Topic: War of Omens / Chapter 9, battle 3

Does anyone have any strategies/builds that saw them through this battle? I usually run a magic apple deck and rely on Vinter to produce apples and Supplicant to convert them to magic that I can spend on anything. My soldiers are mostly just to soak damage as I build a huge magic nuke. I have Courtesan and Patron to convert apples and smooth out the early game until Supplicant shows up, Spice Route and Intrigue for some more supply and Militia and Mercenary as cheap military units – because I have nothing stronger. The problem is I can weather his first attack since I can build up enough magic to blow up his units and have enough meatshields to take the retaliation, but then since his initial army is in his deck, he can redraw it instantly – and if I’m unlucky on redraws I get nuked. I can survive about 5 such resurrections of his army, but without time to build up resources I can never get enough magic or damage on him to tip the balance in my favor.

Topic: Elements / Some fun low-level card combos

This is mostly from the point of view of a slowish death deck, YMMV:

Voodoo Doll + Gravity Pull
- Your opponent’s creatures damage the doll, and the damage is reflected to the opponent. Adding in a source of creature healing and/or buffing the doll’s HP can be rather devastating.

Empathy + creature generators
- Empathy heals you for each creature you control. This is great with generators like Boneyards, or you can use Aflatoxin on a throwaway creature of your own for tons of Toxic Cells. Either way, generating a ton of creatures keeps you in lots of HP.

Creature generator + Otyugh
- Boneyards can work, but Aflatoxin-generated cells are better since they will definitely respawn every turn. Just nom them up and make your Ottys big n’ happy.

Schrodinger’s Cat + on-death events
- As long as you have the quanta, you can ‘kill’ the Cat once a turn, which can seriously beef up your Vultures and crank Skeletons out of Boneyards.

How can mission 41 be beaten?

I’m completely at a loss.

Nekon Attack seems to never end.

I selected the 1st silver Nekon attack stage for the first time at level 7 with the Tricraft Shadow, would collect the required number of orbs (and, occasionally, all the orbs from all the ships), and after the ships were destroyed, the level would continue without end.

Topic: Kongregate Multiplayer Games / [Sacred Seasons MMORPG] how to lvl up fast with high lvl friends

It all depends on level, if you are lower level and have a class with decent AoE, you can level up pretty quickly. There are a few good dungeons in the the Cold Woods with only two fights that each give 100+ exp, and another that gives 200+. Once you get up around 25 or so, you can grind a lot of the pre-boss dungeons, like the lighthouse in Bellroot.

In general the strategy Aerow listed is how to deal with high-fame attackers. The only tough part about that strategy though is it is very hard to build up resources to make large improvements, like town hall upgrades, if someone is constantly waiting to loot you. I think the window on allowable attacks should be much smaller. 5x is way too much. Higher fame players also need something to do. There should be game elements starting at around 20k fame (kind of like vaults) that higher fame players can hit that are more interesting/lucrative than attacking lower-fame players.

@Nicholas98

I agree with you in principle… yes, it is beta, however it is going out over the web, so at some point you are pushing content to a web browser. Web browsers are applications that are made specifically to present encoded content. It isn’t as if I want to run a VAX app on their SPARC workstation, I’d like to play their browser-based flash game in my browser’s flash player.

The only reason for this not to work under Linux is that they use some commands or resources (likely media calls to Registry handles) that only exist under Windows… which is a Bad Idea when engineering a free-to-play game where your business model is based on maximal audience penetration… so it is important for all of those who can’t play (and add to their ad revenue) to state so here.
