@ Maamba
Your replies to my suggestions were: “lol, l2p, nonsensical”
And you didn’t even try to give reasons for this … ‘opinion’.
Santa and you have been told not to tell other users that they can’t make suggestions in a ‘suggestions’ thread.
What is wrong with you.

@Bart In order to make a worthwhile suggestion, you have to know the game well. A new player usually doesn’t concider all the content, mechanics and balance of the game(cause he’s simply too new to know all that staff), but just throwing smth, that comes in mind. I, personally wouldn’t dare to make a suggestion to any issue, if i don’t have enough knowledge and overview of the topic.(same applies to real life)

I just explained why that is wrong. A noob is perfectly qualified to comment on the things that noobs don’t like in the game. And again, if you piss off the noobs, the game will eventually die.
Of course some of the noob suggestions will be bad ideas; maybe even most of them.
So what?

Suggestions from noobs are easily as important as suggestions from veterans.
There will always be veterans who leave the game, and if you can’t replace them, who will you play against? Nobody, that’s who.
So you have to make sure that the game is engaging to noobs as well, so that some of them will stay long enough to become veterans themselves. And the suggestions from noobs can help to keep the noobs playing.
Pissing off the noobs with ‘clever’ replies, on the other hand – that’s something nobody needs.

This next suggestion has probably been made dozens of times already, but still:
30 seconds is way too much time per turn. 15 seconds is plenty; personally, I would even welcome 10 seconds, but that might be too short for several reasons like lag etc.

k, suggestions.

What the game is right now: “fight battle – get chest – fight battle – get chest”.
And the battles aren’t even interactive. I have two rotations, one for an opponent with two warriors in the melee row, and one for everyone else.

We need more to do.

We need more spells and abilities in battle, and especially countermeasures.
We need more PvE.
We need daily battles between guilds on battlegrounds, where each guild tries to conquer towers and villages and mines and stuff, which will then give you buffs for the final siege in the center of the map.
We need PvE dungeons that give better rewards the further into the dungeon you can survive . So not “four battles + boss, the end”, but endless battles, with boss fights every five levels until you choose to leave, because if you are defeated you lose all the loot).
And so on and so on … we need something to do other than chat with our guildies!

So … is this an idle game?
All we do is make our teams more powerful.
We do not use them to achieve anything, we just make them more powerful.

But the Korean updates are also just stringing people along.
The Koreans don’t work on the end game content anymore.
They should just fucking sell the game to another company
who actually wants to finish it.

When you see this, it might be too late already; you probably have already played many hours.

HotR is a great game. Except, it isn’t finished.

The endgame content (for which the central area on the World Map was reserved) has not been implemented yet – and players have been waiting for that for about two years now.

So if you just want to play for fun, have at it, but if you were looking forward to decent PvP or endgame, don’t waste any more time on this.

The light brown area in the center of the world map is still inactive.

Then why this obsession with the Korean server if they, too, aren’t working on the game anymore?

Is the Korean server doing something with the ochre area in the center of the world map?

You people are still around?
Amazing.
Was checking today (after all, this could be a good game if it weren’t in a coma) …
… they didn’t even bother to change to “snowy winter scenery” ?!

beside what they can’t do, it would be decency to have a word from OGP on what they actually can and are planning to do, with some sort of timeline of what’s going to happen and when for, like, the next 6 months.

Here you go:
February 2015 – nothing
March 2015 – zilch
April 2015 – nada
May 2015 – say what?
June 2015 – come on, it is summer now, go outside!
July 2015 – you still here?!

So, almost two months later – nothing has changed, of course. The game still has no PvP, still doesn’t do anything with that area in the center of the World Map, and so on … so I am bumping this thread, just for fun ;)

It is sad, so – it could be so much fun if they made the players compete for control of those areas on the World Map in weekly skirmishes; or if there were a real arena where you can choose your opponent, and fight him several times in a row. Give the winner points he can use to buy gear for his army … at least this last idea would be really easy to implement, if the devs had not given up on this game …

Kong should, too. This game should have no place on Kong if the devs don’t deliver.

People don’t play so much, most of them give up at the very beginning of the tutorial:

Level 1: 35,73%
Level 2: 24,56%
Level 3: 4,72%
Level 4: 3,25%
Level 5: 4,62%
Level 6: 3,80%
Level 7: 7,58%
Level 8: 3,35%
Level 9: 1,49%
Level 10: 1,46%

89,51% of the players have never moved out of the capitals.

How’d you come by such detailed numbers?

And before spending any money on this, you also should know that this game does not have any endgame content and hardly any PvP.
So no matter how much money you spend, you cannot compete, because there is no competition.

I just killed off a dozen T4 and many more T3, gave away my Blessed gear and thus, after 10 months, I am free!
I have done this because it is now abundantly clear that the game will not see any updates in the near future. Sure, it is not entirely impossible that they will finally come up with end game content in 2015, and then I will look like a fool …
I can live with that. Better than checking every other day if maybe an update happened.
And chances are that they will start a new server then anyways.

Ok, of course this guy is insane, but he has a point.

New players don’t immediately consult the forum. So they don’t know about all the things that are wrong with this game, and many of them will have played a long time before they find out.

This game should be removed from KONG, or should have at least have a huge disclaimer for new players.

Topic: Heroes of the Realm / I have been spoken to!

This thread needs to be a sticky, so that new players can immediately know that they are about to ride a dead horse.

I guess that means “game over”.
After all, HOTR is a very simple game. If they cannot hire some temps to make the necessary changes, that can mean only one thing: that HOTR doesn’t make them any money at all.

3) Assume that we are in direct contact with the DEVELOPERS. OGP and Kongregate are PUBLISHERS of the game. The DEVELOPERS are in Korea and license the game for publishing outside of Korea.

With these “DO NOT”s, I really don’t understand what you want us to do.
