I have an issue with one of my decks disapearing when I log in. I do not know why this happens, it is decks made long ago. It happened at least 4 times so far and it is rather annoying to have to remake the decks.

Topic: Rise of Mythos / Guild showdown - Not able to add last member to team

Hello,

I registered guild for the showdown. I put 2 players originally, then added a 3rd one. But now after kongregate crash I can’t see the registered team anymore and can’t add the 4th player.

Is there anything that can be done to add last one before Sunday evening?

Topic: Rise of Mythos / [REVIEW] Good CCG but too slow and too much pay-to-win

Obviously money doesn’t replace brain, but yes this is a pay to win game.
It is unlikely you will be in the top 1v1 pvp ranks anytime soon without being at least VIP.

There are things I like in this game as a free player:
- Deck building is pretty fun once you start to have a few cards, especially for ascension tower.
- Some fights are challenging and need proper deck to beat them (or high $$$ deck I guess, but they are still beatable with lower cards and good strategy)
- You can still get top200 pvp – at least for now.

The main thing is dislike so far is that events are nearly always outside my timezone.
It’s like “hey European players, you know what? We got nice events with nice rewards for which free players still have a chance to compete with paying players. What do you think about playing them in the middle of the night?”
I have yet to try a single equalizer fight due to how inconvenient this schedule is.

Hello,

Is it possible to clarify the requirements to enter guild showdown ?
Any way to see what is guild rank in weekly contribution? (As guild ranking for total/weekly seem to be more or less the same so I guess weekly is wrong…)
If it’s the case, where is the button to register guild?

Does weekly contribution mean the contribution during the week, or is it just the total contribution including all past weeks?

Our guild was created after tuesday refresh and made 6202 exp/40940 wealth since that time, which I’m fairly sure should put us in top20 for contribution done during the week or at least very close to it.

I agree with above comments regarding events for other timezone like Europe. Currently for me on 1v1 sealed events:

During regular week days:
2 are at 11:30 am
3 are at 4:30 am
which are not convenient times at all

During week-end:
1 is at 2:30 am
1 is at 7:45 am which is actually on Monday morning.

Topic: Cloudstone / im stuck on loading screen

I had same issue today, after reloading several times I was able to play the game.

However I currently have a lot of other loading issues in cloudstone.
When loading maps, sometimes it gets stuck in middle:
I had some shard run today for which it happened on around 50% of the maps I played. And the rare maps I was able to start usually ended up being stuck when changing of map screen.

I have same issue for rift as well today, rift map not loading and vigor wasted.

Topic: Mystic Guardians / Tips for gaining fast XP?

The fastest way to gain fast XP at the moment is pvp fleeing abuse.
2 players fight each other repeatedly and alternate fleeing right at start of fight, for huge and fast XP gain.

Apart from that, I would say PvP is not too good for level up, you will usually have long fight and lose half of them, which means you get XP only for half of your fights.
Trainer grinding is ok, in fact with a 4 guardian team you nearly never have to farm to get XP if you beat every guardian on your road once.

Once your main team lvl28-30, one of the fastest non pvp way to lvl up is to go to desert with first guardian low level + 3 high level guardian, just fight guardians/random wild guardians and switch to high level guardian once fight starts so low level guardian shares exp reward.

Note: you should probably consider the fact that you want to gain guardian exp fast, but usually not increasing your player level too fast.
As every fighting action will bring you 5 exp points, you will want to end fights as fast as possible, using high attack or S. attack guardians.

Walrush:
I played it but not as strong as it seems.
Its ability doesn’t work anymore if you don’t have summons in deck. So this can leave you without any summon to draw for a while if you don’t cycle deck fast.
Its ability is basically useless once your field is full with the summons you want, this leaves you with one summon that does “nothing” or you have to replace it, potentially wasting turn att bonus.
Tsunami spell is really good too, although that forces you to play with void field as well + you need to keep walrush in play late game because that’s when tsunami is more cost effective.

Praxian Sub: yeah… really strong card. Its strength is both in its good nuking ability, its untargetable buff and its decent attack. One of its main asset though is that it is versatile. You need only one card to provide you both nuking capability and the non targetable buff. Most mid/long fight decks need to have at least 1 non targetable summon, otherwise getting 4 summons on field is really risky against aoe like thunderstorm.

Magellan: good drawer, better than crystal ball due to its 2 att.

Razormaw: decent defense card, but low hp so hard to play as a defender. Unlike whistly that can benefit similarly from att/armor buffs, razormaw benefits much more from att buffs than armor buffs.

Drunk Sailor: interesting card for its 0 cost ability, but its low stats and the fact you should mainly play it while having party untargetable makes it rather bad.

