firing rate of gun
Hello i’ve just started work on a basic vertical shooter as a first project. I have created a ship that can move left and right without leaving the stage and can shoot bullets.
The problem i’m having is finding a way to limit the consistency of bullets and slow down the rate at which the gun fires.
Heres the code that i use to fire the gun.
_root.attachMovie(“Bullet”, “Bullet” + i,
root [“Bullet” + i]._x = Ship.x + 48;
root [“Bullet” + i]._y = Ship.y + 90;
