROF.
I’m now a Level 36 Hunter and I’m gonna be starting the second playthrough soon. I’ll post again if I find anything good.

Steam Account recovery help
Any time – glad I could help. When I lost my password, I asked Steam if I could have a password reset if I could prove that I was the actual owner of the account. They responded fairly quickly, I think I got the reply the next morning, and they were very helpful, sending a new password in an email.

Steam Account recovery help
Log in to Steam Support (you can make a seperate account, you don’t need the actual Steam account login info.) File a ticket to Steam Support telling them exactly what happened. I lost my password once and they were very helpful, they should be able to do something for you. Good luck.

Borderlands
Thanks for that little review, Deriaz. I can’t say I haven’t been a little worried about some of the comments Borderlands has received from several critics, but this sounds just like my kind of game.
I just bought this game for PC today through Steam, and I’m waiting until the end of the month (10GB monthly bandwidth cap is preventing me from downloading it now.) I’ll be counting down the days until the 19th, which also happens to be the day I’ll be downloading my preordered L4D2. :P

Kongregate Team Fortress 2 Server
I have a seminar to go to on Friday night, a tournament on Saturday and will be busy on Sunday with an English assignment due on Monday. So, I guess I won’t be online much over the weekend. I’ll try to fit some time in, though. Thankfully, entrance/mock exams are coming up and I’ll get some study leave, which you know I won’t be using for study.
Blue managed to get the all-crit mod working, and we have the low gravity and multi-build working, of course. We will not be using these settings unless requested in a gaming session. Blue and I will take all modifications off after a session so the server is running the default settings if neither admin is online.
I’m posting this from school right now, so I’ll update my post later. :)

Kongregate Team Fortress 2 Server
I see what you mean. Yes, the engineer is Blue’s favourite class, and we made this server to have fun. We’re going to stick with three for now, but as we’re not getting a whole lot of players on the server anyway we haven’t had much feedback at all about it.
Sikesalicous, I think arranging a time would be a great idea. However, Sunday in the US is Monday in New Zealand, and I won’t be able to get online until 4pm (GMT+12(you do the math.)) Some time this weekend though, hopefully.

We are considering changing the Sentry Gun limit as 20 is a bit excessive. What does the community think of this? 3 Sentries? 5? 100? You decide.

Sikesalicous: from the Main Menu (Team Fortress 2) hit Find Servers. Go to your Favorites tab and click the “Add Server…” button. You’ll be able to enter the IP in there.

Glad you enjoyed it, Deriaz :P
And, you’re also right. Players will vote for anything they want on the server. If you want to play with the default settings, then we can easily revert to those settings.
Syphur: it is a private server, exclusive to the Kongregate community. It needs a password as to make it a public server would cost extra. Perhaps we could look into upgrading it.

Kongregate Team Fortress 2 Server
Interested?
A good friend of mine, username bluewing89, has announced that the Unofficial Kongregate Team Fortress 2 server is finally up and running! It is based in San Jose, CA, USA, and will be running 24/7.
Server address: 8.17.251.163:27015
Server password: kong
It’s a 20-slot server at the moment and will be costing us $20 per month for upkeep and maintenance. So, of course, we’re going to need donations to keep it up and running. If we can raise $40 in donations we’ll be able to upgrade the server to a 30-slot, 15-a-side server. We’ll also be able to open up other servers in the UK for you European gamers. If we cannot get enough in donations each month, the server(s) will be shut down.
It is a modified server, and we’re running with low gravity and instant respawning. Our plans are to add mods such as 100% critical hits and multiple sentry guns, etc. We are also hoping to provide the coveted class hats and unlockable items for donators. I’ll be working on a custom map as soon as possible as well. We’re always on the lookout for ideas for new modifications, so if you just thought of the best idea in the world for TF2 and you HAVE to play it, let us know!
bluewing89 and myself will be admins on the server, so if you have any queries, feel free to ask either of us. We’ll be recruiting server moderators soon as well, so if anyone’s interested, send a message our way.
Hopefully we can get some good use out of this server! A lot of us here at Kongregate own Team Fortress 2, so if you’re interested, please check it out! To connect to the server, you can open your “Favorites” tab in the Find Servers menu in game and add the server address in there.

will the world end in 2012
The Large Hadron Collider (#3, Atom Smasher) is only smashing single atoms into each other. Any black holes that would form would be absolutely tiny, and would close in a matter of milliseconds. One would assume the atoms used would be tiny, ie. Hydrogen or Deuterium (H isotope) so there is virtually no chance of anything forming, other than energy being released from the breaking of the bonds between the atoms. There was a discussion that the machine would destroy the earth in late-2008, when they started the machine. And what happened? Nothing. Why should it pose any threat in 2012?
