Had no idea you could use the search bar for anything other than games. Thanks anyway.

Unearned Badges
Not sure if this is a universal problem or just with my computer, but when I try to view only “Unearned” badges, the achievements page still lists earned badges. Ordering by “Earned” or “Easy” and all the others work.

you can say that they were just a parasitic blob of skin if you want.
but a heart beat starts at about 22 days afters conceptionhttp://wiki.answers.com/Q/When_does_the_heart_s…
and it starts breathing(liquid oxygen) at 120 days.

so it has a heart-beats and it’s breathing,
what else does it need to do to be any more alive?
Next time you cite references, go to somewhere other than wikianswers. Liquid oxygen? Liquid oxygen has a maximum temperature of about -180 degrees celcius. A fetus get’s its oxygen through the umbilical cord from the maternal blood. It doesn’t breathe until it’s born.

It’s not a bad thing for a mother to rectify her mistakes, is it? Also, how is rape a mistake?

Was this really a serious thread? You’re comparing genocide to getting rid of a parasite. It’s like saying ’What’s worse: the Arabic killings of innocent Sudanese, or giving the Sudanese anti-tapeworm medication’. The Holocaust. If you want to be pro-life, you should at least take the mother’s life into consideration

14 Year Old Mother in Bronx Helps 17 Year Old Friend to Roast ex-Friend's Kitten in Oven
Very disgusting. For the fact that as did it “as a prank”, both the girls involved have got to be
seriously messed up. I think a foster home for the child, and some therapeutic cyanide for the two girls.

PETA attacks Barack Obama - over a fly!
If you’re interested, here is a news article about it. Also, the PETA blog which doesn’t really appear to condemn his actions.
The world sure isn’t coming to an end because a pro-animal group promotes pro-animal behaviours.
Is this really serious discussion?

Truthful Obituaries?
I think it’s something like ‘respect for the dead’ or an equivalent throwaway line. When I die I want people to be honest, and I hope that means that they’ll have mostly good things to say about me. I don’t believe in god or an afterlife, so really my death doesn’t impact me in any way at all. If the world did somehow continue for me after I died, then I’d be happy with ‘Dorian was a good father and husband, who contributed to his society and made people happy. He would occasionally lose his temper, and alienated a lot of people throughout his life, but if he cared about you he made sure that you always knew’. Honest, but still nice because it’s the way I lived, not because people want to believe that’s the way I lived.
Also, Thanks Jabor for stopping that troll crap. I was pumping myself up for a rant as I was scrolling down

Ax: Superior Beings
I think it’s a matter of scale – we live on the same planet as cockroaches, so killing them isn’t too hard. If the superior beings lived on Jupiter, then I’m sure they’d crush us because we were close enough to be worth it. We haven’t found signs of life anywhere nearby, so we’re not likely to pose any sort of threat to them if they were to exist. If aliens did exist, I doubt that they would be the same as movies make them out to be. Then again, we may seem like a good food source to other intelligent beings
edit v I consider myself both informed and underwhelmed at your hobbies. Interesting about the broadcasting thing, though. Source?

Hot Coffee in Meat Boy
My parents gave me a book about sex when I was 4. We had sex education in school from grade 3 (7 years old). To think that kids these days grow up totally ignorant of sex is ignorant in itself. A 13+ audience today is overwhelmed by sex on tv, advertising, and of course the internet. Do ratings restrictions really mean anything on the computer? Kong is a 13+ site, but you can’t tell me that underage kids don’t use the site, just as you can’t tell me that every 12 year old boy who has just discovered his penis will turn away from a pornography site just because it’s supposed to be for 18+. The hot coffee ending was nothing more than jerky movements of a few pixels. Yes, it represented an adult-themed act, but as many others have pointed out, a large portion of the games on here depict high-level violence and remain on the site. The only issue I have with the developer is his response; although I can understand him being annoyed that such a minor thing would recieve so many complaints, his response was that of a petulant child and not a mature adult

Agreed. Also, why do it in the first place? If you like one, say so and they might appreciate it, but there’s no need to pick faults. Like Thumper said, “If you ain’t got nothin’ nice to say, don’t say nothin’ at all”

New update = What the hell?
I’m surprised at how much attention this has received. It’s definitely a little confusing, though I originally thought it was so that you could see the original post as a separate entity from the replies. But now I see it’s either a glitch, or a middle finger to the forum contributors.

AX: Heaven for neonates
Ax: Heaven is real and Christian
As an atheist, I’m interested to hear what christian’s think about where neonates go when they die. People of other religions can weigh in, too, but the ideas I mention may not cross over.
Having talked to members from christian groups in university, school, and when they badger me on the street, there are two principles that are apparently set in stone:
1: You have to earn a place in heaven
2: Only christian’s go to heaven
I was wondering; what do you believe happens to babies that die either during childbirth or within the next 2 years? They have not decided to be christian, nor do I think they could have led a life that could be deemed as christian and thus earned a place. Even if a child were to be born to christian parents, that does not make them christian by faith, and nor does a child born to hindus mean that that child* would not have grown up to reject their parents’ religion and accepted christianity. Are children who die young simply erased from the celestial plane?
*I considered making it an axiom that those children that died had equal opportunity to live. I disagree with this, call it fate if you will, and so have left it open for discussion as well

I think it’s spam. I don’t know if it deserves silencing after one offence, but if done repeatedly then I don’t see a problem.

Are doctors and hospitals playing God?

If they are, I’m a little skeptical about where the milk is coming from
Oh and I suppose I should answer the topic’s question: No. Without getting into the religious debate, humans are animals, and as such anything that we do is essentially natural (obviously not in the sense most would use it), and that includes building skyscrapers and polluting our environment. Doctors play human like everybody else.
For interest’s sake, this is the 6th passage of the modern Hippocratic Oath:
I will respect the privacy of my patients, for their problems are not disclosed to me that the world may know. Most especially must I tread with care in matters of life and death. If it is given me to save a life, all thanks. But it may also be within my power to take a life; this awesome responsibility must be faced with great humbleness and awareness of my own frailty. Above all, I must not play at God.
