I have been watching Mushishi recently, and it is excellent. The background art is great (done by Green, who also did Haibane Renmei and Ergo Proxy), the score is terrific, and so is the storytelling. Highly recommended.

I don’t see any point in the human body where the basic rules of causality that govern the universe break down and give way to an independent system. If somebody could point it out, that would be nice. Until then, I will continue to believe that human thoughts and actions are determined through causality just like anything else, with evidence to support this.
