Please, nobody else answer him. We’ve talked to marine in corps chat endlessly on budget guides to constellations, trials, ri8, and higher level pvp. He cannot listen.

You aren’t talking about conservatives bro, sounds like you dislike far right fundamentalists tbh. I’m conservative financially, but I support gay marriage, gun rights, abortion, and weed.

^ Hedge is right, you have the means to get a 6* skill with a little work, but if you refuse, you will be SOL.

For the t50 route, use indys, there is a guide on the igg forums on how to do t50 with indys and common comms. For the skill, as I recall you are in MM, find a sponsor

“Actually in terms of speed to build, balance in offense and defense, total time to research up to (and including the ship) dullahan is ABSOLUTELY the best”

Renegade’s info is valid, and lynx, that may be the story you got, but tract(his ex leader) was very in depth about the bully squads hitting panzer.

I’ll grant you that dulla is best all rounder, but I still disagree about it being the best ship. I’d prefer capras to dullas any day, same for vipers. I grant you, leonis aren’t as hot, but you forget that people with chimeras also have insane build speed anyway.

PS. If you can build them, message me in-game. Flags especially.

Well Dulls are not going to be popular as a main pvp hull with all the new ships that are soon to come and compared the the ships after the badge ships. Also nice to see you’re in MM, Hopefully we can help you with designs and other ideas.

What he means is join MM or the bully gangs will come and beat the tar out of you until you join, like what happened with panzer.

I don’t mean to be a pessimist here, but I would like to make the point that dullas are MUCH cheaper than black holes however. The cost for a BH is 314/487/297 metal/he3/gold respectively, while cost for a dulla is130/100/140 metal/he3/gold respectively, about 3X less expensive. Now I haven’t seen how effective black holes are against dullas, but I am willing to bet that 1 fleet of black holes wouldn’t stand a chance against 3 fleets of dullas.

Black holes can do quite well vs dullas, their 150 extra volume can hold 3 more magnetic directional weps.

Not sure what you are smoking. I have LW and BH as well. Oh and dullas. you were trying to make a point?

And yes. so what if A fb server had someone dump in 8k on the first day? I can tell you this and IGG can tell you this. It’s not about how much gets put in on the first day. Its about how much gets put in overall. People tossing in 2k a week will outspend that guy in a month. That doesn’t invalidate my points about how money literally buys progress and the fact that money gets dumped in shortens the lifespan of the game dramatically.

Don’t “correct” me just to correct me cause you want to act like a douche. If you are gonna correct me at least try and bring up a valid point instead of just trying to correct me for the sake of correcting me.

Okay, valid point incoming. Dullas are not the best ship in the game, far from it in fact. Black holes, Liberty wings, and all the chimeras are better ships, even the top tier badge ships are better then dullas. Second valid point: by spending 8k on the first day, FB players demonstrate their increased willingness to spend.

well any player can build black holes, and those are better than dullas. Strategy trumps brute force in this game, despite what people say. Use indys and gforces to draw fire and black hole glass magnetic to decimate dullas.

There are HUGE differences between D2 and this.
a) it doesn’t have to consume your life. stop playing D2 for 72 hours nothing happens. stop playing this for 72 hours you miss out on 3 days of ez boxes, loads of resources from harvesting, vouchers, daily quests, a whole set of trials and a half, and if you didn’t put up an advance truce you might have been hit.
b) money cannot advance your progress. No matter how much you have, short of paying someone to level for you, and buying equipment on ebay theres no way to get everything with just money thats built into the game. You can’t level faster, you can’t hit harder.
c) hardcore mode and ladder. nuff said.
Sure this game has huge amounts of content. but when it comes down to it, you can literally buy progression by buying more commanders, speeding up research, resources etc etc. Being able to buy progression disrupts the challenge vs frustration curve. Most of us had some serious problems getting past i9 or 17 because there was a difficultly jump. But someone who went off and spent enough money to get a 6* divine right away? There’s barely any difficulty when you deal loads more damage, and take next to none. Not to mention when you farm for bps its alot faster and you spend alot less HE doing it. Then it just feels too easy. Imagine if i1-30 were replaced with i1 enemies (comms and fleets) you would find it boring as hell cause there’s no difficulty curve. Thats what spending money does in this game. Money literally buys progress. So no. It could never last 5-10 years. You know why our server has progressed so far and have had people even do taurus already? Because our WWs dump money in much faster than facebook does. Judging by the fact facebook players still aren’t heavily reliant on dullahan (when even free players here can farm it) to the point where they have a special maintenance to BUFF it you have to realize we are as far if not further than some facebook servers which opened long before us.

tl;dr in a game where money can and does buy progression and throws off the difficulty-frustration curve. people that throw money at the game make it end faster.

