Topic: Kongai / Counter This Card

Wei-Shan, Augur, and possibly VV & Andromeda.

The first 2 counter him on both ranges. The last 2 need some careful planning.

While Bestor is the umm… best counter, Gunb, Phoebe, Ubuntu, B9, and Anex all can take on CC with relative ease.

Also, while CC is annoying in general, I still hate Balt w/ Egg & Ambrosia w/ Girdle more. Yeah, I know these have even more obvious counters, but in Balt’s case, I get chain-stunned every single time I face him in Practice. :<

Topic: Kongai / Create A New Card!

Sure, why not.

Samael, Death Personified

65 HP
3/0/2

Innate: Samael gains 10 health and 20 energy when any character is killed.

Scythe Strikes: Instantly kills the enemy if the enemy’s health is under 20%. (Type: Physical, Energy: 25, Speed: 5, Hit: 90%, Proc: 100%, Damage: 3*4, Range: Close)

Sacrificial Rites: Deals 15 damage to self and swaps damage with healing for the rest of the turn. Can’t be used 2 turns in a row. (Type: Light, Energy: 40, Speed: 9, Hit: 95%, Proc: 100%, Range: Both) Note: This will fully heal Samael when hit by Touch of Doom and anything of the like. Should the enemy die during that turn, Samael will heal from any of the damage taken that turn, then loses 10 health due to his innate (and 2 more if Healing Salve is equipped).

Scythe Thrust: If this attack hits first, has a chance to cancel the enemy’s attack. (Type: Physical, Energy: 30, Speed: 7, Hit: 95%, Proc: 60%, Damage: 17, Range: Close)

Curse Blade: All scythe attacks are dark magic, deal +3 damage and have a 30% chance to deal 4 poison damage for 3 turns. (Type: Dark, Energy: 10, Speed: 2, Hit: 100%, Proc: 100%, Damage: —, Range: Both)

Might think of some other stuff if the game is still alive. :<

Judging by your spelling and punctuation, you might be better off with TF2 after all. And ROFL @ “SMNC being a TF2 ripoff” when the only similarities they have is class-based combat.

Topic: General Gaming / [Super Monday Night Combat] Guide to SMNC

Actually, despite having the original pros in the game, the overall lethality has been decreased, which means most of your MNC knowledge only applies on Turbocross. In Supercross, the Assassin’s main role now is to backdoor and do some hardcore cheesing. Sniper’s headshots aren’t OHKO anymore, and Support’s firebase is pretty much a dump skill now. Picking Gunner is also pretty much gimping your team unless you’re playing against randoms.

BUT WHO CARES WHEN COMBAT GIRL IS IN THE GAME (plus she’s one of the easier pros to learn as well)? :P
