Yea, it’s true, that I’d actually love to test both lugar and kael. That has to wait, though. And really, a lot depends on luck. Ilitia with fully gemmed blessed viho can still get unluckily oneshotted. From what I’ve seen, those fighters in boss-fight do crazy damage with a skill on any non-frost defender.

You can pretty much brute-force normal mode.

Regarding higher difficulties, I know that DK cleared epi with a lot of tries using luck and invi procs.

With my normal army (which you see like every day) I got heroic desert/crossroads/lake/canyon.
I don’t use chargers or fighters so caster-heavy maps (especially caster-charger combinations) are a problem for me. That’s why Prairie/Cave of Despair/Liquiman Canyon/Epi Cave/Boss are just at diff. I will try another push once nero hits 39 and update the status of eventual heroics, but I’ve got no problems beating diff (apart from boss).

So as I’ve said, I’ve got problems with boss on difficult. It’s stil just based on luck related to ilitia. If she dodges a first few shots, I win, if she dies first turn, I lose. (I posted one diff boss clear vid in august with an older team, no nero yet: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jp8w8g8Tiko – regarding army you can see there, at some point I got rid of Tyra. Her damage isn’t great in epi and her cc proc is quite rare.)

But boss on heroic…. I just can’t nuke all the chargers in time. I think I need to somehow fit 1 amazing fighter into my team. Thinking Lugar, but don’t have him.

And remaining maps on heroic. I think a good invi charger would solve the problem, but don’t have one either.

And to sum up gear (during last progress push): purple weapons (except a mix of red/halloween axes), full blesseds with occasional red hats.

First of all, I love the game, but still… there is a bunch of problems (in random order):

  • low ss gain at high levels (or too high ss gain at low levels due to how inactive farming works, depending on how you see it)
  • waaaaay too low gold cap (even with cubic warehouse expansion)
  • lack of high-level energy quests (i want to farm my whites in transylnia, i truly do)
  • the wall is useless in terms of def bonus it gives; it doesn’t really negate an advantage of adjusting formation the attacker has
  • things to research run out fast compared to other things (buildings); how about high-level research for forge chance, upgrade chance, combine chance?
  • lack of direct trading (man, i would pay 2 cubics for direct trade scrolls or something; some people already have quit because their [great] items got sniped)
  • too-long-battle no-replay error (it sucks in high pp maps, you can hardly ever see the battles)
  • calendar reset after d360 (after a year of playing people probably already got all t3, twice, and they are going to be getting 1k resources again and t1-2 cards… seriously?)
  • training hall xp sucks big time – why does it stop at lvl30?
  • mercenary guild sucks big time – it’s filled with low-level crap (cubic refresh doesn’t really help finding useful heroes unless you totally drown in spendings)
  • no max merc cost makes it easy to transfer huge amounts of ss from alts fairly easily (lol, i said that)
  • arena rewards make it not worth the daily clicking – rewards for just the top person is bs; also, the 24h arena timer makes winning arena mostly about who doesn’t forget to log into the game at a precisely planned time
  • hate me for this, but: lack of t4 guild skills
  • 33 req forever (why would i want to get tons of t4 heroes if i can hardly use them?)
  • lack of blacklist / mute button (for a game without active in-chat moderators that’s really needed feature; single idiots can flood the chat for quite a long time)
  • inactive players with no armies everywhere
  • nothing interesting apart from permament inventory in vip shop
  • adversa/ninevia/vihocher gear that drops in 1 event per year makes all the players who didn’t play at that time into quitting – it’s not about closing the gap… it’s just… they can’t compete AT ALL; they need to pay fortune to get some scraps for themselves to even try joining party portal
  • can’t pay to upload my own avatar (because why not? the money is out there, shut up and take it)
  • no cubic-only marketplace (if someone wants to pay cubics for my beautiful red drops, let them, it brings you more money, yet again)
  • no infinite (oh well, finite, but hardly possible to finish) mode where we can actually compete with other players (leaderboard-wise) – i want a tiered cave with stages, with pp-like parties made by 1 player, so we can show off
  • not enough deck slots (again, the money is out there waiting to be spent)
  • it’s impossible to turn off city and gui animations – they look nice, and i know it’s 2014 now, but my laptop still wants to die
  • colo ending at champions is kinda boring, usually there is noone interesting to fight; one more tier please?
  • people farming otherwise-unavailable bosses and doing invasions without needing to find location of a target using direct http requests is pure bs
  • i don’t care thaaaat much, but tutorial * [read: chick] can’t be turned off, and we hate her; let the campers camp and turn her off, i don’t mind (but at the same time solve the ss problem)
  • can’t copy text from mails
  • can’t whisper people directly from chat (i know there are channels, but it’s not the same; and plenty of newbies ask about this feature)

