It’s called a thread, and it should be called “Check your strength”, not “check strenght.” That is, if it should have been opened at all, I imagine most people could just ask in the chat for someone to check.

A very, very nice guide Deathkknight. Well done. I like how you put the AG link up there. Though I have one addition. I think that common WotW terminology may be helpful to new players. Perhaps it might give them bad ideas instead, you decide.
Example Terms:
WotW: An abbreviation for War of The Web, which is this game.
Dingus: Stupid OP layout with no rules that some noobs use.
Researcher: One who is a dedicated researcher for their team.
Attacker: One who is a dedicated militant who attacks targets for their team, or for their own personal affairs.
Black: Pertaining to thoroughly destroying somebody’s entire empire set up.
Layout: The set up or configuration of a players empire.
Camping: Pertaining to destroying buildings nearly instantaneously after they are repaired.
Sab: Pertaining to sabotage, which is a status that reduces all enemy’s stronghold’s effectiveness to 0% for one attack.
Alt: Alternative account used to play the game. Alts may be on any site, or multiple on each. Alts generally are frowned upon as a way to gain an unfair advantage in the game and a violation of rules and website’s ToS for having more than one account on each site.
Farm: An alternative account used for the purpose of harvesting cities, or hqs. Also sometimes frowned upon.
Sab alt: An alternative account devoted to sabotaging the enemy. Often is made up of mostly spy hubs and a few cities.
Spy: An term most often misused against other players of the game who are in the same chat as the accuser. Odds are they are not conspiring against you or gathering information for their team. If you are bothered anyways It’s recommended that you communicate to trusted allies via PM.

Never have a level 9 HQ? I have 5. I say experiment and find out what works for you. After you fill your armory with weapons, you can sell it leaving a free space. Not everybody wants strongholds, or even in diamond formation; lots of things work. 2 level 9 spy hubs are useful for preventing sabotage and being able to sabotage but sometimes 3 is preferred with standard diamond stronghold layouts, I’ve even seen up to 5 used with certain layouts. Some might want to focus on offense more than defense, or vice versa. It depends on your play style, find what works. Why do researchers build spy hubs in the middle? Isn’t that were most people click fist on blind attacks? You also seem to have left out a bit about keeping attacker happiness at 100% and using level 9 weapons. I would make sure you attack with at least a cumulative hq level of 15 if you want to destroy buildings in one hit. One may also prefer to do research and keep a solid defense, which is possible. As for tips; don’t attack until you’re ready to be attacked, understand that if you have a launch pad will almost always get attacked, cities are important, and be sure to try to communicate and coordinate as much as possible.
