Those are some big extreme feelings on both sides. Yikes. So basically what most people are saying is correct. We do not tell mods where to go or how much time to spend modding. We don't force them to help every user that asks/demands it. We are grateful for any and all help they give us. However, I think you'd find that if you asked most mods nicely to come help out, they would, not because they're obligated to, but because they're generally nice, helpful people. The links in Gevock's post are great resources. However, we also know that mod calls aren't the ultimate answer. We would love to find a mod for your room. The best way to help us with this is to send us an email (support@kongregate.com) with a few people you think would make good mods and why. There isn't currently a way to block comments. Chat mute does chat and shouts/whispers, forum mute from the greasemonkey script does forum only. We're fully aware of how lame our comments section is and definitely need to revamp it. I agree that something like this would be good, in addition to just the ability to up or down rate comments or even maybe have a spoiler tag. Make posts that aren't spam (and don't break any other rules) and they won't get deleted ;)_ I can't see this turning out well. It really would be a giantly huge target for trolling. There are many people in these here intertubes that like to be jerks and this would be a sign that says "People to harass can be found HERE!" In addition to that, we want people of all sexual orientations/races/genders to feel comfortable in *all* the chatrooms. If they're not, the solution is not to create a room to separate them into, it's to fix the current rooms so they're more accepting and less hateful. The great thing about this site (and the internet in general) is it brings together people from all walks of life, from all over the world :) I have friends from 13-70 who live in tons of different countries and have totally different lives, we'd lose that if we started separating rooms. While I can see why people might want to unite and bond over something like their gender or sexual orientation, I don't ever want them to feel unwelcome in every part of the site. I'm afraid a room like this would make people feel like they _should_ go into the chatroom that's labeled for a category they fit into.