A fb server had a player spend 8k on the first day… they dump way more in. Secondly, they got better ships then dullas such as chimeras, LW, and BH.

This structuring seems pretty neat, I like how f2p get an advantage in terms of fleet numbers. Hoping you can use more high * skills then divines though, since they aren’t as good.

okay i was talking about starters ve i30 i never specified and im sorry now lets plunk some numbers and this is for WWs so yeah f2p players should use the best weapon they can get lol this trick is only for new to the game WWs

Bionic chips
ballistic min max
orange X 203 247
purple X 161 195
blue X 122 148

Taskmaster I
dmg 19-23
vol 23

Ares Widowmaker III
dmg 189-230
vol 53

Taskmaster I /(avg. dmg)/(dmg/volume)
orange /246/10.7
purple /199/8.7
Ares Widowmaker III /(avg. dmg)/(dmg/volume)
orange /434.5/8.19
purple /387.5/7.31

now thats for rank 10 chips that are quite hard to get even more for a f2p you can get more dmg/volume ratio with a lvl 1 taskmaster with purple VII or orange IV chip so you shouldnt use ares widowmaker if you already have a chip like this now lets look at this

Taskmaster I /(avg. dmg)/(dmg/volume)
orange IV /162/7.04

Ares Widowmaker III /(avg. dmg)/(dmg/volume)
orange IV /350.5/6.61

orange 4 and purple 7 have almost the same stats so its practically the same.
now you can get a lvl 4 orange chip for 250 mp buying huma chips in the generate chips tab now lets talk about the cons and pros of this as every strategy in the known world has its drawbacks

pros of using a high lvl chip instead of a better weapon
there are no prerequisites you can get a 4 lvl chip for 250mp if you have the chip already obviously also you should use the trick of only mp in the slot 4 and 5 that way you will get better chances of getting an orange you should only use this with an orange chip because when you use a purple you will need 4 times as much exp so thats 1k mp if you want it really fast, you can use this from the very beggining i know most new players dont even bother to look at the forums but an experienced player could use this to a great extent

cons
lower steering you should use a module to counter this, infrared scope will nulify the penalty for steering but some people will say that will counter the benefit of using a chip so well thats that your ship will be more expensive i havent done the exact calculations but it seems it will be a bit more expensive than when using a better weapon (ie. i30 weaps)

pros of using a better weapon (ie. i30 weaps)
they are really good

cons of using a better weapon (ie. i30 weaps)
they have tons of prerequisites this trick wont best a constellation weapon but boy they are hard to get to get a star shooter like draconlazarus or renegade you must get 2 chest from virgo constellation 2 scenario 50 chests and the weapons in the mall that sell for 6k honor each so they are hard to get yeah thats without thinking about the research costs and the time expense and that you will get the 2 weapons you want from the scenario 50 chests and the constellation chests so that will surely involve a lot of farming but thats irrelevant well kinda xD

Do yourself a favor, stop talking… this was a tangled mess of a post…

“Ares” Widowmaker-III
Space 48 (with tech)
Steering 7.6

With 48 space available on a Weikes, I can exactly fit an Ares-III for 392-477 damage with Orange Min/Max-X’s.

I could fit 2 Rapid Fire-I’s in with 12 space left over for 422-514 damage with those same chips.

Statement holds true for starter vs i30 in ballistics. I acknowledge that Const weapons will probably be available to anyone that has such chips, but the math supports the statement that in some situations, big chips + smaller weapons can give more damage than bigger weapons with those same chips.

Your math was valid, but it did not relate to the statement comparing i30 weapons to starters.

Except this was never about i30 weps, anyone with even a single orange X will have AT LEAST t50 weps, and 95% of the time all the virgo weps upgraded and ready to go.
