This sounds like a pretty cool idea, actually. I like it. But, considering the personalities of the main characters…
The Aero should be like smart and nice, and quick to think on his/her feet. An all around good person.
The Ferric could be like a spiritual kind of warrior. Or he could be even nicer than all of the others. Everybody assumes that just because Ferrics have weird bone swords that could kill an elephant that they should be mean and gruff.
The Crag should be somewhat quiet maybe. They do live in the mountains or were said to anyways. He should be hardy, resilient, and obviously an expert with his weapon. He could be the mean one, perhaps.
I think one of them should be like a rookie or something, nervous and stuff. I don’t know, maybe that would be dumb.
That’s all i got, so keep working on this.
