Sounds like it’s Focus.

-sci-fi

Just throwing out a quick guess, but is it Xenosquad?

I remember this game. I also can’t remember the name, but here are some more things:
the main character was Deus Ex or something like that.
It was about an alien race taking over earth and assimilating them (Borg style, but red instead of black)
The humans capture a mothers ip of the aliens under the leadership of the Deus Ex.

Damn it, you guys. I too remembered this game and couldn’t recall the title. This bothered me so much that I wasted a good chunk of my morning tracking it down. Oh well, at least I finally found it.

i remember a shooter game based purely on recoil and knockback. you played as a cannon and had to push other cannons of the level by shooting at them, does anyone know what it was called?

Topic: General Gaming / If you could make your own MMO...

i would make a MMORPG/MMO where you could choose everything. even ignore city building and only use and level your character or build stuff and level technologies and do the strategy part, or both. the combat when you are alone could be like Remnants of skystone and other advanced platformers and there could also be a fps campaing while the army campaings could be like planetary conflict and the epic war series. if possible i would use unity. the above mentioned could be different campaigns and in pvp the players should choose how the combat should be. some of the campaigns should have team up levels. buying in game currencies should be possible, but these would be the same as the ones you gain from your city, doing quests/campaigns and exploring.it should have an energy system that limits combat, but not city building. it should also have leagues or something. i don’t know which theme the game would be in, possibly something like age of war, like you level through ages. or several servers with different themes.

sorry for my bad english

i hope somebody makes this. i certianly won’t.

Topic: General Gaming / [Cursed Treasure: Don't Touch My Gems!] why is it no# 1 when there are alot of games on kong like this?

i agree with most of what LForce said (not about the skeletons, but most of the other), plus, the game is replay friendly. there are the upgrades you aquire, there are levels for you on top of the levels for the towers. however your upgrades don’t make the game more complex, i consider this important. however much you upgrade yourself, your towers don’t cost more to build. the towers cost increasing after how many you build is also a plus, it removes the possibility to just spam towers. you have to upgrade. personally i would love to see a cursed treasure 2. the game is mindboggelingly good for a tower defence

You should be able to find your game on this list:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_massively_multiplayer_online_role-playing_games

i read through it quickly checking out all 2d fantasy games’ names and pages, didn’t find it. maybe something a bit more spesific? i have tried about five new and old mmo lists, both by searching and by reading trough them. you may see where it says i have been looking for it for ages. here i mean ages like about ten to twelve months. would you not think i had seen through many pages in my search? i even tried to turn on my old pc to see if a had favourited it, but it didn’t work. i hope you guys prove yourself more internet experienced than me. now i have a headace.

splash x – attacks x enemy units in front of it instead of just one
split x – splits up damage and heal between x friends

Topic: Tyrant: General Tyrant Discussion / New Ability Suggestions!

shuffle x – moves x enemy units randomly around every turn
teleport – moves itself around your side of the field every turn
mind control – makes random enemy unit attack and use abilities on its own side for one turn
brainwash – if this unit kills an enemy the enemy changes side
resist – no abilities can be used on this
steal – if this attacks enemy commander it gives you a random card from his not yet deployed deck
brave/fearblock/antifear – any unit with fear will attack this unit instead of the leader
army x – when played appears as x units
big x – covers x fields instead of one but attacks only one enemy if ability says otherwise
retreat x – when killed this will return to your deck fully healed and loose one to the retreat points
mutilate x – removes x max health from unit it hits
spy – enters on enemy side but fights for you

Topic: Tyrant: General Tyrant Discussion / Suggestions

how about something like antifear or fearblock, any unit with fear ability will attack this unit instead of commander and be attacked for x damage. here is a card idea to start them off,

rare, imperial, building/assault (whichever you think fits, if assault it could have one damage) six turns until it is ready (they have to dig the trench
trenchfighters
ten health
wall, fearblock three, counter two (possibly regenerate five).

you could lower some of the numbers if it is overpowered