That’s the list from the top of my head. Maybe I’ll add something later.

I’m back with a reformulated merc guild suggestion:
- Let mercenary guild go up to level 25 (or even 30). Let it influence minimal levels of mercenaries shown by the guild (eg. at level 20 guild you don’t get mercenaries below lvl 20).

Regarding tickets. It doesn’t have to follow the quoted suggestion, but this game really needs more tickets. Say, if I wanted to do a lot party portal at higher level, I would need over over 1000 tickets per day. And it’s impossible to get even a third part of that. We really need some additional source of tickets. Since party portal is the only enjoyable thing late-game, let us do it, or we’ll be quickly bored with the game.

Regarding arena. I don’t want rewards to be cash shop items, but make clicking arena worthwhile. Give something to top10/50/100 that would make this building useful. Tickets? Soulstones? Or… tickets? Maybe gold. And tickets?

Hell no. I want to buy and sell incognito. I don’t want to be asked by people to sell a particular item cheaper because they see it’s mine in an auction house. Also, I like to grab cheap stuff from those alt-traders without being called names.

- Purge expired low-level (below lvl30, I’d say) heroes from Mercenary Guild on a monthly basis (I know it would make alt ss-trading easier, but honestly: Make. Merc. Guild. Useful.)
- Let Training Hall max out at lvl40.
- Give Black Market a few additional levels.
- Some Gather All button for farms. I don’t even mind paying some cubics for permament “plant all 12h” button.

There is a problem with Shadow Crystal dailies. Well, not really a problem, more of a design flaw.

With our levels growing our Shadow Crystal quests upgrade and as far as I noticed with each consecutive quest they were so far giving more exp per crystal. (Unless I noticed wrong :) )

However:
- Shadow Crystal VII gives 762800xp for 20 crystals, which is 38140xp per crystal.
- Shadow Crystal VIII gives 801700xp for 24 crystals, which is more or less 33404xp per crystal.

It doesn’t make much sense as the higher level quest is definitely worse. Well, unless you could complete it everyday, but with an income of Shadow Crystals being pretty limited that is not the case.

My knight isn’t anywhere near top, it’s just lvl 57.
Still, I don’t find myself losing against mages of similar level.

If you have a problem with mages hiding behind, open with seal, then US, shield, US and adapt afterwards.

Also, I’m not sure why pressing [Enter] from time to time equals proving something to anyone.
At the moment it is almost impossible to read.
Unless you don’t care if anyone reads that, then it’s fine, I guess.

I’m fine with my knight. As Ybri said in another topic, as long as I can kill each troop in 2 hits, I’m fine.
MPDef astral helps, too. Both in crypt, and in fights against mages.
Maybe it could be replaced with illusion, but I don’t bother enough to do the calculations.

Only thing that makes me sad is the lack of balance during world boss. The difference in daru/coins income vs archers (and mages, to lesser extent) is painful.

For knights, how does 5% reduction from talents stack with % dmg astral reduction and with Tenacity skill (also % dmg reduction)?

Some knights tell me it doesn’t stack at all, some that it does, but no idea how… and some just have no idea.

Levelling Treasury beyond level 80 (I’ve checked only 81 and 82) gives only 1000 gold-max per level.
The same with granary. Is that intended?
