Topic: General Gaming / The "What was that game called?" Thread

Hello gentlemen, I was wondering if anybody knows the title of a memory game that is on this site, where the player would face different misters named after colours (example, Mr.Black, Mr.Green). Some of them were good and some were evil and they all affected the memory round in some way. You could also get upgrades if I recall correctly.

Thanks in advance

3.Third game – what I remember:
(This is very vague memory)

-The game is very old (also dating from around ‘90s);
-Perspective is “slightly-tilted-top-down” (similar to Warcraft II perspective);
-Models of characters are pre-rendered-3D;
-In first level player controls two characters (not sure if humans or some monsters), each of which is located at different sides of the screen;
-One character has a shovel and is able to dig up and close holes;
-In center of the map there is a tower (or a castle?) and on top is a king who is kinda worried and walking in a circle;
-I played this game for like 10min, so I’m not really sure what the goal was but I’m guessing it was to save the king by solving different puzzles with them two player-controlled characters;
-Player also had an interface on one side of the screen (can’t remember which). The interface had icons of skills of each characters (like digging with shovel);
-The first map was also populated with monsters and different items.

~~~Well that’s it. Any help on discovering the names of these three games would be greatly appreciated. Thank you^^
Pretty sure this is Gruntz, amazing game.
I’m looking for a point-and-click kind of game that was all about logical thinking. As it progressed it got more difficult, starting from simple things to a lot more tougher stuff, ending with a puzzle using symbols.
You were supposed to answer false or true troughout the game if I remember it correctly.
Does anybody know?
Thanks
Topic: General Gaming / Pingy the Ping Idle RPG - suggestions?
I’m not sure if this has been mentioned before since I don’t feel like reading through 781 posts but something that would greatly improve the game is the option to buy/exchange cash for EXP. At lvls ~50-70 you have WAY too much money that you can’t do anything with and the EXP bar is moving awfully slow. If you could use that money that at the moment serves no purpose to make the EXP bar quicker, or buy an amount of EXP that would be awesome.
In other words, cool game. Has a lot of potential but right now it’s kind of lame once you get up to the higher levels. Can’t wait for updates :)
Topic: General Gaming / Games similar to Elements?
Heya guys. I’m wondering if you know of any great card games similar to Elements. It doesn’t need to have a multiplayer feature but that would be nice. I’ve already tried Tyrant or whatever it’s called, and that Necronomicon game. Didn’t quite like how they worked. All help is appreciated :3
Thanks.
I’ve got another one. It’s a game for the NES. In the game you are either a party of 4 or you have the ability to transform yourself (I can’t remember). Every character has a special ability however I can only remember two of the four. The first one was a rock golem, who could take a lot more hits but his jumping was way worse than the other characters. The second one was a rat who couldn’t attack but he could climb walls and get through narrow spaces where the others wouldn’t fit. The idea of the game was to use the different characters abilities to progress through each map. It was a classic sidescrolling platformer and the setting was pretty dark. It sort of reminded me of the early castlevania games and when you beat a level you got to the level select screen which was a big map and you would unlock different paths and sometimes you could choose which path you would take, just like in castlevania.
Anybody remember this awesome game?
Little Samson?
YES! Thank you that’s it!
I’ve got two…
One was like a kind of RPG. you could choose different characters at the start, one of them was a guy in a wheelchair.. The first level, you had to jump through a large hole in the wall or wait a while. The font for different levels was KIND OF LIKE I stress, kind of. I remember getting some kind of gun, which you could shoot different coloured balls, the aim was to get those balls into different holes in the level. It’s an RPG, not Bucketball or something, and it was a fullscreen game (not flash)
The second one was basically Snake, but full screen, point-of-view, you were a car and I remember something to do with paint. ._.
Both of these were fullscreen PC games.
Thanks in advance.
EDIT: Both of these were fairly old games, probably 7~9 years old. Sorry I can’t give more info.
The snake car game is ARMAGETRON?
I played a game that was on the the kong homepage at some point last night, I wanna say it was around 5-7ish. You were a shop keeper and had to keep your business intact. You could pick from a tailor,a blacksmith, a witch, and one more crafter(armorer maybe?) to create your product.
I think it’s swords & potions.
Well no, it’s not. But first levels are usually tutorial levels or ridiculously easy.
And you’re welcome. :)
The first level is way too hard and long for being the first level. Maybe lower the amount of enemies that attack, so the player has a chance to get a feel for the game. Also the shop spells and items need descriptions. Otherwise, great job.
I think you’re looking for Crysis. Or crysis 2, it fits the description perfectly and it’s for Xbox 360.
Wow, this might be a longshot since I hardly remember anything of the game. It was kind of a point and click adventure in which you were in some really strange and trippy dreamworld and you played some weird green monster if I recall correctly, and it was kind of creepy even though the graphics were childfriendly. It wasn’t a horror game of any kind. Just really messed up. Anybody remember something like this?
It’s almost 10 years old I think, was for the PC. It’s not a flash game.
