Umm… you can’t be serious. Access to a substance does not change how many ways one can abuse it.

“Throughout the world, on any given day, a man, woman or child is likely to be displaced, tortured, killed or disappeared, at the hands of governments or armed political groups. More often than not, the United States shares the blame.”

Both “generals” were not all that great militarily.

Norwegian side way back to the Viking Age and North German sides to around 16th century. In fact we have a village in Hordaland named for my family in Norway. It’s absolutely beautiful around there.

I’m not sure what you would define “faith” as, but since I do not have any proof, I’m guessing there’s no science involved.

if that is so, do you think that there is no other way to believe in the possibilty that a God exists except through faith?

At the moment, I don’t think there’s a way to prove God exists or doesn’t exist. That is far beyond our understanding and capability.

I’d say I am quite capable of understanding the inexistence of gods. It really isn’t that hard.

Topic: Serious Discussion / The Government-Do they track your internet? (Your opinion.)

I’d say if you frequent “out of the norm” sites you might be subjected to spying. For example, I go to many anarchist sites, some of which border on and advocate terroristic thoughts and ideas.

Which is great but completely ignores the people who can’t run.

I would be frozen and unable to do anything even if I did have a gun on me.

Which isn’t the case for everyone.

Yes running is great idea. If you can’t. . . well, survival of the fittest!

Woah! That must be what I have been experiencing, although every once in awhile it would last for days. . . good thing it has stopped since I have taken up running.

Why would his teachings be accepted if according to the below in the Old Testament it says not to follow him?

Is the God in the old testament another God than the one in the new testament? That is your assumption here, at least.

The thing is, how do you know he is talking about hte same god?

That is what it really comes down to. Freedom or oppression. Control or liberty.

Okay, then why do Americans accept oppression so there is control and “order?”

Moral and Existential Nihilism and Anarchy FTW

that’s a rather odd combination

fix’d I think.

Nvm read this
1. An extreme form of skepticism that denies all existence.
2. A doctrine holding that all values are baseless and that nothing can be known or communicated.
3. Rejection of all distinctions in moral or religious value and a willingness to repudiate all previous theories of morality or religious belief.
4. The belief that destruction of existing political or social institutions is necessary for future improvement.
