OK, can someone explain to me how the scoring works for this? Because my score was going down just as much as it was going up—and if this was the score I got on a 5-minute run, I can’t see how people can even approach 1 million points in a 1-hour run unless I’m missing something big.

Wait a sec, are you saying that your score decreased at times?

Bullet scraping is what you have to do to increase your multiplier.

They just added a little more space between all the letters using the letter-spacing css property. You could easily make a user style or user script to change it back if it’s really bothersome. (I think they may also have changed the font too and a few other things)
