So…after the logs of Glean 1 and with the personal logs in Glean 2 I think this is the story of the wiped out humans who fell victims to their own machine creations… in one last attempt they sent out escape pods from earth and thousands of years later one little machine escapes the “consciousness” the hive mind of the machines to bring the human species back to life… at least thats where i think Glean 3 (if there ever was one) would point to…

I enjoyed reading the logs and I hope I am close to the storyline…

Great job, creators of a fun game.

Once you finish collecting all personal logs you must chose one of the 3 factions air-water-earth. You can then do daily-weekly and monthly quests that if you win you can get bonuses. If one gamer of a faction uses a bonus-say 10% more resources, that bonus lasts 1 hour but it affects ALL members of the same faction…

A much simpler balance for gold is needed something that requires so much gold that suddenly saving your gold becomes important…..for example how about an OLD WITCH that sells enhancement runes. a 50-100 rune would cost 250million a 70- 140 would cost 500mil and a 100-180 rune with a greater dragon effect would cost one billion gold! something like that the suggested gold is only an example to show how easy it is to suddenly create high demand for gold….

With so many players now we can barely find the elite planets uncleared, so for those that are doing missions and also for those in Sarkinon elite areas it would be quite cool if you repeated the awesomeness just like how you did it for bosses….

that way we ll have more funsies :)

Please comment in support so that hopefully devs see this.

thats a great idea and to motivate more people to switch on pvp in hostile mode you earn twice the exp from bugs…

Topic: Astroflux / Weapon suggestion

There is actually such a weapon and it is a BEAUTY! It changed my gameplay big time…. its called a Fire Trail and you can get it at vibrilian system by taking down fire moths or the boss there. I must admit it took a big effort to get the gun but for me it was really worth the effort…even though the very first time i dropped the gun from a moth someone else stole it and i was swearing for 2 hours (and made a post about setting bounties)…. luckily i got a 2nd the same day…

(oh you can also buy the weapon but its very expensive so i recommend a drop)

Topic: Astroflux / Real Fleet! Be an ADMIRAL!

Ok currently we have “Fleet” capability and we also have CREWS… so how about connecting the two and allowing to allocate one ship per crew member. The ships driven by your crew members would use A.I to follow you around and would use their primary weapon to either support you (heal weapon becomes useful) or attack the target closest to your ship. When one of your fleet ships dies it regenerates after 1min next to your own ship.

I know this would require some serious coding to achieve and its unlikely to happen but if it did it would motivate players to buy as many as 5 ships (the max number of crew members) hopefully spending some real money in the game in the process.

to arceus: here is a tip. Try grouping up with people to take down bosses and elites that you have never killed before, you get a bonus exp that sometimes can boost you 2-3 levels!

Now what I would really like to see is been able to offer minerals as bounties on pilots.

Simple bounty system to have revenge, now that would be nice!

If you get a bounty on your head you are not safe from neutrals or pirates alike…

Topic: Astroflux / PVP Is the reason I quit

With the recent limitations to certain level per system PVP gets less of a headache for those who do not like to PvP the higher level you are. at level 26 you get 5-6 areas that you can roam about freely doing your missions and exploring without having to worry about pirates.

I realise that to reach level 26 you have to spit blood but its doable in a week of not too hard core gaming. Probably doable in 4 days if you go hard core.

Just adding a different kind of thought…. it seems to me that once you reach levels 23-25 the only way to advance is by doing missions. The enemies give really crap exp for the effort they take and the last two systems are so darned hard that by the time you get to a level you can semi-comfortably kill some of them you will end up only getting 1 exp from them anyway…

A quick look at the game stats in kongregate shows about 100 gamers that have reached over level 30. If you do it by week you see only about 10 gamers over 23… that means that many gamers quit at about level 25-30 which is bad news for the game, if you cant retain peoples interest then you wont have a loyal community that will spend money on the game.

systems with 1-2 players in them suggest there may be something odd with the balance of the ncps….

PS. gosh there are some that shoot you to death before you can even see them on your screen…clearly the kongregate screen imposes big limitations since we cant go full screen…

Topic: Astroflux / suggestion: Linking crew abilities to combat performance

How about making the crew more useful and add a whole new meaning to exploring? Simply add all the points of your crew for each category (survival/diplomacy/combat) then:

For every 50 points in survival = +1% armor
For every 50 points in diplomacy = +1% speed
for every 50 points in combat = +1% damage

This would also motivate gamers to buy the extra 2 crew meaning more flux usage and hopefully more sales to support the game.