Anchortooth: really good defense card. Its nuking ability is not as good as top nukers, however the additional effect is really strong: one good way to deal with nuker is to pressure by attacking with higher stats card. Nuking is usually best used on high att cards, which are also the ones that opponent uses to attack you. Perfect targets for Anchor Toss.

Urchin Volley: Looks like rather weak card.

Aqua Beam: Nice card, this is one of the most cost efficient nuking ability, as you have hydreen in play it allows you to get +1 att for 4 mana and 2 turns on 21-25 hp cards as well.

Cannaos: Strong ability. But as it is designed for mid-end game, the card itself may be too weak to keep it on field for long.

Grax: Interesting card that I haven’t played. Should be played to win fights quickly. Should probably be played with armor debuffs + mass heals.

Hello,

I have a concern with adventure PvP.
We lost 2 towers in 2 days. I do not even know who attacked them, they went down from 20 to 0 hps in a few hours. This is not a problem with current design since you can freely change guilds and can’t prevent someone from joining yours. However if this mode is meant to be guild Vs guild then I think it is needed to know who attacked who.

However I have an issue with the fact that it is still much less costly to destroy towers than to build them. Tower costs 20 gems to destroy (1 or 2 more if you take more than 1 hour), they need a lot more to build: 15 resources, but drop rates of slate/granite are ridiculously low in caves. And each fight in cave is much longer than forest fights for instance, because golem/sedimentus are rather tough and can’t be overrun as easily as forest guys.

I think either the cost to destroy should be higher, or they should be a requisite to attack player, either spending coins or having building on map. So you can’t just destroy stuff with “nothing to lose attitude”

Then last question: are multi accounts allowed in this game? I’m not exactly sure who is destroying towers, but given the speed at which it is going either it is organization or some kind of multi-accounting sillyness.
If multi accounts are allowed then I will probably have to make some, either to get the resources needed to build stuff back (currently destroyed faster than we can rebuild). Or to destroy all other buildings on map so that players looking to build stuff join us instead to help.

I play 2 rares: philosopher stone and breeding nest, they can be replaced by potion of intelligence and meditation.
Golden Compass can be obtained in adventure mode.
Word Of Power: Fir can be obtained in campaign, rest is regular cards.

For adventure map:

Need a way to communicate with guild members easily:
Either some kind of shoutbox (message is visible even if you were not online at the time message was written) or at least a way for guild leader to post announcement for other guild members.

Grant control to guild leader to decide who can join guild or not. Right now you can benefit from buildings on the map by joining corresponding guild and leaving it afterwards.

Possibility to know in which guild someone is, maybe put that information on profile screen and allow people to see profile of other players.

This is more balancing, not sure exactly what should be done – maybe current situation is fine.
It feels wrong for me that the cost in gem/time is higher to construct a building than to destroy it.
Especially for defense building like tower, for other buildings it could make sense to have it less costly to destroy them than to build them.
I think a brand new player can easily gather the 20 gems required to destroy tower by lvl-ing up several times quickly.
A high level player will require minimum 15 hours to get the 15 items necessary to build tower ( and probably much more than that, as drop rate probably below 50%)

Bug report on adventure map.
I’m on sawmill case: 10,45.
When I click on sell Wood button it starts a fight, apparently against tower placed at 9,45.
I tried it again, moving on map to be sure I was not on tower slot by mistake.

And again, clicking sell wood starts fight against tower, making me lose 1 gem and tower losing hps…

Not exactly a bug, but in tournament mode:

Entry was closed, 8 players. 1 player was at tier 3, 2 players were fighting each other at tier 1 (maybe 1 player/1bot, not sure).
And I was at tier 1, looking for opponent for a long time. As soon as the other tier 1 fight was over I get matched against a bot.
I don’t think there is a need to wait at tier 1 to fight a bot once the entry to tournament is closed.

Bug – probably since last update to have only 4 effects:

Some effects are applied (at least on AI card) exceeding the 4 limit. A golden golem had 3 avsen heal + golem armor and then received diamond armor.
The golem had the +4 armor bonus even though no picture of diamond armor. This bonus stayed until golem died – at least 6 turns.

I had similar bug on other AI card for other summon/spell

If you end a fight while playing breeding nest on your last turn then on the next fight you start with only one card (at least while hunting in adventure mode)

Mt Adena – Map with Cackyll:

At least 2 spots on the left that allows you to go through rocks and then on the border of the map.
One spot that allows to walk on the big lava line at the right of the map
It is also possible to avoid the cackyll by going out of its range on the right – but even if I get through then I couldn’t find anything to do at the top :P
