Epic boss fighter 2 is a very decent game for badges; difficult, but not luck based or something. It has normal mode (up to lvl 15), hard mode (unlocks when normal mode is completed, up to lvl 18) and insane mode (unlocks when hard mode is completed, up to lvl 20). I got a few badge suggestions;

First of all, no ‘all achievements collected’ badge; it requires killing 500 bosses total, which might be too much (I completed the game in a couple of hours but only got ~250 bosses). The badges could be (if API has a ‘level completed’ highscore);

- Easy: Kill 3 bosses / Complete level 3 (with a badge picture of the spider with some spider joke badge name)
- Medium: Complete normal mode (Complete level 15), with a picture of the bird of level 15
And then either
- Hard: Complete hard mode (complete level 18) ánd
- Hard: Complete insane mode (complete level 20)
or instead of 2 hard badges:
- Impossible: Complete level 20 (with a badgename like ‘insane of the membrane’ or something)

It was one of those Boss-only games (I think) that seemed Japan-inspired with a lot of mechs and katana-based skills to buy and upgrade. You got a hotbar with a few skills that all worked on cooldowns and every fight was a strategy in order to figure out which ones to use before the boss killed you. You earn currency (always dropped at certain boss percentages, usually when a “piece” of them falls off) to level up health and the like so you’d become better the next time around.
There were abilities like summoning droids and as you upgraded that particular ability you could eventually earn one giant eye-beam droid. Oh, and all the skill tiers were separate so you could equip a few of the same kind of ability (though this is inefficient later on).
You also had the ability to equip one “super” move that has the longest of cooldowns.

I believe you didn’t play as a male or female but some kind of strange silhouette of a person. (Which means it was probably male).

There was an Endless mode just to see how much damage you could do before giving up, or perhaps going through the entire 9999999999+ health the giant mech had.

I’m sorry if this all seems vague… but I kind of want to play it again.

Uhmm… I’m an average gamer, and I got 100% completion on this game a few days ago. Took me only a couple of hours to do so, and an impossible badge is not supposed to just take a few hours for any average gamer to complete.

An average gamer doesn’t have 17 imps, if you want to go down that road.

I kinda agree with Prec’s suggestions, but am really unsure about the imp now. :/

Those are mostly rather easy ones, whereas impossible badges should be insane in the way the one for Vertigo: Gravity Llama is. It’s badges like these which set most Kongregaters apart from the best of the best gamers. An impossible badge for 100% completion would be similar to the one Warlords: Heroes got, in that once you get the knack of it, it’s really not all that hard, and getting the knack of it only requires practice (instead of superb skill).

Vertigo wasn’t difficult

But yeah, +1 for prec’s ideas. It was actually a cool game and fun to get 100%, and I don’t care for badges any more

I’d like to delete my account please, how can I do this? (without deleting/banning my second account which is getting game revenue)

& a goodbye and cya kongregate and all the members here. It has been nice but meh, I don’t like dem badges system and the new online games… Keeps getting worse, upgrade-based, MMOstyle, or w/e and most of em are not skill based or fun to play. No offense to greg or something. I just find myself playing too many silly games for badges while it doesn’t satisfy in any way, and I don’t want to connect to the community because it’s not really my thing to make internet buddies and stuff. So there’s not really a reason for me to stay

Anyway, that’s it, cya guys

MISCRITS

has MULTIPLE working API’s.

current rating:4.3

Look at the comments… Especially the top rated comment, ‘ost everything in this game requires you to spend money. Most areas can only be unlocked with real cash. Many unique miscrits requires you to pay as well. Items (relics) also cost real money. Energy to heal yourself can be purchased. Pretty much another of those “whoever spends the most money wins” game, taken to a new level since you also need to pay for content. Yes, this game is a demo if you don’t pay. Also, I am pretty confident that Kong admins on purpose inflate rating of those “multiplayer” games with real money shops to push them on the front page so they get a share of the sales before the money-sink… I mean before the game dies.’…

Doesn’t say a good word about the game

I think the problem greg will have with that is that Contract Wars is a multiplayer game. Inevitably all multiplayer games shut down and it’ll become another game on the (growing) list of retired/broken badges that are no longer available to new people (which kind of sucks for the new people).

This game has been really popular for a long while without badges

Contract Wars badges are live! Sorry they’re all easier than what you’re suggesting, but these are intended for people who don’t necessarily play a lot of first-person shooters.

Sure? It has 9070 easy badges earned and 8985 medium badges earned at the game right now, I think it kinda deserves a hard badge because of this

My opinion about contract wars (as a guy who’ve played it for 30 hours)
Easy: Kill 10 players
Medium (head-ing for victory badge): 100 headshot kills
Hard: 25-35 contracts, after that it really requires you to buy ingame guns and stuff to fulfill em

It’s a great game! The beginning is (almost) exactly like world one, but after a few minutes it becomes great and it has a lovely boss at the end

Topic: Off-topic / (Serious answers only please); Can I lie about being an actor and having a lot of experience to get the main part in a small movie? I'm not sure if acting is that hard

So I want to become an actor for a couple of days, just to experience it and I think I’m kinda good at it; I’ve acted a couple of times before for fun for school (psychology cases in which we needed to interview/coach each other) and high school an acting thingy once. Anyway, now I found a movie casting for a short movie of 15 mins in which I could play (they need a 19 year old) so I guess I could go for it, I could write a fake resume, but I’m not sure if it’s all a good idea… Though I don’t have a lot to lose; I don’t really want to grow big in the actor world so I don’t have a reputation to care about. Anyway, what do you think?

I just finished story mode.. It was great and challenging to beat it and the challenge kept me motivated; definitely impossible worthy

As for the other modes; hardcore story isn’t even funny because it’s so long and the first 3-4 levels are dull. Survival and persuit are very easy in the beginning (first 2 and a half minutes) making it annoying to start over again if you die later on (because of the first part being so easy). Though I agree with Greg about what he said earlier

Originally posted by greg:

I’m reluctant to put badges in survival/pursuit because you have to unlock them with points that can be spent anywhere, and I don’t want to force players to spend points where they otherwise wouldn’t want to. I personally maxed out the cosmetic stuff, though partially because I want them in the future featured screenshot.

I’d say (optional) medium badge for 150 seconds of survival, (optional) medium badge for 120 seconds on persuit (persuit is a little bit harder than survival), hard badge for level 4 and impossible badge for level 5. And no badge for hardcore story; that’s too frustrating and annoying

Originally posted by Arcanmster:

I’m currently at level 5. Is there a trick for chained obstacles? I mean, I can enter the commands fast enough but Hippolyta doesn’t follow, for example when I’m tapping ↓ to dodge a tree, she hasn’t finished putting back her shield from the previous arrow obstacle (or “reloading” the javelin from the farmer obstacle) and so she doesn’t crouch before it’s too late.

Stop sprinting for a split second and tap the next button a few times so you’re sure she does that command
