Topic: Sonny 2 / Sonny 3 - What we want!

Damn, so many haters. For the love of god, don’t post here if all you’re going to do is hate and say there shouldn’t be a Sonny 3. Constructive criticism is ok. By the way, David Orr, the maker of the Sonny soundtrack, mentioned that he is making a completely fresh soundtrack for Sonny 3 so those worries can go to rest. Also, as one of the few who got the impossible badge for Sonny 2, I have to say that the timer wasn’t that much of a problem. You just have to do things quickly, predetermine what you are about to do during the action phase so you can be ready for when it’s your turn. As well, what I tended to do was only use the Phalanx and Relentless behaviours for allies so I have the most control in what they do. I did have to re-spec a couple times so I could switch from being lightly shadow based to heavily electric based on my psychological so Re-specing isn’t as useless as one or two might’ve said. One thing that kinda bothered me was the occasional turn-skipping that happened sometimes. I’m wondering if it isn’t a glitch at all but actually caused by the differences of speeds of characters. But it isn’t mentioned in the game I think so I don’t know.

One more thing: I’m pretty sure the lack of backstory is only to keep a sense of mystery in the story. If Sonny is a trilogy, then Sonny 3 will probably fill in those blanks.

It would just be for the character (and for your domesticated gloople but that’s a completely different story) and stats doesn’t increase much from level to level. But the way to make more of a difference would be by earning awards. For example: The dirty job badge would also decrease how long you get slown down by sticky goo.

theres 2 many superpowerful glooples! you need some newbie glooples with only one or two abbilities and effects that youd usually see in normal combat like a shielded gloople that has a bony armour on the front of it (i dont no if any1 has suggested it be4 me) also ther should be more glooples that are already powerful but no combining required (2 ppl who looked at my big post you heard me right i said combining. ive given up the growing idea cuz you can have many more combinations but it does make gloople domestication a bit harder 2 make in the game) like the amalgam. Ive said this before but glooples that have already been combined a bit should pop in the screen too. they shouldnt just combine whenever they’re in the screen. it makes the game a bit more realistic. Since you guys talk about way harder enemies there should be platinum awards 4 the really rare ones

also, im perfectly ok with a campaign mod but dont have a deep story line!!! The game should go 2 the sandbox direction as much as possible.

Graphics ideas: splatters should last longer, teeth should be in biter splatters and splatters should stick to your blade until a couple swings after. which gives me the idea of an easier variation of the “impressionist” award (getting 4 different coloured splatters in 1 swing): having a certain amount of splatters on your sword @ the same time. it should be more different colours like 5 or 6 cuz that would be 2 easy if it was 4

id just prefer amorphous games if they went the sandbox direction. and since bullets are so small compared 2 a sword, they would barely do any damage and many glooples are immune 2 standard bullets. it would be only useful for causing a bit of damage before switching 2 sword

also, kamasama, ur the last prson who id think agree with me. hell, nobody ever agrees with me. im only good at seeing flaws in others ideas. my ideas are overkill and would take 4ever 2 make games if they used my ideas

It’s not just rarity that’s the problem for combining some of these glooples, Many of them are too powerful to combine without them accidentally killing each other. That’s Y I say that glooples should evolve so to upgrade, they have to grow, not combine.

I think the only possible way a sequel can be made is if someone asks permission from innocuous games for permission to make it themselves. I would miss the unique humour on the awards though :(

I would like many weps, swords: primary weps, and guns: secondary wep (I want there to be guns) There should be multiplayer areas where people can join together to take on nests and destroy the source (perhaps a special gloople called the nest mother, size varies depending on the nest advancement. [population, age, the nest mother’s domain size]) There shouldn’t be rewards for unlocking things, but for passive things like getting sales on certain things in a SHOP. Bounty should be traded for money to buy things. I’d also like it to have an rpg mixed with it too. ATTRIBUTES: SPEED: increases speed of movement, swinging and reloading. STRENGTH: increases damage. SOLIDITY: decreases time of stun, gun rickback and sword recovery FOCUS: only for certain types of special atks AGILITY: increases speed of turning around (It shouldn’t be instantaneous) There should be special atks that require certain amount of stats and levels like double swing, charge swing, power slash, thrust, the deadly disembowel and lots more. Indirect atks should count as a kill. There should be vehicles, varieties of armour (heat immunities, cold immunities, bump immunities, more hp)
But that would be pretty cheap for us with all this stuff. So glooples should evolve from combining to upgrade but to grow to upgrade so no glooples are wasted. There can also be hundreds of types of glooples like from the fuzzy to the furry (bigger and has teeth sticking out) to the woolly (even bigger with tusks sticking out) I also have a strange and crazy idea: gloople domestication. Can be either by forceful (traps) or voluntary means (helping it) It is much cheaper, faster and easier to trap it but it is harder for the gloople to like you, making it more likely for the gloople to betray you. Voluntary is the other way around. You can feed it or save it from death to increase the likeliness for it to join you. You may also buy glooples from other players who have glooples posted for sale or from a shop that randomly changes its glooples and its stats. The glooples have a simpler way to lvl up. If a gloople simply moves, it gains SPEED XP, if it attacks it gains STRENGTH XP and if it turns, it gains AGILITY XP. Since a gloople growing whenever its in your screen would be wierd, there can be glooples that have matured in some way like an oozle can pop up from the edge of the screen. Like many types of top view games, the screen would be bigger than the actual area allowed to move around in. The screen should move with you. You can buy multiple deployable walls and place them in ways to make a temporary base or camp. Different walls are stronger than others and more expensive. Different varieties of deployable turrets can be bought and placed for defence. Some auto-fire and some need to be operated to be of use. The deployment will be way more accurate from the wall and turret reward in Amorphous+. Stairs can be deployed to go on top of walls. Turrets can be placed on walls. You can also jump and strength increases the height. It needs timing to dodge things or it would be cheap. Block is also possible but you can only stay still while doing it and it only protects in front.
There could be minigames like gloople pet tournaments, where you battle your gloople(s) with another player’s gloople(s) Amount of glooples in battle can be costimized. You can surrender whenever you want to save your gloople but it counts as a loss. It can be staked or friendly. More minigames could be Gloople TD, Castle defence, Squad wars.
With this many things in it you can have epic battles. But also it would need a lot of time to make and it might need to be downloaded or bought since it would be so complex. That would be pretty funny-looking in the market: “AMORPHOUS 2! mercilessly slay multicolored blobs!”
I will update this whenever I have more ideas

Amorphous 2 or ++ doesn’t really need a story. It’s freakin killing multicoloured blobs from hell. Also, a story just makes the game too limited, being based on a storyline. Only a good intro is needed. The game can have so many possibilities. If I focus on coming up with ideas, I might end up with over 200 types of glooples, 50 melee (ex. katana, scimitar, chainsaw and weedwhacker [lolz, random…]) and 50 shooting weps (ex. pistol, uzi and nailgun) , 20 vehicles and 200 attacking skills (ex. double swing, power slash, thrust, 360 swing)

I also have ideas for glooples. I don’t care if the names suck. I just named them so you get the idea: Juvenile grinder, zappy and shock(electric glooples) drippy and splashy(water) napalmer and hi pressurized magma shooter (related to melty) gassy and stinker (poisonous gas glooples) and maybe something like the halo 3 flood that shoots spikes. That also gives me an idea: morpher

There really should be multiplayer worlds where people can meet up and attack nests. Also instead of rewards, there should be shops where with your bounty you buy weps, armor with different immunuties and guns. There really shoud be guns. I mean, the game takes place in the future, so there should be primary weps like swords, and secondary weps are guns.
