I’m pretty sure there used to be a way to upload the game you were working on to Kongregate without making it public, so that you could give the link out to playtesters and such, and get comments. But now that I’m actually ready to use that functionality, I can’t seem to find it. Does Kongregate not offer that anymore, am I misremembering, or am I just looking in the wrong place? And if it’s the last, thanks to anyone who can tell me the right place to look.

Thanks for the information. I am currently using the XML files to make changes easy, but I didn’t know they could be embedded directly. I’ll probably do that before release. Do you know of a good tutorial about it? Or does it just work more or less the same as embedding an image or sound?

The game I’m currently working on is using XML files to read values into the game. It’s quite handy. However, I’m concerned that when I want to start shopping my game around to the Flash portals, I may not be able to have them host both the .swf file and my XML files, and the .swf won’t work without the XML files.

Does anyone know if additional files can be allowed when uploading?
