I would recommend at least renaming the guy from red wizard to ‘Warlock’ or something..
Otherwise it would still seem like the same old man in a different robe.

I’m really happy that at least some of you guys appreciate my ideas. This post was actually meant for new hero suggestions as you guys can read above. It is just supposed to be fun.

Since I have been brought to think about the word reflect (not to be mistaken with counter attack), here’s something new that came to mind.
A new unit that cannot use a weapon (like Dancer) , A ‘Thorn Hex/Witch’ which should only deal damage when attacked. It should be given some sort defensive skill like ‘Terra Aegis’(Earth’s Protection) that would reduce damage dealt to an ally from attacks for a turn and also hurt the attacker (even Snipers, since the earth itself does the retaliation).
And the limit break could make use of ‘vines’ to disable the movement of the opponents within range (reducing defense maybe).

It could also have a good back story… An outcast rose elf with ability to command plants… thus the name ‘Thorn Witch’.
I hope this sounds good… what do you guys think???

Since there are already ice ‘like’ moves, I think it would only be natural to add other elements too, right? And the idea of alternative turns between a hero and an enemy does sound like it would work. right??

umm…thats not what i meant at all. I love this game very much and all I want is to help improve the game. I am sorry that i hadn’t done any much research before this stuff. I thought it would be fun if people could share ideas on how to improve this already great game.

I totally agree. Attributes could have different effects according to their nature and also be made ‘vulnerable to’ or ‘strong against’ each other in a cyclic manner. This would add an extra layer of depth into the game.

I also think it would be better to give each turn to different Hero/Enemy according to their speed(something that the game really needs), instead of letting an entire team wait till the other ends its turn. It would also reduce the chances of a single unit being sniped by enemies all at once. …I hope you guys get me…

umm…guys? Am I the only one with ideas around here?

Anyway, If there is a possibility that a new hero could be made with a move range a bit more than most heroes(like thief and rogue), I’d like to propose the idea of a ‘Beast Rider’. Someone who rides a cool looking giant cat(from the Avatar, maybe) or some other animal(horse sized) that can be found in those lands.
He/She could be armed with a lance and could have a moderate reach for melee attacks. The battle skill should be some sort of close range attack by the ‘beast’. I dont know about the limit break though.
What do you guys think?

Well, here’s another idea. A ‘Vampire’ type hero would look good in the game with a battle skills like ‘Scare’(Stun or maybe Reduce Attack) and maybe a limit break that could be similar to necro or something like ‘blood siphon/life leech’. The only problem is that a Vampire might not work well in the story of the entire game (I’m not really sure what sorts of beings exist in the lore). If that’s the case, a ‘Blood Assassin/Mage’ would do.

I’ve also been thinking about a new healer sort of hero. Unlike necromancer, someone with affiliation to light. An ‘Acolyte’ would work. He/She should have a battle skill that deals good magic damage (especially to skeletons and stuff) and a limit break that could actually ‘heal’ a single hero (unlike Bless).

I’m not sure if this could be done but I have been thinking of a few new heroes that could look awesome in the game.

First of all, I’d like to welcome you to the idea of a ‘Necromancer’.
He/She could have a battle skill that could harm normal opponents, but works in a different way against skeletons(maybe control them for a few turns or something).
I’m thinking of a limit break that could summon 2 or 3 skeleton warriors to help us in battle.

Second, since the wizard doesn’t seem to have an “evolved like” form like most others (Rogue → Assassin ; Guard → Halberdier and so on… and Sage works like a Dancer), I’ve been thinking of something with fire powers. Maybe a
‘Pyromancer’ or a ‘Flame Dancer’ (…lol).
I think fire should be able to do burn damage similar to poison. But it should be undone by ice.

Here’s one more, a ‘ChronoKnight’ or a ‘Chronomancer’. I think someone with time bending skills(extra turn) along with good attack would make an awesome hero.

I really think that the game needs more magic type characters like Shamans for debuff/stuns.

What do you guys think?? Got anything else in mind?

Topic: Berserk: The Cataclysm / **Couple Suggestions**

The main thing this game now needs are story campaigns (Not anything that should be brought from the shop). It should take our heroes through uncharted lands…deadly monsters…and more deadly monsters. It could be made up of a lot of chapters. And new chapter campaigns could be added weekly/monthly. That would make this game more exciting than….funding expedition campaigns in search for tools….and trying hard to make more money to buy expensive campaigns. Thus everyone can ‘play’ this game.

Topic: Berserk: The Cataclysm / **Couple Suggestions**

Well..i have started to like this game pretty much. It still needs something. The first problem is the monsters/troops. Some are quite good… some are just u know..not good. There are many monsters with names.
i think it will be great if they where just called somethin mage/fighter/healer etc. hope there is a map for this game. If there is one, U can name them accordin to the places in the game…like the mage of someplace..or the someplacean mage. I hope u guys understand what i am sayin.
I also think that it would be better if the classes where not like plains,mountains etc but humans, elves, orcs, demons, undead and neutral. U could give dwarfs/humans/animals(normal) to humans, fairy creatures to elves, trolls/ogres etc to orcs, undead beings to undead, dragons/demons etc to demons and let the others be neutral.
i dont think u would change the entire game.but u guys should think about it.
